This product has really helped my choc lab gain back his hair after a terrible bout with allergies. He lost at least 50% of his hair and had open sores all over due to itching 24-7. Along with top quality food, probiotics and enzemes and this oil, it does the trick for my Luke! He now is "the picture of health" and his hair came back a rich,glossy brown and so soft! I own a white boxer and he seems to be allergic to everything: grass, certain foods and treats, too much sun, you name it. He has had some bad skin problems since he was a small puppy and for the last year, I've tried a lot of different products including antibiotics from the vet and benadryl allergy pills. Within a few weeks of using this oil mixed with his regular food, I've already noticed a huge difference in his skin. I love it and will continue to buy this great product!!!

The pump sprayer is great and easy to use. They claim that it has no odor, that isn't true. My dog smells like salmon and has salmon breath. I will deal with the smell though because this product has helped his allergies virtually disappear. Also his coat was thin and wiry, now it is much thicker and softer. Not to mention the health benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids.

I found this to be easier to use then the gel caps that I had to stick a needle in, and squeeze the oil out. It is not messy, and has a taste cats love. Do cut back on the food intake slightly, for my cat did gain a little more weight. It helps keep his coat look nice and shinny.

I use this product daily for my 14 month old German Shepherd Dog to treat demodectic mange. We put it on our dogs food twice a day. They get so excited for breakfast and dinner now. When the bottle comes out of the frig they know it is time to eat. Our Lab was the one with dandruff and constant itching. We wanted to take care of it naturally and that is how we found this website. WE ordered it, tried it and will never be without it. Our Dachshund Luci came down with Cushings Disease. The medication she has to take caused large patches of her fur to just fall out. My puppy had juvenile pyoderma and ear infections when I got her. Nothing would really work until I found Natural Pet Salmon Oil and in just a few weeks it all went away. I am positive it was the Salmon Oil and she loves the taste. I just squirt it on her food. She thinks it's a treat. Great product.

I squirt this product on my dogs food in the morning. It really helps with the shedding problem, and for older dogs, it is beneficial for inflamation. My Beagle and my Lab/Pit mix are normally very bristly, but with the Salmon Oil they are soft and silky. One word of caution: It is high in calories, like all oils, so monitor your pet's weight. You may have to cut the food intake down a little bit.

I use Salmon oil for my 3 Shiba Inu dogs. 2 are puppies and one is 14 yrs old. They love the taste and there coats are thick, healthy & glow with shine. My vet told me she has never seen shiba Inu coat so thick and beautiful. I highly recommend the oil

I have a 12 year old german shepherd with arthritis. She is very responsive to Omega 3's. I use this oil on her food every day. She is bouncy and and active and even runs around a bit with our younger dog. I am really grateful that this is so effective.

My labradoodle was diagnosed with masticatory myositis, an inflammation of the jaw, last year. Steroids worked, but there were so many side effects, and I wasn't comfortable leaving him on it long term, then I found ONPS Salmon Oil.
My vet was very pleased with the ingredients and I have been able to keep my 2 year old off of steroids without a relapse.
He loves the taste of this salmon oil so much, he won't eat his food, until I've put the oil on top. It's very mild smelling and unless he's breathing right on you, you can't smell much of anything on his breath, either.

My cats never would eat anything that was even touched by salmon oil in the past, but this oil does not have the terrible fishy smell and taste that they despise. When I add this to their wet food and add a little warm water and mix real good, they have no problem eating it. I wasn't very hopeful when I ordered it, but I was pleasantly pleased to find that they didn't turn up their noses to this oil.
I have multiple cats, so to make sure the seniors get the proper dose of salmon oil, I use a syringe (without a needle, of course) and mix with a little wet food and water and squirt in their mouths and they take it very well without a fight.

I use the Only Natural Salmon Oil as a supplement for my senior dog's raw food diet, and it has been so much easier to use than I thought it would be. I have a senior cat who is suffering from liver disease and feline CRF. While feline CRF could be more manageable by administering daily medication, managing the liver situation had been difficult because medication for CRF can stress out already bad liver, and my cat can get nauseated often. More over, there had been a lot of ups and downs every day, and one day she'd been feeing very well and the next day she'd be down (and she wouldn't eat when she'd be down and feel nauseated). My doctor recommended me that I use Omega-3 Fatty Acid since it can help liver health and may help her feel a little better, so I purchased this product and have been using it for a month and my cat can't be any better. My cat's day to day health is more stable these days and she's eating a lot every day (which is very important for a cat with both of these diseases), and she looks much brighter than she used to be. I would definitely recommend this product for older cats, especially the cats who have liver disease.

I have a yellow lab mix. Her hair started falling out and her skin got very dry and scabby where the hair was falling out. I took her to the vet and he ran a lot of tests, but said there was nothing wrong with her. He put her on 3 different antiobiotics. Her hair started growing back a little bit but after she stopped taking the antiobiotics her symptoms came back after about a month. I tried this procduct and her hair was growing back within the first two weeks and her skin is not as dry. I give her this product on bread with some peanut butter and she absolutley loves it. Her shedding has also dramatically decreased. When u would touch her before using this product u would get a handful of hair, now she barely sheds at all. I will continue to use this product.

I just squirt this on my dogs food, they both love it and won't even eat the food without it anymore. both of their coats are shinny and they always feel like they just got a bath. I was going by "three cats" but we are now up to seven inside cats, plus a feral we are feeding. I bought the oil to give to our very long-haired young male (3 years) because he was scratching and biting ALL the time and had sores and bare patches all over his body. I began to give the oil in his food. He doesn't particularly like the taste but does eat some and it seems to be enough to be taking care of the problem. He still grooms a lot but his sores are gone and his hair is growing back and the salmon oil is the only change we have made so we give it credit for the healing. I give it to all the cats, sometimes, just because if feel it can't hurt and is probably good for them. Was giving it every day but now just do it a couple of times a week and all is still well with the "problem" kitty.

I got an abused dog min. pincher chihuahua mix. She had very dry skin and as a black dog had white flakes all the time. At first the oil gave loose bowel because I think I put too much. Then she was ok after adjusting the amount and coat looks beautiful. No more flakes. I add to the dry food first then mix it prior to adding wet food to it.

I am fighting allergies here, and decided to try an oil with a good dose of Omega 3's. It's too early to say the allergies have cleared up, and I can't claim that if they have,they're due to the salmon oil, since I'm trying multiple things at once. However, I CAN say that this salmon oil is very palatable to the dogs, and does NOT smell, so I will continue to use it, regardless of whether it helps with the allergies or not.

Bought product for a friend who owns a Pekingese. Her dog had a great deal of itchiness and some hot spots. This oil not only seems to have cleared up the skin problems, but also gave the Peke a lot of energy. There does seem to be a residual smell on her dog's breath....but that seems to be a small price to pay for such good results.

I feed my English Bulldog a raw diet and this product was recommended by the breeder as a supplement. The breeder noted that this was the best form of cold-pressed salmon oil that she had been able to find on the market. I bought it when it was on sale. I am very happy with the product. This is a wonderful product! If you've ever had cats OR dogs that get dry skin, you need to try this oil. I have 4 cats and 1 dog and I put the oil in all of their foods. I've seen noticible improvement as far as our dog, Daisy, who is a Vizsla goes. I've had this type of dog in my family throughout my childhood and I always remember them getting dandruff especially in the winter. With this oil as part of her diet, I've seen little to no dandruff in her coat.
For my cats, it has made their coats shiney and sleek while helping with two of my cats' skin issues (though it has not cured it but they do have allergies, so I understand).
I would call this the number one pet cure for winter dry skin!

The vet recommended a fish oil supplement for my lab who was experiencing "itchy" skin in the late summer months. I tried some cheaper products, but found them to smell bad and give him bad breath. He loves this product and it seems to help when the weather gets really dry. The only negative thing I would say is, you have to watch for loose bowels. I don't give the full recommended dose.

I use it for my 4 pets. I have one 10 yr.s old lab and one 1 yr. old pitbull mix. Even before finishing the first bottle, I can see the obvious change of my lab's coat. She used to shed a lot before using this product. Now, her fur is softer, shiny and no shedding. I used to use other kind of omega 3 oil, my cats, especially Oscar, the 10 1/2 yr. old is very picky. He hated the odour and he would not even eat his food if I mixed it with that product. But this salmon oil does not have odour. He eats all his food with it. I put this in my dogs food every day and have for about 2 years. His coat is gleaming with shine and he loves the fishy flavor. The old formualation was so smelly, but the new version is scentless and much better. Be careful not to use too much as it will create loose stool so use as directed on the label. Also store with a small napkin or plate under it b/c it can leak and be a fishy, sticky mess!

We've been using this product since Christmas Eve 2008, for every feeding. Although it takes time to notice a difference. Our AmStaff's skin and coat are shiny and looking healthier. We combine this with the ONP Super Daily Vitamins + Skin & Coat. Although it smells a bit fishy our dog enjoys the taste when mixed with his vitamins. The bottle would work better if it came with a pump, for all sizes. It does tend to drip on the sides after each use.

I bought this item because it was listed in the "New Puppy" gift box and noticed it was also good for cats. I don't think I will ever do without this product again.
For our Vizsla puppy, it helped with the winter month dry skin and to give her coat an extra bit of shine. It also had the added bonus of making her enjoy her food even more! She LOVES the taste of it. It helps keep her out of the cat food. 8)
For our cats (2 with skin dryness/allergy issues), it took away the dryness and dandruff. I finally saw my fluffy cat begin to grow hair back on his belly! He's been bald around his tummy forever from over-fastidious cleaning due to itchiness and now he's all fluffy again! My non-allergy non-dryness issue cat has the most beautiful blue coat ever. My female hasn't done her twitchy over-cleaning at all.

Our Cairn Terrier had severely dry, flaky skin, esp. in the colder months, and would gnaw at herself constantly. After talking with our vet, we decided to try this oil to see if it would help her--and it did! No more gnawing or flakes and her coat is shiny and soft as well. The only downside is that her breath smells a little fishy, but most dogs are not known for their fresh-smelling breath anyway!

I use two pumps on my dogs evening kibble. As a finicky eater, this oil has been a lifesaver. He likes it! And it really has helped with the luster of his coat and I have noticed a marked reduction in his itching. The only drawback is he smells a little fishy. I use this supplement on both my 12-year-old dog and my 6-month-old pup as an adjunct to dry food and along with other supplements. Both dogs like it very much.
The product really does improve your dog's coat. My pup had just a few dandruff-like flakes, while my older dog's coat has always been on the dry side and she's always had a lot of flakes. The coats of both my dogs improved immediately with this fish oil, and my older dog's coat is now almost as shiny as the puppy's.
An important asset of this fish oil is that it is extremely high-quality and I don't have to worry about mercury levels in the fish from which the oil is derived.

I told my vet I was planning to get some and she said that she really believed in it. This is the cheapest one I could find in my search. My dog hasn't had any itching problems, but whatever she's allergic to wasn't bothering her when I started giving this to her. I'm sure it's still healthy for her in any case.

I followed directions per weight and mixed into my four-legged owner, an middle aged cat and he hates it on his food (which isn't unusual for him). I spoon feed the daily amount per his weight and he likes it and I've been doing this for 3 1/2 weeks will have to see if his fur, dry skin changes...

I have 2 female American bulldogs, both have allergies. The younger one, almost 2 years old, has inflammatory bowel disease and we are treating it with steroids. She started to have, what appeared to be a slight recurrence with the vomitting, and my vet and I decided to treat it naturally with including Omega fatty acids in her diet - which has anti-inflammatory properties. This product seems to be working. My dog was scratching like crazy. The vet suggested salmon oil. I decided to go ahead and give it to my cat as well. She seems to enjoy it too. I started putting a few squirts in my 11 year old chihuahua'a food for his food allergies and he no longer stratches and licks all the time. His stomach issues seem to have all but disapeared as well. As an added bonus his coat is very soft. He is an extremely picky eater and neither the taste nor the smell affects him at all. This product is effective in making my Labrador Retriever's coat shiny and soft. I was skeptical at first since I have tried other remedies that have not worked very well. I also wanted a "natural" product I could use instead of having to take him to the Vet every few months for expensive treatments. After a few days of administering it to my dog I noticed a difference right away. His skin cleared up and his fur now feels silky soft. Shedding has also decreased considerably. His abdomen is now pink and free of hot spots. I add the oil each day to his food. He loves the taste and the oil leaves no foul odors. I would recommend this product for treating and preventing hot spots, scratching and excessive shedding. His coast never looked better.

I have noticed a HUGE turnaround on my pug's skin - almost all of the bumps, scabs, and irritated spots have disappeared. This product is very easy to administer, and my dog loves the way it tastes. The only drawback is that it makes my pug smell like fish all the time!! Even with regular baths and teeth cleaning, he has fish-breath and smells like eau-de-fish cologne all the time. I don't mind because I know his skin is getting healthy, but it can be a bit much at times! However, the smelly drawback is totally worth the great results!!!!

The product is great and it comes in a spun metal bottle. We all know that storing edible products in plastic is a no-no, and glass is fragile, especially dangerous with an oily bottle. These metal bottles are so beautiful, lightweight! I give them a good wash, run them through the dishwaser, and save them to use for other things.
The pump makes it really easy to administer the right amount of oil, too.

Administer this product daily to cats and dogs. Both have noticeable increases in energy. It is most noticeable in the changes in our cats coats. They became much softer and shinier than before using the salmon oil. We also have one cat with one functioning kidney who is very sensitive to diet changes - affected him very little. Since Omega 3s are anti-inflamatory in nature we hope it is helping his kidney function as well.
Price wise it beats purchasing capsules and is very reasonable for a liquid. Also it has no other added ingredients and it offers a breakdown of the ratios of DHA to EPA.

This is a great product. My cat suffered from some kind of food allergy, so he was chewing off his fur and was bald in many spots. The vet was absolutely useless and just wanted to give the kitty horrible dry food and cortosone shots. Thankfully, I found someone who mentioned that cats are usually allergic to grains and not a specific protein. So I did a lot of research on the Internet and upgraded his food, which helped a lot, but didn't quite work. I tried a few other remedies that didn't work and finally started him on Salmon Oil, which absoultely did the trick. He's got the fullest, most silky coat now and no bald spots!! I particularly like this product because it doesn't have a scent (some of the others smell like fish... eeewww). More importantly, the kitty loves it. We give it to him once/day and it's been a lifesaver. The only minor complaint I have is that, even the smallest bottle, is too much for one cat and I end up throwing it out before it's finished because I don't think it keeps forever (we keep it in the fridge).

This oil has no smell. My dogs are picky about certain foods with strong odors and this oil really doesn't smell. I use it daily in their food and their coats look great. I have a greyhound with a sensitive stomach and he has no trouble with this added to his food.
I do sometimes have trouble getting it in the bowl when the oil gets low in the bottle, but all in all the pump is much easier than having to measure.

We started taking Omega-3 simultaneously, finally. I don't see/feel any difference in my own health but in my dog I can see his coat is more lustrous and he also is eating every meal now whereas he'd been indifferent to his "senior" food before I'd treated it with the completely odorless (to me) salmon oil. I only wish the pump were in a thinner spray so it would mix better with his kibble but it's easy enough to stir around.

I had difficulty administering the salmon oil. First, I tried mixing the oil with her canned food. it did not work. Next, I had to administer the oil twice a day, half a dose each time and mix it with her treats and this time it works. Her fur feels smooth, I notice less shedding and I hope the shedding will go away. She is a Siamese medium haired cat. I am indeed happy with the product.

I have become quite picky with the oils I will feed my dogs. I will only use salmon oil, if I use it, from the Atlantic Ocean. The oils are purer there than from Pacific coast salmon. I won't use any more Pacific salmon because they aren't as free of toxins. This is a great product, well accepted by all dogs. I have just started to use other oils with better nutritive qualities. I would still recommend this to others, though, that choose to use it.

Omega 3 Fatty Acids are so important to an animal's diet. ONP just did it right, and made it easier! It's wild-caught cold water salmon, the very best source for Omega-3. I have used other salmon oil and omega supplements with our dogs, but this is the best. Within 2 weeks our Cavalier's thin fine coat is so thick and soft, our 5 mos. old Golden retriever puppy has stopped scratching which he's done because of the dry cold weather, and our 11 year old Golden's coat is sleek and shiny - not greasy as it has been in the past. There is absolutely no smell that I can notice and they seem to love it much more than the other kind. I think the addition of the Vitamin E helps too. The bottle seems to last & last - with 3 dogs I was afraid it would be too expensive and it certainly isn't.

I bought this product because of my dog's significant dry skin problem (skin flakes and dry, scaly patches). Each day, I give him a few pumps of the oil mixed in with his dry kibble and a few spoonfuls of water and wet food. He absolutely loves it in his food. After just the first week of use, his coat became noticeably softer and smoother and his skin is not so dry. This is an exceptional product! Also, I haven't noticed any undesirable changes in breath/body odor, though I do use the Triple Pet Plaque Off Fresh Breath product in his drinking water, which may be why he doesn't smell "fishy" to me.

My golden has always had skin and ear issues. I noticed after two weeks his ears have cleared up and his coat is much softer with less dander. It is not a cure-all for allergies (he still itches when the weather changes) but the improvement I have seen has made me decide to keep him on this indefinitely.

I have been using the Salmon Oil for about 6 months now. My Sheltie was constantly scratching himself. Fleas were not his problem. Dry skin was! It took about 10 days and he stopped scratching. My year old cat, Chloe, has a heart condition (the name is escaping me) where the walls of her heart are thick, which in turn makes her heart beat harder than normal. Omega-3 fatty acids aid in healthy heart function, so it was a no-brainer to put her on this stuff for daily heart health. She LOVES it. This is a great product for multiple reasons. I have a dog that gets a skin infection off and on, but since using the salmon oil he hasn't had a recurrence. Another dog is a picky eater, and will let the others eat his food. Adding the salmon oil makes his food a much higher value for him and he eats it all himself, and he is even brave enough to smell the most dominant dogs food. My old dog has been much more playful since he started on the oil, and the young, show dogs coat has never been so shiney. I have tried other salmon oils, but the scent is overwhelming and the dogs all smell like fish, but this one is unscented, so the dogs just smell like dogs. All of my dogs benefit in different ways from the oil, so they never get a meal with out it!

After Valley's (Shih tzu) last litter she truly blew her coat not to mention that all the remodeling going on in our house didn't help either.

My dog had very dry skin and was shedding quite a bit. I started giving Salmon oil with each meal and he has a beautiful coat, no dry skin and greatly reduced shedding. I recommended this product to a friend who has also had excellent results.

My indoor cats are both 2 years old, and I recently put them on the salmon oil. Tobey has had terrible hairballs, and I hated feeding him those treats with petroleum in them. The oil has seemed to put them to an end. Tobey and Oliver are both pretty picky, so I was surprised to see that they ate it right up. However, my dogs turned their noses up at it (I think it was too fishy). I continue to see improvements in their coats. Very nice product, especially since it has no heavy metals.

I bought a small bottle to try it for my cat. Then I ended up giving it to my household's dog as well. Their coats have never been shinier. I ran out and now I am ordering the largest bottle. My cat stopped eating for a day or two when I ran out. If you are on the fence deciding to buy it or not I say buy it you won't be sorry!

My dogs are the best judges of this salmon oil. They drool immediately when they see the dispenser. They love it on their food and I've noticed their coats are shinier and they seem healthier. Of the three salmon oils we've tried this one is the most cost effective.

I have been looking for a product that would help control non-seasonal shedding,and dry skin but at the same time satisfy my picky eaters. This Salmon Oil is it. I mix one pump of the oil with the cat's daily canned food snack and they gobble it up with no problem.
It really seems to have helped with the dry skin and shedding, they have been on it for about 1 week and I have noticed a difference. As an added benefit their coats are shiney and beautiful.
I would highly recommend this product to others. If my finicky boys will eat it, others should have no problems.

My dogs needed a few days to come around to this stuff but all dogs can use this product. Now I put it in their food daily with no problem....it is healthy for dogs of all ages, especially those with skin and coat issues.

This product has calmed our Australian Shepherd's non-stop itching supposedly due to allergies. I would recommend starting out with small amounts and gradually building up to desired dose because of probable loose bowels. It's premature to tell, but this may be helping his arthritis too.

My boyfriend and I have a 1 year old Siberian Husky. Naturally huskies shed, but ever since we got her back in December she was shedding mounds and mounds of fur, her skin was dry and her coat just looked unhealthy. Not only that but she was skinny and refused to eat dog food for days at a time. I know huskies don't eat everyday, but this oil has fixed her coat beautifully and she loves it so much she eats just about every time we set her food down. We now have a gorgeous healthy husky and it only took one product to get her there!

My two chocolate labs love this salmon oil....I have tried other oils and this one is the most cost efficient [...]. I heat my home with a woodstove and find that in the winter months my dogs coats become really dry and this product helps to deter that. One other bonus is that my older dog has a sensitive stomache and this doesn't seem to bother him at all. I have recommended this product to many people already.

I have two cats who can sniff out - and reject - even trace amounts of any supplement. One of them will very happily accept salmon oil either sprinkled over or mixed in with his preferred canned food. In fact, he will sometimes hold out until I DO add some salmon oil to it. Occasionally I can slip in a bit of another medication or supplement without him realizing it, as the salmon oil flavor (and smell) is fairly strong.
The benefits include much-needed omega oils and other vitamins. The oil also seems to help with digestion and passing stool from an otherwise kibble-heavy diet. I believe it may help with elimination of hairballs, as well. Certainly, the cat in question - a longhair - has a much quieter stomach and fewer vomiting episodes since I began including salmon oil in his diet. He generally gets what amounts to a teaspoon a day; an 8oz bottle lasts for months.

I feel that my dogs should eat more than one healthy food. When I change their food to another good one, I always add salmon oil and they love it and eat it every time. Sometimes I mix the foods and add the salmon oil and that works great, too. I feel it is much healthier than putting "human grade home-made gravy" from oils or grease from chickens or other cooked meats in their food. I was really happy to find this product. I'm getting ready to order more.

My cats are very picky, and I was afraid they wouldn't like the oil. But after coating their dry food with it, I found that they had no problem eating it.
Also, I once forgot to add it to my dog's food, and poured some directly in his bowl. He licked it clean!
It's definitely now hard to administer and they seem to really enjoy it!
I found that it tends to drip a big on the bottle after pouring, but I just tie a piece of tissue or paper towel around the bottle and it takes care of the problem.

This product is just terrific. I purchased it after doing research on helping my pooch through some recently developed skin itchiness that seemed season related and read that salmon oil can help. After about 10 days on this product, my dog is not itching at ALL and he loves having it his food! Very easy to administer. This is also a salmon oil that is very safe as there are no toxins in the salmon! We LOVE it!! Will keep using - it has other great beneficial effects as well for our older pooch :)

My puppy has long white fur and I want it to stay healthy and beautiful. This salmon is great for her skin and coat. I put some on her food and she just licks it up. She loves the taste of the salmon oil.

This does wonders for my black lab - she now has the shiniest coat, and very soft. I'm constantly getting comments on her fur. And she seems to love it...
