I am involved in dog rescue and have used this product on over 10 dogs all with different issues with great success. The first was a 1 year old boxer with IBS/Colitis, problem solved with 4 days. She would have no control of when she would have to go and it is completely under control since using this. Next was our 2 year old boxer with pancreatitis and he has not had any more flare ups or episodes for over 14 months, it also cut down on gassy problems with him. Next was our 9 year old boxer who we know has problems digesting food and had horrible breath. She now eats all her food and keeps it down without gettng sick and her breath has improved. We have used this on cases of diarrhea from many causes and it alleviates symptoms within 3 days. I swear by this product and always have it on hand not only for my own doggies but also for all the rescues. Never had any side effects with any of the dogs and that is wonderful because all of the prescription drugs were pretty severe and never really helped. Doggies say all paws up!!!!

My Rottweiler has struggled with vomiting as a result of Irritable Bowel Disease for several years now. I was at my wits end. Someone recommended your product and within 2 days of taking it my dog stopped vomiting. It is amazing!

GI Support has completely eliminated frequent & regular after meal vomitting/diarrhea and has also greatly improved our cat's mood. Our vet has identified some evidence of kidney disease in our 8 y.o. pet (one of 15 in our home) and a recent dental w/antibiotics exacerbated her symptoms. These are much improved, almost immediately. Problem: the caps are human-sized and a bit of a challenge when she performs "possessed" head rotations and becomes liquid in my grip. A little surprise & some moisture (like tuna liquid) applied to the cap makes it slippery and better tasting so it goes down easily. Thanks for a great remedy.

I wrote a glowing review about this product 13 months ago and just wanted to update it...My 5 year old Sphynx cat had terrible IBS/IBD issues..she almost died twice, I literally spent several thousand dollars trying to keep her alive with various tests, scans and extended hospital stays.
Once she started using the GI support in conjuntion with the super daily feline vitamins, the immediate changes were shocking..it was like flipping a light switch on..I am happy to say she is doing better than ever, in fact she is now a little on the chubby side.
No more Vet. visits other than the normal checkup.
I just open a capsule of GI support and pour half on her wet food...as well as crushing 2 vitamin tablets on the food...do the same thing in the evening..she has no problem with the taste.
This will be a life long routine.

I give my dog 2 capsules twice a day on top of her food. We got her diarrhea problems under control with this product. It's a bit expensive but so are trips to the Vet.

We have two adopted English Setters that we pamper with the finest of foods. One has had runny stools off and on, while the other has always been very consistent. I typically add Yams or sweet potato to their meals to help combat the loose stools. I tried this product awhile back, but didn't stick with it. I recently went back to it, and give it to both of them at every meal. Both of they're stools have been much firmer and consistent, although the one still has less frequent loose stools. I'm going to stick with it for longer to see if the results continue.

My little pug baby has terrible potty problems, she's either constipated or has diarhea and sometimes its so bad she would have to wear a diaper! I was so worried about her problems and the vets recommended enimas. Nothing seemed to work so I purchased this and within a day or two she was going regularly and without straining. My 14-year-old lab mix's digestive system was damaged from the prolonged use of conventional prescribed meds. Not only was he incontinent, but his stool was diarreal ALL THE TIME. I purchased GI support specifically for my female cat Chloe who was showing signs of IBD, however, it was discovered she also has lymphoma (slow growing and treatable, thank God). I believe that Chloe's tummy was so ulcerated that this product upset her. The other two cats seemed to be quite OK w/it ... but as you know ... can't give to the other two when I know Chloe will eat their food too! I'm sure it's a good product though and it was really easy to administer (the short time I used it).

When my cat was about 12 yrs old he was diagnosed with IBD. I was told that there was no cure but the disease could be managed. I got him the Vet recommend prescription cat food and he was put on low doses of prednisone. This was pretty effective for about 6 months - with only occasional bouts of diarrhea. Then the ‘plan’ stopped working. He lost about 30% of his weight – the vet and I worked together for a new remedy but nothing was working. I – out of sheer desperation – looked online for other people with the same problem. I, thankfully, found Only Natural Pet Store and this product. He we from 8 pounds to a healthy 12 pounds over the course of a few years. Mau is now 17 years old and has done incredibly well until an age related issue developed recently. In determining the current issue an Ultra Sound was done that helped pinpoint the current problem but a very positive result was that the ultra sound also showed no evidence of the IBD. His Vet was a bit amazed. I can’t say he is ‘cured’ – maybe he is – I don’t know, but I can say that changing his diet to cooking for him (tilapia or chicken with the GI support added and vitamins) has obviously, at the very least, controlled what would have surely ended his life years ago. Now I am looking to Only Natural Pet Store for something to help with the beginning stages of a kidney issue. He’s 17 and quite a happy guy and I have no doubt that he will be that way for quite a while longer.

I started my dog on a raw diet because he has IBS and all of the commercial dog food bothered his belly. He's doing well on the raw food diet, but the gas was BAD! I read that the GI support helps with gas and IBS difficulties and it does! Zach no longer has constant gas and he doesn't seem to mind the taste of the capsules (we open and sprinkle on his food)and I am very happy with this product!

My older small dog has been sick for some time with some sort of digestion problem, lots of tummy noise and grass eating, sometimes throwing up as well, sick and low energy at times, as well... no answers from the vet or results from diet change alone, now she has been on this product for a little while and so far, so good! We shall see, hoping for a long time with no tummy problems!

Had this product on hand from a cat with IBD, and it did not work for her. Found out it helped with vomiting as well so I started using it on one of the dogs. Everyday we came home to vomit on the carpet, just bile and grass. Since using this there is no more vomit. No mess to clean up! Working great so far and going on 2 months.

Fantastic product! As with any herbal remedy it does take time to reach its full potential. Don't expect results immediately. I started my dog out with the smallest dose for his size and then gradually increased it. He use to go through periods of not wanting to eat, diarrhea, and upset stomach. He has been taking this product since 10/2008 and is doing a lot better.

This product has been amazing. My nearly 8 year old lab has occasionally had some GI issues, nothing to major though. My 4 year old English bulldog had bad diarrhea for several weeks, so I ordered GI Support. After about two weeks of being on it, his stool started getting firmer and he stopped getting me up in the middle of the night to go out. I'm not sure, though, if I will keep him on it because today he would not have a bowel movement after 27 hours of not going. Either he's all cleaned out or he's having the opposite effect. I'll see what has happened after I get home from work. Still, GI Support has been great when nothing else worked.

i adopted a rescue that had alot of issues with his teeth and then his intestinal system. He has had diarrhea on and off since i've had him. My 6 yr. old cat Birdie has had IBD for about a year and has lost about 40% of her body weight. She has all the classic symptoms and we've tried everything. We couldn't figure out what was going on with our 11 year old dog. Swallowing a lot, smacking his lips, and just standing in the hallway for minutes at a time. My 4 year old Sphynx cat has had IBD/IBS issues for two years now. she would just stop eating every two to three months and need hospitalization for fluids and force feeding... the only thing that would bring her back was flagyl.
Until I started using this product along with the super daily vitamins offered by Only Natural Pet.

I have a 13 year old cat that has had Irritable Bowel Disease (IBD) since I adopted her at 5 years of age. I have tried many products out there with no success. She did not like Purina's Forti-flora and would not eat her food when I added it. Only Natural Pet GI Support has helped immensely. Her stools are no longer loose. The capsules are very easy to open, so I just sprinkle it on the food. She must like the taste because she eats her food with no problems. I would highly recommend this product for any animals with GI issues.

I have a 16 year old cat who suffers from inf lammatory bowel disease. This product has totally cured her diarrhia and has lessened her bouts of vomiting. The capsules are easy to seperate, so I mix the powder in her canned food every night. She is a really picky eater but does not mind the taste of the powder. I would highly recommend this product!

My 14 yo kitty was diagnoses with Inflammatory Bowel in April, and I was told he would likely need to be on daily steroid treatment for the rest of his life. Changing his diet to Avoderm Canned food, and 1 capsule of Pet GI support seems to have resolved his problems. He has not had another flare up, has regained weight to a normal level, and does not have the loud bowel sounds he did previously. I'm very happy to have found this natural treatment for my pet.

My dog had many parasites when I adopted him as a puppy that, in essence, burned out the insides of his instestines and left permanent damage. Vets, though they tried, could offer no solutions to his issue, which caused me at least once a week to be up and down every half hour, all night long, letting him in and out to go potty. It was miserable for both of us, and other than this one thing, he was the picture of health, according to my vet. The only thing they could offer was prednisone, which is a nightmare on a dog or human body.
So I tried the supplement (I take supplements, so why not my dog!?), along with mixing in some raw food as recommended on this site, and voila - within a couple of months, my dog was doing great. We almost never have one of the all-nighters anymore - I can't recall the last time that happened. Dog and person are very happy!

Our European-bred German Shepherd Dog, Bear, had "hershey squirt" issues after being outside. Being the sniffer/licker that he is, we never knew when it would strike. I use the GI support for my 20-month old dog who has had stomach issues since the day I got him. I started using it months ago and it helped; but in trying to determine the source of his issues, I stopped using the product. Two weeks ago, he had a very serious bout of diarrhea, no eating, weight loss, and lethargy due to an intestinal bacteria. The vet also said he might have IBD, an intestinal bacteria overgrowth, or not able to pass his food through properly. Last week I started him on the GI support again and he is doing 85% better already!! He has more firm stool, less straining, and it appears he is digesting and absorbing his food properly. I sprinkle it on his food at each meal and mix with chicken broth or warm water. He will stay on GI support for as long as I can afford it! It's a little pricey (but not as pricey as the vet visits and suggestions), and it works better than anything else I've tried.

I bought this GI Support for my two Ragdoll cats.
They've always had sensitive tummies. My female kitty would vomit intermittently --- every 3-5 days. My male cat would sometimes vomit his entire dinner less than one hour after eating.
Since I've started using this prodcut, both have impoved tremendously.
I used to use Metagenics Gastriplex, but I switched to this GI Support. The ingredients were all the same --- with the exception of three additional ingredient that GI Support has.
I love this product and have told my sister about this product already.

This is a life saver! MY 11 year old maltese had been sick since last fall.. I had ever test imagionable done on him. He has been on the most hypo allergenic food there is and still was throwing up daily. I saw this stuff ordered it and had shipped the fastest way and got it.. The very first day he quit throwing up!!!! And I am now just sprinkling it straight in his mouth before he eats and he likes it. I give him around a cap and a half.. And he is acting like a new puppy.. He is feeling great for the first time in almost a year. I have only had him on this for a week. but the change is like night and day. I have 2 Goldens...one that was having chronic loose stool that was rather unpleasant (to say the least!). The other one only occassionally. I started using it with both of them & it has worked about 95% with the lesser affected dog & about 80% with the one that was having the chronic problem (whose stool samples were negative of any parasites, worms, etc prior to starting the GI Support). The nice thing is that it clears up much quicker than it did before I started using it & she is struggling much less & I am very pleased by that!

Sami has had IBD for most of her life. She was impossible to feed because her tummy was so sensitive. About a year and a half ago she became so ill with her IBD she nearly died. Nothing seemed to work and the Vet had given up hope of her ability to survive. I started her on GI support and Sami, a Maltese that weighed only 5 pounds and was near death, now weighs nearly 8 pounds and has been on GI Support ever since. The Vet finally advised me to "continue whatever it was I was doing because whatever it was, it was working".

My dog has a host of medical conditions: exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, protein-losing enteropathy (PLE), food allergies, etc. - basically anything related to the gut she has. She was put on steroids for the PLE and the allergies because she had bad gas, digestive problems, and diarrhea. (She actually got bloat from these conditions once - luckily she wasn't twisted!) I wanted to do further testing and get her off the steroids, so they put her on Metronidazole (an antibiotic) to control the symptoms while we were waiting to do the test. Since I'm also not thrilled with long-term antibiotic use, I wanted something else. I discovered this product and it works better than the steroids or the antiobiotics! It took a little bit longer for this to have an effect, but I would highly recommend this product! I'm even recommending it to my vet for their other clients!

This is an excellent product. I've got a nervous dog with a voracious appetite for anything stinky. A a result, we had monthly bouts of nightly leaky bowls. I give this to my dogs with peanut butter right before their meals. It has allowed me to switch from the vet's recommended food to a higher-quality food. Before this supplement their stomachs were too sensitive for anything too high in protein wich was unfortunate. Now I know they're getting everything they need, they're calmer (maybe because their stomachs don't hurt as much,) and the yard is less of a mess!

This product has really helped my dogs. One of them was a rescue and has always had stomach issues. Nervous, occasional vomiting and diarrhea. Possibly IBS too. This product has really helped him and it is easy to administer. I just put the whole capsules in his food and he eats away. I was reluctant at first to try this, but am so glad that I did. I will continue to use this product. It is a little expensive, but worth it!

My dog Stuart (collie/shepard mix) was having frequent bouts of colitis that did not correlate with type of food, activity, etc. I was able to get him on a diet where he stopped having mucusy stool, but was still having soft stool. This product has given formed stools, but based on weight he needs to take 4 capsules a day, so the one bottle for [$]lasts only one month.Other than that it has been a godsend.

My 2 year old Great Dane was so skinny, it looked like we were starving him! He was so full of energy and ate everything we gave him (8 cups of food a day), but he would not put on weight and every bowel movement was "p**p soup". We tried adding Prozyme to his food, but it didn't help. After some research, I changed his food to a low protein, higher grain food and started adding GI Support. What a huge difference! It took almost a month of starting the product, but now he has formed, and scoopable, stool and he's put on weight! I don't know what I'd do without GI Support!

I don't know WHY this product works but it does. My cat has IBD - he was losing weight - none of the treatments (special food) and medicaton worked long term. I started making his food (Chicken or Tilapia) and mixing a capsule in with the food.(Open the capsule and sprinkle on the food and mix well) He has gone from a low of 8.5 lbs. to over 11 lbs. While not 'curable' this product has made the illness manageable. Almost a miracle...

After 3 months on prednisone which was working to keep him eating and bowels sorta ok, I decided to see if there was anything I could give my cat to take him off the prednisone. This product is it!! We have been on it 1 1/2 years now and my cat has been living a healthy normal life and gained about 4 pounds since. Stools are completely normal. I am so thankful to have found this for I didnt want to keep my cat on a prescribed medicine for too long fearing it may cause other health problems down the road. This is wonderful stuff! And I am feeding him fancy feast also....chicken only please he says!!!!:)

My dog, Kissie is a two year old chocolate lab who is exuberant and a bit high strung. Last year, just before Christmas she started a pattern of jumping, racing around, and then vomiting whenever I let her in the house. The vet drew blood, put her on antibiotics and laxatives and talked about some expensive and invasive tests if she didn’t improve. About a week or so later I received your catalog and decided to try the GI support product, couldn’t hurt, might help. Results were almost immediate. The vomiting stopped completely and now, after 8 months, a capsule is part of our daily routine. It seems that the problem was simply a nervous stomach that flared up with excitement. Thanks for such an effective product that saved us a lot of aggravation. I plan to continue use of the product indefinitely.

My 4 year old Corgi has had GI problems since he was a puppy. I have spent hundreds of dollars at the vet and many trips outside in the middle of the night due to his upset bowels.(Not to mention cleaning up plenty of accidents). I have been using this product for about a month, and it is amazing! No GI upsets, no trips out in the middle of the night. His bowel issues have disapeared completely! This is the best stuff!

I would highly recommend this product. My 11-month old shih-tzu has been in and out of the vet since I got him last November for vomitting, allergies, diarehea, gastritis; you name it, he has gotten it. The vet told me that he might suffer from IBS. Since I have started these pills for Brosco, knock on wood, his stool has been normal and he hasnt had any diarehea or gastritis issues. It saves me money from not constantly bringing him to the vet when he has stomach issues. I love it and will keep buying this product for Brosco.

Our 9 year old Golden Retriever, Oscar, was diagnosed with terminal cancer in May of this year, and at the time of the diagnosis he could barely raise his head. Like many other adoring dog owners, we began an intensive program of homecooking special foods, etc. This helped for awhile, and, yes, Oscar was able to resume his every other day 3-mile walk that delighted him. However, eventually, he lost interest in the foods or he became unable to digest them, and my husband and I were at a loss. Then, during one of his walks, Oscar began to chew on particular leaves of young growing trees, and I intuitively allowed him to continue. For two weeks he ate these leaves, and his strength was again renewed. Our dog loving friends were fascinated as he began to look healthy again. Our vet was fascinated, too, as he found it unbelievable that not only could Oscar continue his walks, but that he was still alive. After researching the leaves with a specialist from a nursery, I learned that they were leaves from young elm trees (some variety). I researched further and learned about slippery elm extract, and searched for a dog friendly product. [...] I was delighted to read through the products and find one containing slippery elm extract. Since beginning to ingest these supplements, Oscar no longer is interested in eating the young elm tree leaves! He is now able to eat again, and continues to rebuild and strengthen his health. I won't tell you how much I spent trying to get Sami well after she developed what I thought was her first bout of severe IBD. Come to find out, she had had bouts of the disease all of her life and her Vet had treated her with the most radical of therapies including what I likened to Chemotherapy. I was at my witts end. I had had Sami, a darling 10 year old Maltese, for only six months following the passing of her original owner and was totally unaware of her medical problems. I had almost given up after six more months of constant, severe IBD problems. Nothing helped. The treatments, tests and medications as well as the "special diets" were fast taking me to the poorhouse and watching her get thinner and be in such discomfort was unbearable.. After the last visit to the Vet in May, I ordered GI Support for Sam. Within a few weeks, things began to improve. In all fairness, Sami does suffer from separation anxiety and I did go back to work shortly before she became ill so no doubt that contributed to her condition. I have since elected to work from home so that plus GI support has Sami's tummy back in shape. Another symptom Sami had, whether I left her alone or not, was a bad appetite. She was a picky eater, had to be hand fed most of the time and would not eat the same food twice. The big problem now is she wants to eat everything in sight and all of the time. She has gained back all of the weight she lost while she was ill. I can't tell you how good it is to see her happy and feeling good. Thank you for GI Support. Oh, and I can leave Sami home once in a while now without her becomming ill. I am extremely grateful and a believer. Now Sami and I are both easier to live with.

Our Samoyed has had digestive problems for close to a year. She frequently had diarhea and went from 65lbs (a little overweight) down to 32lbs. We've tried changes in diet, blood tests, and a biopsy until our vet didn't know anything more to do. After starting Only Natural Pet GI Support about a month ago, she has gained weight and is now up to 37 lbs (still a little low). We were worried we would lose her but she's doing much better now.

We've been struggling with our dogs' stools for years, literally. One day it's perfect, the next it might be total mush and impossible to pick up. Although they are both on a natural raw diet, their digestive systems were unable to fight off upsets from the slightest irregularity. They each needed to be taken to the emergency vet on one occasion. They've been on GI support for about one month and we've only seen loose stools a couple of times. Each incident resolved itself by the next day without any intervention on my part. They are gaining weight and thriving!

My dog has always had GI problems. This product has change his life. He no longer has loose stools and a continuous upset stomach. It also helps his skin allergies and ear problems. He will be on this for the rest of his life. I wish I had found it earlier.

My 2 small dogs have displayed IBS symptoms since they had a bout of Giardia nearly 9 months ago. I have tried all types of high quality food and tried to add bulk to their diet. They are a long-haired breed and this frequent diarrhea lead to almost daily baths (sometimes twice daily on a bad day). Natural Pet GI support has been the only product that has helped. I was shocked to see a change within a couple days and now after several weeks, their symptoms have nearly resolved. I have not seen any side effects at all.
Recently we brought home a new dog and I started him on Natural GI support for a few days to help with the food transition with great success. This is a great product to try for any pet experiencing chronic or occassional GI distress.

I give this product to my Italian Greyhound with IBD on a daily basis in conjunction with other natural supplements. I can't say for sure, but since she's been on this regimen, I haven't had to give her the drugs that her vet gave her, and only give those when she has a bad flare-up.

My 4yr. old Labrador Retriever has had intestinal distress for most of her life partially due to her medications. Other supplements did not help her as well as this one. I highly recommend GI Support to any dog on a drug therapy that causes an unbalance in the digestive tract!

GI Support is the BEST! I have an older dog that has loose stools consistantly, but a two pills with each meal and he is one happy dog and I am one happy owner.
I also have a younger German Shepherd that got Giardia. The medicine we received from our wonderful vet not only killed the bad bacteria in his system, but also the good bacteria. I tried everything, ONLY GI SUPPORT would get him back on track with his intestinal system.
If your dog has ANY intestinal issues this is the product to use. There are NO side effects, only GOOD results for my happy pets. I wouldn't live without it.

I first started using the GI Support on my dog, because he had horrible chronic diarrhea, no matter what brand of high quality food I fed him. Within 24 hours of administering 4 capsules, he had his 1st normal bowel movement. My mother's dog had the opposite condition: constipation. Same outcome (no pun intended)...by the next day he had a normal bowel movement. But the real success story is my geriatric cat: Last January, she suddenly began to vomit after every meal, which caused her to become quite lethargic, while rapidly losing weight. Ever since I began giving her the GI Support, her symptoms have disappeared. I encapsulate the product into size "3" gelatin capsules (much easier to put down the throat of a small cat), and use a "pill popper" to administer 1st thing in the morning. The product seems to coat her stomach, because now she can eat all day long, and she NEVER gets sick. No one believes she is almost 20 years-old! The herbs in this product really work.

I have used Thorne Gastriplex in the past; I prefer Only Natural GI Support: the ingredients are comparable but more complete.
This product was very helpful as I transitioned my Golden, who has often manifested IBS-like symptoms, to Nature's Variety raw diet. He transitioned very quickly and without any problem.
