Our Bichon really likes the taste of this dog food. She never has any problem with digesting the food. Our family feels it is a very healthy dog food.

I have several bichons and each has their own individual requirement. I have to spoon feed this precious little bit and the first bite is always 'suspicious.' Maybe there is medicine in it! I mix a little bit with warm water and some dry food and spoon feed it to her slowly. She sniffs it first so she knows what she is getting. Once she realizes that mom isn't trying to stuff medicine into her, she will take it very graciously! She loves it. She will eat it all! She is so happy, that she does the "Skippy Dance" on the floor after she is done.

I am only giving him a small amount now since he has allergies. I'm having to add a small amount of water to it as it is so thick! He doesn't care for it too much but eating small amounts with the water added. Probably won't order it again.

A little goes a long way. My dogs LOVE this mixed with the Newmans Own dry food. It is great as a filler in the Kong treat carrier, (doesn't smell) as an alternitative to p-nut butter!

I have completely taken our dogs off dry food because of scratching and skin problems, not to mention the scare with tainted ingredients. I cannot believe the amazing difference in their coat and skin with this food and they have completely stopped scratching. Their hair is thicker and their skin is soft and pink with no signs of irritation. In addition to this food I have also added omega 3 and 6 to their daily diet.

When we first brought Shasta (1 1/2 yr old white sheperd) home she was scratching quite a bit and we were told she possibly had a corn alergy. Her foster home was feedig Costco dog food. She wasn't eating very well. As soon as we got her on Newmans Own, She licks the bowl clean! Scratching has subsided, and best of all her stool doesn't have that Dog S--- Smell!!
The fact that the proceeds go to humanitarian causes is a real plus!

After the tainted dog food scare, I began buying different brands of organic dog goods for my Pomeranian & SHE chose to eat Newman's Own. She ended up eating the contents of the whole can where I had to throw other brands away. Thank you for preparing this safe & tasty food that smells good too.

I have been feeding my dog Newman's Own dry and canned dog food after spending hundreds on vet bills because of allergies and other health problems. Not only did his allergies go away but he gained weight and is in perfect health. Jupiter is now 14 years old and acts like a puppy. I swear by this dog food. If you love your dog and want to keep him around for awhile as a happy and healthy companion feed him/her Newman's Own.
