I was really hopeful after reading the reviews, but this product didn't work any better (or worse) than Laxatone. My cat is very old, eats very little, and was needing enemas weekly. Even after giving her this product daily she still needs the enemas. It tastes kind of weird (yes, I tasted it), and she drooled mightily after each dose. Since she doesn't eat much I could not mix it with food.
She did go a bit, but not enough to keep her colon clear, and no more than with daily Laxatone, which she also hates. Sigh.

I bought this product based on the high reveiws and the similarity to my problem. My kitty is 18 and she was given several enemas by the hospital and vet. This was always a temporary solution and very hard on my cat. Enemas also triggered colitis. Laxatone and Petromalt weren't very successful and I was running out of options. I really didn't want to go with chemical type laxatives that are not easy to administer. distasteful and traumatize the cat. Plus chemical laxatives have bad side affects. This product does exactly what it states. It worked over night for my cat. I followed the instructions with three drops three times a day on the food or directly into her mouth. She went that night. The next morning I gave her two drops and when I checked on her on my lunch hour, she had gone again. I have stopped using it to see how she does on her own. But, I am sure happy to know I have this product in the house when I need it.

Laxa-Herb Herbal Formula is just the thing to help our 14-year old Shih Tzu stay regular, without straining. Occasional constipation is no longer a problem.

We have a 13-year old male kitty that has suffered with constipation, arthritis (which makes it difficult to go as well), and now a thyroid issue. By administering the Laxa-Herb product with 2 other medicines prescribed by our vet we have seen a major turn-around in his health and well-being. I had our doctor look at the laxative to make sure it looked ok to them, and they felt it would be fine. Six months ago we didn't think he would make it to Memorial Day. Now...as long as he is doing well, he could be with us for many more years.

My kitty is 17 and was ACUTELY CONSTIPATED for THREE MONTHS!! I took her to the vet who told me her bowels may be just "shutting down". He hydrated her and gave her two PetEms 6ml each followed by glycerine (not fleet) suppository. This was very hard on her and she needed my help in pushing the skin back and actually pulling the fecal matter out as she PUSHED! [...] I was giving her an enema after soaking her in warm water and applying vaseline around opening Once/week. This go to be too hard on her and if you don't do it slowly and gently you can injure your kitty. It was taking 1-1/2 hours to give one enema. I was beside myself and took her to a holistic vet who told me to mix Rite Aid brand K-Y personal lubricant jelly and distilled water 50/50. I put it in a new ear wash bulb and inserted it (with the help of vaseline around opeing) and it did Nothing!!!! I prayed and asked Jesus to help me know what to try and I was led to onlynaturalpet.com where I tried LaxaHerb! Relief OVERNIGHT!!!! So...I gave it to her for the second day as well. Then she went on her own for several days!!!! So I now give her 3 drops on the food 3 times in the same day ONCE per week. She feel SO SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!
