Being a new dog owner of a baby boxer for 4 months now, I have tried multiple nice smelling shampoos in the bottle. They are all really the same and none of them (including this one) really have a lingering scent for longer than a few hours after shampooing. Cleans well though. Easy to rinse out and lathers nicely. :-)
Only Natural Pet Store Response:Natural products that skip heavily saturated and artificial fragrances may not have the lingering aroma that some commercially avaiable products do. Natural fragrances are fresh and safe to breathe - enjoy them while they last, and perhaps try a natural freshener spray to keep your dog smelling fresher between baths.

This shampoo has a pleasant, but not at all overpowering scent. I especially like the lingering scent of apricot.
