I bought this product because my long-haired psycho-kitty was attacking her tail and pulling tufts of fur out. She had a bald spot on her chest and her skin was really dry and flaky. After only 2 or 3 uses of this spray, the difference was astounding. Her fur was silky soft and her skin wasn't flaking anymore. She has also very nearly stopped attacking her tail all together. The results were so great I also tried it on my other 2 cats, who were shedding like crazy (both short haired). Now their coats are silky soft, as well, and the shedding has let up considerably! Another great bonus is that after using it on the cats my hands are nice and soft too. :)

NOTE: My cats are terrified of the sound of the sprayer, so I spray some in my hands first and just rub it on them thoroughly.

I bought this for our 9-year-old lab mix. He has some "hot spots" and itchy skin. It smells great and I love that it's a natural product. BUT it has not been effective for us... I try to spray it on and brush it in, but his fur is so dense that I don't think the product ever gets to the skin. It may be helping a little on the spots where he has lost a lot of hair from scratching, but I'm not sure. The nice smell doesn't last long at all, and then he's back to scratching and smelling like a dog. This might work better on dogs or cats with a different kind of coat.

My cat has flakes. He is also blind, so trust can be an issue. He doesn't mind it at all when I spray on this product. He likes it! I like what it does for his coat however, he still has flakes.
I have only used it a couple of times, so i'm hoping the flakes will go with further use.
