We just got our Wheaton Terrier Pennie in Msy. We started her out on Royal Canin but now that she is eating more, it was getting a bit expensive. We switched to Wellness Puppy without a hitch. There were no problems with switching the food over at all. So far with Wellness we have gotten a HIGH quality dog food at an affordable price.

I have a bulldog puppy that just loves his food! Everything I have read about this breed that they are lazy and not very active is just not true with my puppy. He has so much energy, he looks great, and is so happy. He loves to run & play and even is learning that he can swim! I really believe that it's this awesome food that has created a very healthy and happy puppy!

I have a cockapoo that I tried to switch to a completely non-grain diet. I had him on a very good quality dry food, wet food, and treats. It was expensive to make the switch, but I had done a lot of research and thought it was best for my puppy. I was wrong. About 3 weeks into the new diet, my puppy got really sick and had bloody stool, and then just blood coming out from there. I took him to the pet ER and after a bunch of tests and x-rays, the only thing that was abnormal was kidney function. The vet was not 100% sure, but he said it could have been because his food was over 52% protein. After a few days of medicated food, he's now on this brand and is doing quite well. He's perfectly healthy, he likes the dry and wet food, and he also like the 95% version of venison as well. Wellness will be his food for life now.

I just adopted a puppy from a rescue group and he was being fed Iams dry puppy food. I weaned him off of that and started him on a mix of Wellness canned and dry puppy food. His coat has gotten shinier and softer and his color is more deep and rich. He has lots of energy and bright eyes. I also like to supplement with some Norwegian salmon oil capsules as a meat-based source of EFAs. My cats are on a raw food diet since they are obligate carnivores and don't benefit from plant-based ingredients such as grains and veggies. Since dogs are omnivores it is easier to feed my pup a high-quality commercial food...as long as there are no unnecessary additives, fillers, preservatives, etc. I feel good feeding my pup Wellness...the results speak for themselves!

Excellent for Chihuahua puppies
By Web DivaVerified Purchaser from Toronto ON on 1/2/2007
Pros:
Good Value, Nutritional, Tasty
Best Uses:
Puppies, Smaller Dogs

The product is excellent and my puppy responds very well to it. It's not too hard for his teeth but crunchy enough to keep him interested enough to eat. His energy levels are good and his coat is excellent. I highly recommend the product, particularly given it's holistic nature.

Superior Line of Dog/Puppy Food
By J.DVerified Purchaser from Boston, MA on 12/27/2006
Pros:
Good Value, Nutritional, Tasty
Best Uses:
Puppies

I started using this brand through recommendations from owners of larger dogs with constant skin and ear infections. They guaranteed positive results - there lab is healthy and beautiful free of infections. We tried this line on new rescue puppies that were not able to keep down other brands and the results were great. They're healthy, shiny coats, bright eyes and white teeth.

I will never feed my puppy anything else
By SnickersVerified Purchaser from Missouri on 12/16/2006
Pros:
Good Value, Nutritional, Tasty
Best Uses:
Puppies, Smaller Dogs, Special Needs

My dog was having digestion problems. The vet prescribed Eukanuba Low Residue and my 5 pound baby lost half of his weight. After researching different foods on the internet and talking to different people, I tired the WELLNESS canned puppy food. It worked miracles. Not only is the digestion problem solved, but my puppy is healthy and active.
