I use this product with my dogs food twice a day. She has to have probiotics to digest her food, and this product works great for her. She doesn't have gas or burp.I have nothing bad to say about this product.

My male Ragdoll cat Buddy was diagnosed with IBD. I mix this probiotic and phytomucil in his Wellness Core canned food and this combination works because he doesn't have gas, bloating, burps and vomiting. He feels much better and he must like the taste because he gobbles up his food. I'm glad he didn't have to take prenisone and do the food trial.

I use this for my cat and my dog. Before using this product my dog had HORRIBLE gas, and now she only has gas rarely and when she does it is not as severe. My cat, who is 15, started having problems with constipation and diarrhea on a regular basis. Now she seems more comfortable going to the bathroom and her stools look normal. This product has worked great for them!

I have a cat that has always had hairballs and vomits. She has always been on hairball food and a lot of the time when she vomits there are no hairballs, she just regurgitates her food. She doesn't like laxitone and she eats hairball treats, but still she vomits. I try feeding her small frequent meals so that she does not over eat. I had this on hand for another cat and started using it on her...so far its been weeks and she has not vomited once. I just put in on her dry food. She doesn't mind the taste.

About 2 years ago, my cat (Jack) began vomiting every day. Although he continued to eat ravenously, he lost a lot of weight. I took him to vet numerous times for various blood tests and medications - none that worked. After several months of vomiting and vet visits, Jack was diagnosed with PANCREATITIS. My vet immediately prescribed prednisone and a change in diet. Since the diagnosis was so long in coming and my cat was very thin, I began the medications of prednisone and pepcid AC. He reacted fairly positive to this treatment. However, a few months ago he began vomiting frequesntly again. The vet suggested increasing the medication. As hard as it may be, I would actually like to wean Jack off the meds, so increasing the dosage isn't an option. I did more research and found that digestive enzymes are beneficial for cats with pancreatitis and here I am writing a review about my experience. So far, Jack (and my other cats) have reacted favorably to this supplement. Jack is definitely vomiting less (maybe once a week now) and he seems much more comfortable. He's doing things that he hasn't done in years - I assume that he has less discomfort. I will continue to use this product and work with Jack to make him as comfortable as I can.

THERE APPEARS TO BE NO TASTE SO IT'S PERFECT FOR MIXING WITH FOOD. I USE DAILY AS A SUPPLEMENT TO A HOME COOKED/RAW DIET. THE PROBIOTICS HAVE REGULATED BOTH OF MY DOGS STOOLS. DIGESTION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO A DOGS VITALITY AND LIFE SPAN. IN THE PAST I WOULD SEE UNDIGESTED FOOD PASSED IN STOOLS SO I KNOW THAT THEY WERE NOT GETTING THE FULL BENEFIT OF THEIR FOOD. I NOW FEEL CONFIDENT THAT THEY ARE GETTING ALL REQUIRED VITAMINS AND NUTRITENTS.

One of my dogs often has diarrhea after eating, and it could get quite messy. This product eliminates the problem and at an affordable price. I use it daily on both dogs.
I use this with Alaskan Salmon Oil and it stops itching and vomiting in older cats and they love the taste.

I love this brand of Probiotics and use it for my 2 cats (daily in their wet food). It really helps cut down on bad breath and litter box odor. Well worth the price plus shipping costs.

My 15-year-old cat Serafina had been vomiting up a white liquid for several months. As soon as I started giving her 1/4 teaspoon of Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes & Probiotics, the vomiting stopped. This is an amazing product. I wouldn't be without it again. I will buy it and other products from you in the future.

My puppy has intestinal issues and had been on Tylan powder 2x a day. Also tried many foods and supplements and nothing had worked. I had tried this as a last resort and it worked GREAT!!! Her stool has been perfect ever since and she is now completely off the Tylan Powder and I couldn't be happier!!! I highly recommend! I groom dogs and recommend this to all my customers!!!

My cat couldn't hold down food and was losing weight at an alarming rate. The vet couldn't figure out what was wrong & wanted to put my little buddy on prednazone/steroids as a buckshot approach to treat the unknown. Instead, I got online & read & researched. They say raw diets are more natural b/c of the enzymes. Well, my old cat wouldn't eat the raw food, so I found these enzymes. I just sprinkle a little in w/ his canned food at night & let him have dry food all day.
Within DAYS of starting these enzymes & probiotics, my cat stopped puking. We've been using this product for almost 2 years now and he has been holding down food just fine & returned to his healthy weight.
My cousin's old cat started having similar problems, so I got him some of these enzymes too. It worked! Gevy is feeling better too!
My 11 year old Labrador Retriever suddenly came down with colitis and the vet said he could stay on a anti-gas medicine for the rest of his life. I tried this product and within days of admistering it, no more diareaha, no gas and wonderfully, no surprises upon arriving home from work. I use this supplement on both my 12-year-old dog and my 6-month-old pup as an adjunct to dry food and along with other supplements. Both dogs like it very much. The puppy is truly thriving and my old pooch has more spring in her step.
My cat has terrible food and (we thought) airborne allergies. We'd tried many non-allergenic foods and supplements, but she still had red ears, itching, sores, congestion, fatigue, etc. Since we've started this product, her symptoms are so much improved. Not entirely gone, but an extreme improvement. It's well worth buying this product...and it's so easy to use (she seems to like it).

Our Sheltie (now 11) has had bouts over the past 2 years when she would be bleeding rectally. She would lose large quantities of blood and by the time we would get her to the vet, her blood pressure would be extremely low and, on at least one occasion, she was near death. After $1500, and a 3-night stay at the vet, they sent us home without a diagnosis. Last year, I was diagnosed with Crohn's Colitis. I had all of the same symptoms as our Sheltie. Once I started researching my disease, and changing my diet to include daily probiotics and food such as rice, I began seeing a big difference in my health. Then, I began looking for a similar product for animals. That's when I found this product. Within a couple of months, our dog's health had improved just as mine had. She hasn't had any bloody episodes since starting the probiotics w/plant enzymes.In June 2008, I got a Golden Retriever puppy. He came to us having been on a diet of "cheap" dog food. His stools were runny for the first week. We started him on the probiotics during that first week. Guess what?! Problem solved! Then, we began weaning him off of the "cheap" food for even more improvement.Finally, this product is the least expensive I have found for the ingredients and method of administration (powder sprinkled in with food). After one year of use, we're convinced.

The best supplement, bar none that I have ever used for my champion Boxer show dog. I feed a premium food, add pure Icelandic Salmon oil and Animal Essentials. My girl has never had a digestive or stool problem since I added this product to her regime. She is the picture of health and vitality.

I never write reviews, but after curing my cat of her stomach problems, I felt that I wanted people to know how well this product works for CATS as well as dogs. My cat Chloe had chronic runny stools, no matter what food I put her on (wet or dry -- always high quality -- Wellness, Innova Evo, etc). The vet put her on Hills W/D, which got rid of the runny stools, but after being on it a short time, her coat became dry and bristly. She also began to develop allergies.
I was determined to get her off the poor quality food, so tried these probiotics. Within a few days, no more loose stools and her coat is back to normal. I HIGHLY recommend this product for anyone who has a pet with stomach issues.

Animal Essentials Plant Enzymes & Probiotics is a staple in my household. It helps my dogs to assimilate their food more efficiantly. One of my dogs had chronic yeast infections in her ears & with the help of this and some other natural products they have kept clear. My dogs all of bright eyes & shiny coats thanks in part to this product.

I sprinkle this in my mini schnauzers Merrick Before Grain Dog Food. They both were having runny stools on and off since weve had them and also getting dermatitis. I switched their dog food to no grain and starting using this product about 2 weeks ago..Their skin is getting back to normal and no more diahhrea..Great product and so easy to sprinkle in their food..They eat it right up!!! Wonderful Product!!!!!!!!!!!!

I started using this a few years ago, when I got a very sick cattle dog pup with very delicate digestion. The antibiotics got him better, but he still had problems, including horrible gas and loose stools. Since Animal Essentials is the only brand of supplements Dr. Pitcairn endorses in his book, I ordered this. My pup's gas stopped completely after the first addition of this product, and his stools can now be photographed as perfect examples from a healthy dog! Since my dog has had on and off irritable bowels, I put a 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. of this product and a dollop of live culture yogurt in each meal to keep him in great health.

Our 2 year old boxer has a very sensitive stomach and I was recommended by a friend to give this website a try. Boy am I glad I did! I got the powder to sprinkle on her food and it took about a week to kick in but it's helped her a lot. She isn't that gassy anymore (hardly ever) and her stool is actually normal- she isn't taking 3 bowl movements everytime we take her for a walk. She's certainly more regular. I don't give her special food because she didn't like the one we got from the vet so she eats the stuff she loves- the regular dry food from the market. I highly recommend this to anyone pet owner that has a dog with a senstive stomach.

Scotty the dog has pancreatitis. He is taking antibiotics. This supplement is great to replenish natural bacteria in his sytem. Really impoves his digestive system. Excellent product.

My dog was very sick for 2 1/2 months with projectile vomiting, after many test, X-rays and finely a endoscope that took biopsies that discovered that he had a ulcerated stomach with bad bacteria that was cured with 3 weeks of antibiotics but he still would burp up his food and his stomach was still acting sensitive so i decided that I was going to change his food to a grain free diet and put him on probotics and it is AMAZING! After about a month I really saw a BIG change in his overall health. He gained mussel and energy. He was a rescue that when he was found was very sick and I believe he never got fully well until now. I suggest if your pet has stomach issue look at the options they have on this website and also take their advice and change your pets diet and I bet you'll see a difference. I am so glad a friend referred me to this site, with proper vet care and a good diet and supplements my dog has now been healthy and happy!

This product seems to improve digestion for my giant breed dog. He has a problem with overproducing bile, which causes him to throw up bile when he has gone too long without food or when he becomes overly excited. While I do not think that the probiotic has helped specifically with the overproduction of bile, I do believe it's improving his overall digestive process. It's wonderful that this particular probiotic is lactose-free, as my dog does not tolerate dairy well.

Not sure about any side effects, but that's only because my mixed dog has so many issues. However, after being on it a few months, I ran out, and she had EXPLOSIVE diarrhea several times until I got her back on it. Won't let that happen again! Was recommended by my "holistic" corgi champion breeder, so that's good enough for me.

Our 3 year old collie has had bouts of diarrhea from puppyhood. We have tried all natural foods, raw foods, home-made diets, etc. with no success. Since learning about the necessity of pro-biotics and enzymes to aid in digestion, we set about looking for a product that we could use daily with Duncan's food.
Since using Animal Essentials and switching to natural spring water, Duncan has had no more diarrhea, no more loose stools and no more foul smelling gas (whew!)I cannot recommend it highly enough for pets who are suffering from digestive issues.

I read the comments before I purchased this product. What everyone says is true. I have had my dogs on this product for 1 week due to stinky farts. I feed high quality food and couldn't figure out why this was happening. Now with using Probiotics for 1 week I have had great results. I know it helps them digest and use the nutrients as well as resolve the farts so I make this part of their daily diet. They enjoy it with 1 table spoon of plain yogurt or cottage cheese.

I've always given this to both of my dogs. Even though I feed high quality food, it important to give enzymes so that they can extract the maximum amount of nutrients from it. My dogs have great digestion. Very rarely do they get upset stomachs and cleaning up after them is a breeze. I'm sure that this product has a lot to do with that.

This has been a miracle for my Manx mix rescue cat. Like many tailless cats, this guy has problems with digestion & elimination. He had ongoing problems with both diarrhea & hard stool. It's made a huge difference for this guy!

i like this product for maintence on the digestive system. it's a powder and my dogs eat mainly all natural all organic dry kibble, so i usually have to give this in rice or some sort of mashed potato. i can't give it any other way at least for my dogs. it does help with the nasty farting no more vomiting.

My cat Thomassina is 15 1/2 years old and on a natural diet. Lately though she has had trouble digesting.This product stopped her symptoms and got her back on track.
I was afraid she would "Sniff" it out as she has other products I've tried, but I put it in her morning food and she never knows...that's all the proof I need.

My shepherd mix has a very bad stomach and had bad gas and diarrahea on a regular basis. She was already eating a sensitive stomach food so we decided to try adding the probiotics. Since then (I think it's been about three weeks) she hasn't had one bout of diarrahea and hasn't been as stinky. Her stools are still a little soft but much better than they had been so I am hoping the trend continues.

Godiva just seemed to have constant flatulence. Nothing wrong from my veterinarians testing and checkups. I started off with a small dose and it's enough to have cleared the flatulence problem.

Our one year old beagle, who comes from a very healthy line of beagles, was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. He got very sick, and only medication from the vet would help keep him stable with his digestive issues. Once we started this product and got off the meds, as well as being on a hypoallergenic diet, he has been great!
I really think it is one of the many natural ways to help our animals, getting at the root of the problem and not just covering up symptoms temporarily. Try it!!!

This is a great product for ALL dogs. My "granddog" has always had "tummy issues," but since we started using the plant enzymes/probiotics for her, she has not had any problems. I use this product for all my rescues and it really is beneficial!

I have a cat with Inflamatory Bowel Disease who HATES taking medicine. Pill Pockets only worked for a couple of days with percriptions. She hated the other powders that I tried and wouldn't eat anything if it had medicine of any kind hidden in or sprinkled on it. Within two days of using Plant Enzymes and Probiotics, her diarrhea stopped. I use it daily on dry food, and she has been fine for over a year.
