Comb works great on main body and head. Doesn't really work on legs where there are lots of fleas and dog may be sensitive where there is less hair(belly). It really pulls the fleas off but it is time consuming and each time you pull the comb thru the hair and remove fleas you must immediately immerse in soapy water to drown fleas then wipe off comb before running brush thru hair again.

This worked great for our long haired cat who gets mats frequently. He doesn't mind getting brushed now and I have to cut less mats.

I have 2 dogs and 3 cats that hate to be groomed. I apply the flea remedy one day and then a few days later I comb out the dead fleas-works great.

Although my cat is short-haired,he sheds like mad in the spring. When I use the soft-grip flea comb it pulls out a ton of hair in just a few swipes. Used daily I'm noticing a lot LESS hair on the bed, rugs, chair, etc. It's been a great find for me.
