So far, so good. I've only been using this product for a month but it seems to be working. My dogs love the taste & I just mix it into their morning food.
My little 11 year old yorkie had very bad teeth and gums because I never could brush them very well. She ended up having most of her teeth pulled about a year ago and the vet said I must brush the teeth she had left. Knowing I would not do that I searched for something that would help and found ProDen PlaqueOff. I have been using it for about a year now and she has not had any more problems and her breath is still sweet and fresh. I will always use this for her and for any future doggy family members. I tell all of my animal lover friends about it and recommend it highly.

I never write reviews, but this product is effective, so I thought I'd share our experience. Our dogs (90 lbs. each) have never had their teeth brushed (I've known we should but it just doesn't happen) and on our last vet appt. the vet told us we'd need to do the dental cleaning for 1 of our dogs (quoted $400-700 depending on severity) because he had stage 4 periodontal disease and the other dog had stage 2.So, I thought maybe I'd try this first (per an online article about canine dental care): sure enough, we've been using this for 3 weeks and there is NO plaque on either of our dogs. We've not used a brush at all.It is very easy to use: we put 3 scoops (per weight based instructions, the scoop is very tiny by the way so this sounds worse than it actually is) on each bowl of food in the morning (after we poured the food in, otherwise the granules just stay on the bottom). I was surprised when the product first came because the bottle is so small (the 60gram one) but it has lasted (we have used half in 3weeks on our big dogs) and well worth the cost (compared to the dental cleaning at the vets).

I think that if I had been aware of this product before my cat developed gingivitis he would be much better by now. It is just that he is an older kitty 14.5 years old, and needs a tooth extracted. Even in his sad state, I did notice some improvement.

I have two cats. One of them seems to have stinky breath quite regularly. I found this product and starting using it daily and it really seems to be working---his breath is much less stinky.

I like this product because it is easy to give to my cats and they are very difficult. All I have to do is mix the suppliment in their food and they eat it with no problem.

My dogs don't get rawhide. This keeps their teeth clean. I have to double the dose to be effective and that gets pricey

I am so glad I found this product. My Chihuahua has had 6 teeth pulled by age 4. At the rate he was going he was going to lose 2 teeth a year. After his last extraction and teeth cleaning I discovered and began giving him this product. His teeth are cleaner, his breath is better and best of all he did not lose any teeth this year. I am so greatful for this product and would recommend using it. Your dog will thank you.

My new rescued kitty had terrible red gums and plaque buildup when I adopted him and his breath was funky. After only a month or two of this product his teeth improved a lot and his breath is fine. I'm reordering more.

I have 3 large dogs and 3 small dogs. All have been getting PlaqueOff for about 5-6 weeks now. I am starting to see that my dogs do have white teeth in their mouths. Their breath is much fresher and when they smile their pearly whites are looking pretty nice. I like this product and will continue it's use. It seems to work quite well.
Recommended by several users who were extemely happy with the results. Just started 3 weeks ago, and within 3 days of use, my dogs bad breathe was gone. We just completed a $200 dental and surely don't want to do that again for a long, long time. Really happy that other dog owners get the word out.

I have been using PlaqueOff for both of my dogs since they were puppies - about three years. They both have beautiful, white teeth. Using the product has resulted in less spent on dental cleaning bills and, the bonus is that neither of my dogs have doggy breath. My vet is amazed at the results especially since I don't brush my dogs teeth. I am constantly recommending PlaqueOff. I think it is fantastic!

This is a great natural preventative that really does help to clean the teeth. I have 2 dogs and one of them has tartar build up. This product has helped to remove some of that tartar. I combine this with the use of Petzlife Oral Care Gel which is applied directly to the teeth. PlaqueOff is put directly into their food once a day and although initially quite costly, the tub lasts quite a while as you only use 1 or 2 small scoops depending on the size of your pet. Great product!

I bought this product for my seven year old dachshund with really bad teeth. His teeth have always ben bad and have had to be cleaned by the vet every year. We are still waiting to see if the product works on him but it is definitely working on my aussie. Almost all the plaque is off his teeth! The only problem I've had is that if you add the product to your dogs diet to fast they will through up- this happened to both of mine. So I would recommend adding it very slowly to get up to the full dose, and add a little bit of water on top if your dog tries to eat around it as my dachshund did. But so far I have been impressed.

So far, I have been using Plaque Off for about 6 weeks, too early to tell the real results, but after using it for about 2-3 weeks I noticed an immediate difference in kitty breath. Both of my kitty's had stinky cat breath before, and now, nothing! So I would say so far, it definitely seems like it's working! Would definitely reccommend!

My experience is that the product really does work. I have a pug ...and it's very difficult to brush their teeth. I also don't like sedating my dog so I tried this product. It took about one month before I started to see a real difference and now his teeth look beautiful. I would definitely give it a try ...it's better than the alternative of sedating your pet.

Our just rescued 5 year old yorkie had teeth the vet described as "really bad" but our little sweetie pie was too anxious to have immediate care for her teeth. 2 months later her teeth look like they have already been cleaned! She still needs dental care for some very neglected back teeth but most of her teeth look white & healthy, and now her breath is kissable sweet! All dogs should use this product! Too bad this isn't available for humans!

My dog has really yellow teeth and terrible fishy smelling breath. Ive been using the product for about a month and have noticed that his breath is definitely better. The packaging says that it takes up to 8 weeks to see any change so Im going to keep using it and hoping to see (or smell) an even better result. I havent seen as much change in the tartar on my dogs teeth but will continue to use the product. Ill certainly update my review in another month! My dog doesnt seem to even notice the product is on his food--in fact, I think he likes his food more because I sprinkle this product on it.

I have two Shelties and they are know for problems with their teeth. After visiting the vet, I was told both need a good cleaning. I started them back on the ProDen PlaqueOff and the next time we went to the vet (about 3 months later) there was no mention of teeth cleaning. It takes time to start working, but it's been working well with my girls.

Clarence, my dog, is a small dog (11 lbs) and tends to develop a lot of tarter on his teeth. I started using this product to avoid having to send him for another teeth cleaning. I have been using this product since 2/09 and his teeth are now clean of tarter and his gums are almost a healthy pink again. I would recommend this product to any dog owner.

My cat has stomatitis. I was hoping this would help, but it doesn't seem to do anything for her. This was worth a try, though. Not everything works on everybody. I do recommend trying this if your cat has stomatitis, it may help your cat and is better than having all the teeth removed or to be constantly on steroids. It is easily palatable.

I began using this product on our new puppy because I had read the reviews and the product information and was curious. After a year, our now all- grown-up pup has absolutely no tartar build-up. Her teeth are as white and clean as when she was 6 months old when her new permanent teeth had grown in.
I was skeptical at first that anything could really work this well, and I am happy I was proven wrong. This product is a must-have. Our dog will never have to go through the stress of having a vet cleaning her teeth and dealing with the unhealthy effects of anesthesia.

Tartar east to remove with product daily use. Multi animal owner so use large container that has spoon that is difficult to find in container once the level is down to at least 1/2 full. Found it easier to remove to another container or end up spilling some/most of it on the counter while trying to turn the container to an advantage point. Nothing wrong with the product itself -just the packaging.

i am so excited i found this product. i have
six cocker spaniels. two have a little plague.
one who is 7 had severe plague. his gums were
red and very irriated. the tartar was very hard.
i could not imagine that this would work. i was
shocked. the plague got softer and softer and
fell off. it has only been 3 weeks. i concentrated
on the worse dog first to see if it worked. wow
does it. the other day he was able to chew on a
bone for a long time which he hasn't been able
to because his teeth and gums were so bad. i will
be getting more of this for all the dogs. thanks

ProDen PlaqueOff is amazing! I was skeptical this product would work, but within three weeks my 11-year old dog's breath was normal and her teeth getting whiter. Five weeks now and I can see a difference in the lessening of the plaque. There is no downside to using this product. It's simple - just put it in the dog's food. It's effective, long-lasting, and I will never be without it again.

My 12 yr old lab's teeth were getting brown. After using this product, 3 scoops a day, for 2 weeks, the brown is disappearing, & his mouth isn't as tender. I also give it to my 2 senior cats. None of them even seem to notice that it is on their food.

I brush the teeth of my four cats every other day with CET products, but their gums would still get red and inflamed, and their teeth got sticky with plaque between two brushings.
I started using ProDent as a supplement to brushing, and it works really well. My cats' breath is fresher, their gums are going back to normal, and it is even attacking older tartar on their back teeth.
Very easy to put the daily half-scoop in their food, however be careful not to use this with a cat that has thyroid issue, as the iodine contained in ProDent might make things worse.
Otherwise, great product!!

My cat Princess had Gingivitis extremely bad. I saw this while searching for something all natural for it. It is great. I saw results in just a little over 2 weeks. now her mouth doesn't seem to be in so much pain.

We have been using this product for about three months. We noticed a significant difference after about a month. Our dog Tia's breath was less offensive and her teeth were cleaner, even whiter. We are pleased with this product because we know it is working from the inside out. Dealing with the cause not just the symptoms of her problem with excessive plaque build up.

My husband and I were ready to take our six year old Samoyed, Mandy, to the vet for a dental cleaning. We were hesitant to do this because of the anesthesia, but her teeth were pretty dirty despite regular brushing. We've been using this product for almost three months, and there is a great improvement. Mandy's teeth look cleaner and whiter. We are very pleased, and will continue to use this product.

This stuff is great! and was recommended by my veterinarian. All you have to do is put a small amount in your pets food daily. This eliminates the need to brush or have your pet's teeth cleaned. The best thing about it is that it is at a very low price and lasts a long time. My dog's teeth are very clean due to the effectiveness of this product.

After my cats yearly check up at the vet we found that his gums were red and inflammed and he was at the beginning stages of gingivitis. The vet gave him an antibiotic which landed him in the hospital due to an allegic reaction. I ordered ProDen and after a several weeks his gums were back to normal. Our vet was was amazed and asked me for the name of the product I used so she could start giving it to her patients instead of prescribing antibiotics. We now used it on all 4 cats in our family and our dog. This stuff works!

Every time I bring my westie in for a check up the doctor always tells me that her teeth are not good and she needs to have them cleaned. I didn't take her in for a teeth cleaning the last time he told me I decided to try Pro Den instead. She just went in for her check up and the doctor said her teeth are not to bad and she didn't need to have them cleaned. I was very happy about that so I will continue to use Pro Den.

I can't say whether this product works or it doesn't, so, in fairness, I am giving it an average rating. I'm not saying it's dangerous, just that it is important to be careful, particularly if you have older cats, many of whom are prone to hyperthyroidism.
There is a small warning on the container about this product not being recommended for hyperthyroid animals, as it adds iodine into the diet, even with its small dose.
After giving my pets this product for less than two weeks, one of my older (12 years) cats, who was not hyperthyroid but had high normal levels of thyroid hormones, lost a great deal of weight and became frail and agitated. She recovered quickly after I stopped giving her this and added OptaGest (digestive enzymes) and alternating ONP cod liver oil and salmon oil in her diet instead. She is much healthier and happier now, but I am still searching for a safe plaque removal method for all of my pets.

I had been using a liquid tarter control product for over a year. That product was added to the dog's water. It wasn't making any noticeable difference, so I thought I would try another product. Within a few days of using ProDen I could see my dog's gums were not so red next to her teeth. Some days after that, I could see the plaque fading. It is really remarkable. And such a tiny amount is used daily in her dog food. As an added bonus, she really seems to like the taste. She eats now with more gusto than she ever did before ProDen. I am very happy with this product!

We have four Cavalier King Charles Spaniels - small dogs with big dental issues. The dogs range in age from eight years to three years. Pro Den Plaque Off really does cut down on the number of necessary dental cleanings. It isn't just that dental cleanings are expensive - they require anesthesia and that is just one more scary health issue for these little guys to have to face! Thank you Pro Den for making a really effective, easy to use product that makes a huge difference in the health of our dogs!

My 5 year old Corgi has a heart defect, and the vet won't give anesthesia for a cleaning without doing a bunch of tests. Eli's teeth were pretty grungy, and I didn't think I would be able to put off the dental visit(and all the prerequisite testing). After using this product for about 4 months, Eli's teeth and gums are 100% cleaner, and his breath is fresh. I am so pleased! It's so easy to use, and lasts a long time. Everyone should give this product a try.

This is the easiest and most effective plaque prevention product I've used - and I've used everything I could find. One of my dogs have severe tooth and gum problems despite daily brushing. PlaqueOff has kept the build-up on her teeth so low that My Vet is speechless - and he has over 20 years experience. What's doubly amazing is how easy it is to administer. Try this product. You won't regret it.

This is a great product! I bought ProDen PlaqueOff based on a recommendation from a friend and from the Only Natural Pet Store reviews...it really works! I use it for our 2 dogs and 3 cats and they have noticeably whiter teeth & nicer breath. It is more economical to buy the larger tub if you have numerous animals. It does last quite a while. It is a lot cheaper and less stressful for your animal companion than taking them for professional teeth cleaning. I will definitely keep on using it!

Our 11-year-old, recently-adopted Aussie came to us with very yellow teeth and bad breath. We have gone through one small container, administering according to the directions. Her teeth are now noticeably whiter, and her breath no longer clears the room. We'll keep using this product. It works and is easy to administer.

I have three cats, one male & two females. My male has gone through the wringer. Lost an eye to an ulcer caused from an upper respiratory infection, lost his teeth to a bad gum disease, and was already 'challenged' as he has those special six claws on each front paw! I had lost a female cat to that gum infection before I changed the diet to Wellness. In order to not watch that repeat itself, I also purchased the ProDen PlaqueOff, which I put in my female's food. For the male I use the Only Natural Pet Immune Strengthener. I watched him go through the tooth/gum issue to a point where he drooled 24/7, his tongue hanging out & dry, and his weight at an all-time low (the vets telling me he was dying of kidney disease soon), to him being a 9lb boy who no longer drools, plays again, gives kisses and hugs again, and looks better than ever! Yay!!! Finally a dental additive that my cat will tolerate. And it works! My vet had recommended Wysong's product, but picky boy turned his nose up at all attempts to add that to his food. I was becoming increasingly concerned about build-up on his teeth and decided to try PlaqueOff out of desperation. My cat is gobbling it down, and after just a couple of weeks, there has been SIGNIFICANT reduction of buildup and breath odor. Thanks, ProDen, for saving my geriatric feline from the surgery that might otherwise have been required.

I just got my dog's teeth cleaned when I saw PlaqueOff through the brochure. After reading the ingredients I decided to buy it. Unfortunately it's hard to do a review on this product because it takes a little while before you start to see results. It is easy to administer though, I just put a scoop in with her meal at night and she seems to not even notice the difference. I have been using it for a few weeks and do not notice any difference in her poopies.

When I adopted my 5 year old Irish Setter, she had really bad plaque build up. After using Plaque off for 2 months I could really see a difference in her teeth. This is much easier than brushing everyday and there aren't any side effects....I recommend it highly!

This is a great product. Our dog Henry isn't a fan of having his teeth brushed. We found that this product worked exactly as billed. Within a few weeks, we saw considerable improvement of his teeth.

My 7 year old cat has very bad gum disease, she has lost many teeth, and had several removed from vet. Brushing a cats teeth is nearly impossible. I tried everything and Proden Plaque off is the best. I just mix it in her food, she likes the taste and her teeth do look cleaner, her breath is nice and sweet smelling also. I have only used it 4 months. A bottle will last a long time for a cat, it takes only a tiny amount. I already see nice results and hope it will help make gums stronger also!

Bonnie age 11 had her teeth cleaned and not too soon after her gums started to get inflamed and her teeth changing color even though I was brushing them, not an easy task with her. Found this product and after using it in four months her gums are normal and her teeth are white with no discoloration at all. I had to look four times to make sure I wasn't seeing things since her teeth looked just like the pups. I give it to the one and two year old and the large bottle last four months for all three dogs.

I noticed dark plaque on the back teeth of my 4-year old Newfoundland, Goliath. I was certainly surprised since his other teeth looked great. I inquired about various treatments to get the plaque off and then started doing some research. I found PlaqueOff online but was a bit skeptical. A few days later I visited my favorite pet store and noticed it on the counter. I inquired about it and the owner said clients were raving about it. I purchased and tried it. After 2 months of usage, Goliath's back teeth look much better and when I took him to the vet, they were surprised to see so much plaque had dissolved. Thanks PlaqueOff! NOTE: This product is not for dogs undergoing treatment for Hyperthyroidism (and states so on the bottle).

I used this product on my dog who had plaque build up on her teeth that I was finding hard to get rid of by brushing alone. With in a couple of weeks I saw the plaque beginning to disappear. Also her breath didn't smell AT ALL. Amazing product.
