We rescued a 7 year old sheltie from a local shelter. He absolutely loves this food. It has the added benefits of being low in calories, joint supplements and tasting/smelling great. Out of all dogs we've had on a variety of different food, I have never felt a softer coat. It is truly a great product and I'm a buyer for life!

My dogs are doxies aged 10 and 11 and their stomachs have become more sensitive. I had no problem changing them to this dog food and they love it, no more puking. My only suggestion is to have a senior low cal version for less active dogs.

My 15 year old dog spent most of her life in hospitals for stomack problem, IBD, and finally after changing her to this product, she is almost never sick... I have been using it for 1 year and I have tried them all..This is really a great dog food.

The Wellness products are wonderful! My dog has eaten the senior dry for years now and still loves it! It makes his coat nice and he is very healthy!

I started feeding the senior formula because it has glucosamine and condroitin for joint health. It seems to help with their arthritis, but my old pups are still very active. The reduced caloric value of the senior food caused them to loose weight pretty quickly until I increased their portions. Although I like the food, I may switch back to regular super 5 mix and supplements for my active seniors, but for less active dogs it is great!

A good quality dry dog food. My dog's coat looks great. My puppy prefers her food over Eukanuba puppy chow. I would still add a joint supplement if your dog has those issues.

Our 10-year old lab has had a problem with dry skin, lots of shedding which was getting out of control and also has been plagued with seasonal skin allergy problems causing him to lick his paws raw in the late summer/fall. Many trips to the vet, special shampoos and conditioners, medicines, etc. Brushing was unbelievable --- I thought he would go bald with all the fur coming off his coat, chunks of fur. Within one month of switching to Wellness senior, we noticed less shedding. Within two months, his coat is thick and glistens. When brushed, hardly any fur on his brush which is unbelievable to us. He seems more content with this food and no more itchiness. Hoping that his seasonal allergies will be much better this year. We have our fingers crossed.
