this works great on my dogs breath. I have 4 dogs in the household so really need it, when they get up close and personal like they love to do .

I bought this for my two cats - they won't let this stuff near them! as soon as i put it on my finger they go running for the hills! the smell is very strong, and it's not a cat-friendly smell. It's a bit minty - and a bit medicinal. I have to literally straddle my cat and try to get this on her gums, and it ends up all over her face. I tried putting it in treats, on her paw....nothing. She'll walk away from the treats, or let the stuff dry on her paw. There is no way she would voluntarily put it in her mouth. Ha. Cats are so difficult. I'll keep trying though...the poor thing hates me for doing this to her though. :(

The directions say to give it about a month. So far, it seems to be helping with not only the tarter build up, but also my dog's bad breath. He likes the taste too.

This is a great product for my chihuahua! I have only been using it a short time, but I can tell it is beginning to loosen the tartar. I try to rub it on her teeth since she does not like a toothbrush in her mouth. We make it our "bedtime habit"!

I have used it on two of my dogs and it works!!! The tarter they had is noticibly less in just a month of use.

Used daily it's a descent product and I would probably use it again. Although, I am convinced that the only way to get healthy, complete dental care, to preserve your dog's teeth and gums, is to have a professional cleaning by a veterinarian. After that, I believe this product would work better, for maintenance purposes.

One of my dogs had bad plaque build up. Along with several other products purchased from All Natural Pet, his teeth are now pearly white!

Best product for my small dogs' teeth. Hoping to end vet teeth cleaning and it's working like a charm. Have tried both the spray and the gel. Like the gel better! Easier to apply and my dogs do not freak out like they do with a spray coming at them. Like the price. I ordered the small size 1st time and because I have 11 dogs ordered the large refill size the next time. My Mother is using the salmon gel on her poodle and she loves it. May go that way in future!!

I adopted an older pet with dental issues. As a first course of action, I chose to use this product before dental surgery. Prompted to buy this product by the other reviews, I've been happy with the results. In just a couple of weeks I've seen a considerable difference in the amount of tartar. It also does a great job on odor control.
Although the directions suggest a twice a day application for serious tartar situations, I only apply it once a day right before bed. I put the suggested amount into a small dish and then work from there. At first I tried rubbing it on with just a finger, but I found it easier to use a soft, small toothbrush and gently brush the teeth and gums.
The dosage for my small dog is only 1/3 teaspoon which means the bottle will last a very long time.
I like using it because it is easy to apply. So far, I think it is doing a good job, but I have not used it long enough yet in order to tell you just how great it is. I would purchase again.

We use this product in order to supplement the Proden PlaqueOff product (which is added to food).
You can either use a toothbrush or apply the gel/spray directly to the teeth. I find that the gel is easier to use with our dogs than the spray.
Since we have been using the product our one dog's teeth have improved. You really need to use this product on a daily basis for about a month to see any difference (depending on the extent of the tartar build up). After you have achieved the results that you are looking for, you can taper it down to a maintenance level (a couple of times a week). Great product!

Purchased for my three cats oral health. Not too difficult to administer, cats don't seem to mind it and feels good that I'm doing something positive for their dental/gum health. Still new to product so we will see how it works out.

My 3YO dog had terrible tartar buildup on one of his fangs. With my finger, I applied a little of the gel to the gum line, maybe 1-2x/week, and within no time, the tartar started breaking down. Excellent product! Saved us $$$ and the stress of a visit to the vet.

This spray is great, especially for those dogs that hate to sit still for their tooth brushing. A few sprays is all it takes. In about 1 week, my Sheltie's teeth/gums were cleaner and his breath was fresher.
