Been using the food for over 4 years, it has reduced our vet bill I am sure, as they have been healthy ever since. Don't understand how other pet owners could feed their pets cheap grocery store feed.

I have two dogs both about 60lbs that switched from Innova Adult dry food to Dr. Harvey's the day it came in the mail. I just boil the water in the microwave, measure the meat, add the Dr Harvey's, put in a few pumps of ONP Icelandic Salmon Oil and let it cool. If I cook up some meat ahead of time it only takes about 2 minutes (boiling the water in the microwave) to actually prepare. It does need to sit and cool for a few minutes. I think you can just add the meat raw if you like, but I'd advise researching the raw diet beforehand. The only complaint I have, because I feel like I need to say something objective, is that it's expensive. To feed my 2 dogs it has doubled the cost of their food vs Innova Adult kibble. That statement figures in the cost of meat at about $2 per pound, and the cost of the salmon oil. It's been about 2 months and they've lost a couple pounds. They are kinda in between the BIG dog serving and the med dog serving size. I've increased their serving size to compensate. So I do suggest keeping a close eye on their weight either way when switching. Also the customer service at Dr. Harvey's is great. I've actually spoke with Dr. Harvey himself. Long story short, I do think that it is worth it and you get what you pay for.

Since we began using, our three Italian Greyhounds have never been ill and healthier than they have been for years. I would recommend it to anyone. Healthier dogs saves on Vet bills, which is more expensive than a great diet that they now receive.

My dog had no trouble changing to this food,he immediately started without coaxing.This product smells good,looks good,full of veggies! I think now he is eating better than I am! I stir in organic chicken,salmon,or turkey & some olive oil.It is high,but I know it is right.It certainly beats the hard brown stuff,although I do try to occasionally incorporate that,(the good kind),for his teeth & we still have some left.

it's easy to fix and I can customize to eaach dogs specific needs such as more protein for the young dogs, less protein for the old dogs with kidney problems, etc. You can add just what's right for your dog and leave out the rest....the dogs waste no time eating it, even the picky old dog cleans her bowl in 30 seconds flat...

I cannot believe what happened! We rescued a dog several weeks ago. We tried several different natural foods with her and she wouldn't eat. When she ate even a little she had bad stomach issues.
We read about Dr. Harvey's Canine Health and thought we would try it.
Sasha went crazy for it the first time we made it for her!
She licked her bowl clean! Amazing! We were in shock! Really, she had never seemed so happy and best of all everything came out perfectly, if you know what I mean.
She was regular from that day on. That was 4 weeks ago and she is now a permanent family member and we have Dr. Harvey's to thank for that!
I just wanted to write to let others know that if they have a dog that has problems or just won't eat, that they can find an answer. I think it is the best way to feed your dog,even if they don't have problems. I am just sorry I didn't know about this before, for our other dogs, who I have switched now to Dr Harvey's . Everybody is happy! ( We have three other dogs!)
I want to thank Only Natural Pet too, for offering this find quality product.
I have never had problems with a dog before and I feel very lucky that I found an answer.
I wanted more people to know about this great company. BTW we also give her the Power Patties, the dried tripe treats from Dr. Harvey's which she absolutely loves and they agree with her!

I feed this to my dog twice a day. It took a bit of figuring out to add the appropriate protein servings to the food, but once I did that, it's so easy to make. Best of all, I know what every single ingredient is, and I can distinguish them all. This is also great for vegetarian and vegan dogs, because you can just use lentils, TVP, eggs, or tofu for the protein source.

I give Ms. Madison this food 2x a day. It is convenient and easy to prepare. Ms. Madison has more energy even at her ripe 13 years of age. She looks forward to her meals. She has also kept her optimum weight while on this new food. I love this product and will continue to use it and recommend it.

I use this for our 4 dogs as a supplement to their kibble (which is Canidae and Innova combined). I will add some sort of protein, oil, etc., to it and the dogs just love it. I highly recommend it to others as a supplement (instead of canned dog food). Great product! "Only Natural Pet" is a great distributor!!!!

Dr. Harvey's Canine Health is great!!! A few months ago, my Lab was acting very strange and just not himself. For some reason, I was thinking that maybe his sudden strange behavior had something to do with his premium dry dog food. To make a long story short, I'm glad we found Dr. Harvey's Canine Health. It's been great! My 12 year old Lab LOVES it! He'll be asleep in the living room and immediately wakes up and goes to the kitchen when I'm opening the bag, getting ready to make his food. Not only does my Lab loves his food, it's also good for him compare to dry dog food. Definitely a 5 paw rating!

I am so grateful to be able to share the many wonderful experiences I have had with Dr. Harvey's Canine Health pre-mix, Health and Shine, Formative Years, Golden Years and CoQ10 supplements. All of these products have made huge difference and such a positive impact on the lives of my four rescue dogs. Miracle is really an appropriate word when speaking of Dr. Harvey's fabulous products. Two of the most amazing results came from my two newest and youngest rescue dogs. My Lovie is a two year old who came to live with me with severe arthritis in her elbow, gastrointestinal problems, and was a very picky eater. Well she loves Dr. Harvey's food so much I do not have to coax her any more to eat. Her GI problems have completely cleared up and best of all I had her on Adequan injections for her arthritis and my veterinarian wants to take her off of the injections because she is doing so well! My Albie came home from the Shelter wihout much hair. He was scratching and biting at himself constantly. My veterinarian thought he had allergies and because he was scatching so much he had to be put on antibiotics permanetly. I knew there had to be a better answer and was determined to find a cure for his allergies. That is when I found Dr. Harvey's Canine Health pre-mix dog food. I was lucky enough to speak with Dr. Harvey and he put him on Health and Shine and two other supplements as well. My dog does NOT scratch any more! I am writing to tell you how much I appreciate your time and patience when I called you about my twelve year old foxhound, Katy. Katy has Cushings disease and for the last several years has suffered from hair loss, inflamed liver, profound itching and chronic ear inflammation. After speaking with you on the phone I started her on the Miracle Diet and the recommended supplements we spoke about, specifically; vitamin E, COQ10, vitamin C and milk thistle. Ten days later, Katy has stopped itching. The pruritis is just gone. Her ear has returned to a normal pink and white color, no inflammation or exudate. But best of all is her liver has reduced in size, her eyes are brighter and she has a general look of well being. And she loves the food, slurps it right up. I have two other dogs and have switched all of them to Miracle Diet, my beagle had started itching also, now he has stopped. After switching to Dr. Harvey's my beautiful white cockapoo Sadie's eyes finally cleared! She no longer has the brown under her eyes that you so often see on white dogs. She loves to eat Dr. Harvey's, and her general health is fantastic - she is happy and energetic! I am so grateful not to have to worry about what is in her food. The first time we cooked the meals, she didn't know what was going on. That was the last time too! As soon as she sees me put on the pot of water and get out the food, she's all about it and watches me from the minute i start till the meal has cooled enough for her consumption. I now make a double batch and portion them into containers and put in fridge. When it's meal time, i take one out, take the chill off it and give it to her. After a week, on Dr Harvey's Canine health, we don't notice any physical differences yet, but she is THERE when it's time to eat. Have noticed she's not begging for treats or people food any longer.

We have been feeding our four dogs Dr. Harvey's Healthy Canine for many years. They range in age from 2 yrs. old to 12 and 1/2. The vets are amazed when they have their well checkups. They are in such wonderful condition, from bloodwork to their appearance! They have gorgeous skin and coats and all act like puppies.
If I'm not going to be able to cook for a few days, I prepare it and freeze each portion.
The little bit of effort it takes to prepare Dr. Harvey's Healthy Canine truly pays off in their good health.

Dr. Harvey's dog food was a revelation! My dogs had been eating packaged, dry dog food purchased at a pet store and one in particular had alot of health issues including poor digestion, dull coat and dry skin. When I started the dogs on Dr. Harveys I noticed how much they loved eating the food. After several months, I noticed a big change in their appearance..their coats were much shinier and healthy looking and the older dog seemed to have more energy. It only makes sense that fresh ingredients fit for human consumption would improve their overall health. I also find that once you get used to the process of preparing the food it is very simple and straight forward. We love Dr. Harvey's and will continue to use the food with pleasure. Thank you!

I am a HUGE fan of this product. After the loss of a very beloved dog, I did months of research on pet food, both in print and on the Internet. I was appalled at what I uncovered! I made a vow to find the best food for my two new puppies. They came from a rescue league with a supply of a name-brand dry puppy food. I immediately weaned them off of that an onto Dr. Harvey's. After five years, they are still like two little puppies, healthy, happy, active and content. Their coats are soft and shiny; they have never had a skin rash, digestive upset, or any other ailments. I could go on and on. I know how confident and reassured I felt when the pet food recall was taking place in 2007. My heart went out to all the pet owners who lost pets and those who worried they might experience such losses, but I was joyful in my knowing that I did not have that worry. This is truly a wonderful product and Dr. Harvey is equally wonderful.I called and pummelled him with questions before I bought the product. I am happy to recommend this product to family and friends.

We finally decided to try Dr. Harvey's after a bit of researching. We chose this because it has organic ingredients and you don't have to add veggies or fruit. Cosmo loves it much better than his old dog food (Fromm's Gold the only one he would eat that I recomend for fussy dogs like him) Just a couple tips the 1lb batch of food lasts Cosmo, a 15lb. bichon/poodle, two days and don't cook the mix as long as the package says.

This is truly the best dog food in the world. I cannot thank you enough. Dr.Harvey's is genius. My dog Seth has had digestive issues since he was a pup. For years we have tried different foods and medications. Nothing really worked. A friend told me about Canine Health- The Miracle Dog food and I cannot say enough. In about 1 week, Seth stopped having episodes of loose stools and big bonus he stopped scratching! It was amazing. I didn't want to believe that just changing his food could make such a difference.
I went to my Vet and we started to take him off his meds. Within 3 weeks he was off all of his meds and continues to be in great shape.
We are so thankful to have found Dr. Harvey's. I recommend to everyone who loves their dog. It is really not hard to make at all and it has made all the difference for Seth and for us. By the way Seth, is a German Shepherd and I think many dogs of this breed have similar issues. I highly recommend you try Dr.Harvey's. It has totally worked for us!

We use this great product mixed in with our dog's kibble which is either Canidae or Innova. It is just a nice addition to their food and they love it! We first started using it when our beloved White German Shepherd was diagnosed with Lymphoma. All through his chemo, he would gobble up this food and the other three loved it too. Unfortunately, he has passed, but we continue to use this food as a wonderful addition to our dogs diet. Highly recommend it!
p.s. My husband smells this stuff when it's cooking and asks, "What are you cooking? Smells great!" He thinks the dogs eat better than us. He's probably right!!!

Ever since the food scare I have been feeding my dogs Dr. Harvey's. My overweight Maltese is now down to his optimal weight bacause there are no preservatives or fillers in this food. It is easy to fix, and I feel better knowing exactly what my dogs are eating.

Our dog Buddy is a Black Lab/Pointer mix and is 12 years old. He devours Dr. Harvey's dog food morning and night. It takes us about 10 minutes to make in total---while Dr. Harvey's food is on the stove cooking we usually microwave chopped meat or use leftover dinner meat (chicken breasts, steak, etc. chopped up) from night before which is then mixed in with Dr. Harvey's food along with oil. Buddy's digestion used to be terrible but has improved significantly with this wholesome food but more importantly, he just loves it! He is very impatient waiting for it to cool down for a few minutes. crying and pacing until his dish reaches the floor. At this point, i truly believe he inhales the food-its gone that quick!!! Buddy has been On Dr. Harvey's dog food for 9 months and we will most certainly continue to give it to him. We are all very happy with this product and have Uncle Joe to thank for recommending it.

My dog had digestive problems and skin problems for years I tried absolutely everything. After 2 weeks on Dr. Harvey's she is better than she has ever been. Her itching has stopped and her bowels are normal for the first time! This stuff is amazing. I will never feed anything else and I am telling all of my friends to switch. I wish I could tell everyone who loves their dogs to try this food. It really is the miracle dog food. Thank you.

My 11 year old dog looks better than she ever has now that she eats Dr Harvey's. They say to simmer it for 8 minutes, but that way overcooks it-- I just add hot water from the faucet and let it sit until it's cool enough to feed. I use ground beef, ground turkey, eggs, and/or cottage cheese in it, and my picky dog eats it up. She has always been thin, now she's rounder and shinier, and people think she's a puppy sometimes. It only takes me a few minutes to prepare and it's worth the effort!
