I love how this food contains no sweeteners or salt! It is especially important for cats to not have much sodium for their heart. I have tried a few other grain-free kibbles and it took my kitties a while to dive in and eat it. No vomiting up hairballs anymore. With indigo moon, they eat the kibbles right away! Solid Gold has been around for a long time and have a good reputation. I recommend it.
My cats really like this food! They always dive right in whenever I feed it!

This is a good all-around grain-free food which my cats appear to find tasty. However, I only gave the food three stars for a number of reasons: the size of the kibble, which is very small, maybe a little larger than a pellet. My cats find it difficult to get a mouthful of the food and end up spilling it everywhere. They essentially swallow the food whole. Secondly, for the indifferent response I got from Solid Gold when I inquired about it. I was told it's the shape that the mill provided; implying to me that the company had no input on the size and shape (which I think is important). Bottom line, it's a good food, but there are far more superior grain-free foods on the market with an ideal proportion of quality protein sources listed as the first three ingredients. Such as EVO (Turkey, Chicken Meal, Chicken), Pinnacle (Chicken Meal, Chicken, Potato Protein) and Orijen (Deboned chicken, chicken meal, turkey meal). Indigo Moon starts with Chicken Meal, Potatoes and Canola Oil.
