My cat is 13 years old and has kidney disease, this is a wonderful product she has been much better since putting her on this.
Finallly a food that my younger cat doesn't throw up after eating! That's always a plus. Both of my cats love this food .
I have nothing negitive to say about this product. I have an older cat who is used to getting table scraps so he is PICKY! He also has IBS so changing his diet is a s-l-o-w process. He liked the food from the get-go and so did his system. He has had no problems assimilating it.
I also have a FIV cat who is prone to UT infections and has been on a special diet. I have switched him to this product as well and so far, so good - no issues.
My cat loves this food. When I got him over 9 years ago, I fed him Wysong Vitality. He loved it. Since he's older now, he gets the Geriatrx and the changing-food-transition we all know cats hate was non-existent. He loves this Geriatrx almost more than the Vitality!
My cat is strange; she thinks she can eat anything (including people-food), but I've discovered that she is very finicky when it comes to canned cat food. I usually feed her dry, but wanted her to have more variety in her diet.
Since she's an older cat (10+ yrs), I got her Geriatrx and she loved it. I tried some other canned foods afterwards, (spot's stew for cats, spa select, nutro), she would sniff but never touch them.
I put some Geriatrx in front of her, and she would start eating!
Geriatrx is a great canned food for old (geriatric, shall I say?) and meticulous cats.
