I have 3 border collies, who are very active and don't maintain their weight when worked consistently. I have always loved the dry food made by Canidae, but sometimes my dogs just need a few more calories. I find that when I add a can a day to their diet they stay in great condition, and their coats are so bright and smooth! One of my dogs has a sensitive stomach, especially when it comes to canned food, but she has never had a problem on the Canidae.

All three dogs in my family get some canned Canidae on top of their dry food every morning. I use it for my senior beagle, middle aged fox terrier, and younger jack russell. They love it and it adds some variety to their meal and some extra calories which they all need.

We've used Canidae dry for over a year now. Our westie's skin and coat is so healthy. When he had a tooth pulled our vet recommended canned for about a week and he loved it. We now mix in a little canned with the dry and he waits wagging his tail at mealtime. We love that Canidae does not import any ingredients and feel confident we are giving our little guy the best in nutrition.

I have a very picky older dog with allergies. She loves the Canidae canned food. She hasn't broken out in a skin rash or scratches since I've put her on it. My vet recommended it and it's been a sure thing! Only thing is, I think it smells bad.

I mix it with Nature's Variety dry kibble, and my dogs (who are very picky!) devour it every time.

Canidae is healthy and has no by products. My dogs love it. I have two older dogs who need a little encouragement with eating. They get a little bit of the canned Canidae on top of their dry Hills J/D (joint diet). I am very happy with this product.

I started buying Canidae when my 6 week old puppy became sick. He was diagnosed with juvenile
cellulosis.A very rare disease where He lost his skin and hair and infection fills their joints. I wanted my dogs on the best quality of dog food I could afford. I found Canidae in the health food store,when I opened it,it smelled good enough for me to eat. My dogs went nuts over it.It contains all of the best ingredients.Its helped to put back the skin and hair on my dog and he just loves it. It also puts weight on a dog ,makes their hair shine ,puts energy in them, and just knowing that they are eating healthy, makes me happy. It costs no more than the regular dog food on the grocery shelf. It's also easy to open with a pull tab.I wont buy anything else.

I recently started feeding this after deciding to go strictly with natural foods for my new puppy. She loves the food, I find it smells like "real food", and the ingredients are wholesome. You can actually identify the rice, because it isn't over-processed.
Because my older dog died of cancer, I educated myself more on dog foods, and I am avoiding preservatives and coloring in dog foods and treats. I never realized how full of preservatives they are. This product has no artificial perservatives.
I highly recommend this product.
