I would not recommend Natural Ultra-mix to any of my pet owning friends. I have two greman shepard puppies. one black and one white. I fed the the lagre breed puppy formula natural ultra mix and had terrible results. constant foul smelling (and i mean really really foul smelling) diarrhea, dry skin, and very dull looking coats. I thought it may have been that they had their food switched when we got them (prior they had both been fed some purina puppy junk) but after about two months of the same results i stopped usinng this product. I now use a different brand of dog food that has given me tremendous results. anyone looking to buy this product be careful. it is not even ranked in the top 10 in my opinion!

I recently talked to my vet about nutritious dog food. She asked me if I would eat potato chips for every meal - of course, I replied "no." She said that many commercial dog foods are about as good for dogs as chips & sweets are for us. She told me to beware of "by-products" and unnatural ingredients.
After investigating every dog food on the shelf, I found only 2 that contained no by-products and actually contained ingredients that I would eat (all natural). I fed my dogs the other food first, but suddenly they have not been interested in its taste ... so, I mixed it with Ultramix & now my dogs not only immediately finish their own bowls, but they try to steal each others! Nutrition + Taste!!
