I like the toy myself. It's funny to watch my 2 dogs. They each have the toy and they love it.
This is the greatest toy for puppys. It is interactive as well as puppy's own resources. My pup loves it and it has become one of not the most favorite of his toys.

My dog loves this toy. However, if you have hardwood floors, this is a very loud toy, especially if your dog likes to pick up and throw its toys.

The battery was dead on this in less than 48 hours. I haven't had a chance to even look to see if there was a way to change the battery, but the only one who enjoyed it was myself. All 3 of the dogs hated it and wouldn't even go near the toy bin if it was there.

At first my dog would bark at the ball but not play with it, about the third time he started to push it all around the room and that is how he now plays with it. He will continually push it all over the place with his nose. The only problem is that he will bark as the ball makes the animal sounds.

The puppies love it, but I would have made it of a softer material. It's very hard plastic. Other than that, it's great.

I got the cat one for my three cats. Only the youngest, extremely playful one shows any interest at all. But even he got bored after a while, so I have to do things to make it more interesting, like wrap a rubber band around it and tie string to it, or put it inside a paper bag.
So basically, only get this for your cat if s/he is already very playful by nature. More mature or discriminating cats won't even look at it.
On the other hand, it seems very well made and I'm sure it'll last a long time.

I bough one of these each for my dog and cat, who won't have anything to do with them except run up and look at them, but I like them! They amuse me, and I think they're really cute, although the dog's ball is much too loud.

I have two active corgis that generally love chasing and playing with noisey toys. They both don't like this toy, but for different reasons. The older, more relaxed corgi has no interest in the toy because it's not soft and the sounds just don't interest him. Not to mention that they seem to irritate him. The smaller, more active one gets worked up and aggressive towards the toy. I personally don't like it because the sounds are grating--I bought the animal one and some of the sounds are akin to human screams--CREEPY!

My dogs had a great time with this ball - the newness has worn off some after a month - but every time they hit is by mistake and it moves and talks they start playing with it again. I would recommend it!

My 2 (3 yr old) Portuguese Water dogs LOVE this ball! They chase it, bat it around, until we have to take it away. They have all different kinds of balls, but this hard plastic one that talks is by far their favorite! I just purchased a 2nd one as the 1st was dropped too many times in their water bowl-they didn't want to loose it to the other when they got a drink.
It still boggles my mind as to how much they LOVE this ball!

This is the 4th ball of this type that I have bought within the last 3 months, and only one still works. I have tried replacing the batteries, but it doesn't help. One of my dogs absolutely loves these toys, but I am not wasting anymore money on them. They are too expensive to only last a few weeks.

Our little one simply loves this toy, he jumps on it and if it gets under the couch, he barks until we obtain the ball for him, its just one heck of a great toy for small dogs, would not recommend for large dogs.

Lilley loved playing with it, she still plays with it even that the batteries are gone.....
but can't get it apart to replace them. Gave the ball to my granddaughters dog and she was afarid
it,and didn't like it at all. I have ordered two for Lilley, but the second one didn't last very long at all.

I have a very active 1 year old cat who out plays all his toys. I got him this one for Christmas and all my cats love it. The trick is to stick it in or under something. I have it under a box and the cats love sticking their paws under the box and making the ball talk. I had it in a sock and that was fun too. Worth every penny and the voice isn't annoying at all.

My kitten loves the kitten babble ball. He has many toys but this is by far his favorite. He searches for it and if he can't find it, he cries until we help him find it. It keeps him entertained for hours. Just remember to hide it at night or it will wake you up, ha.

My 2 Kitties got this for christmas. They love it.
I have to remember to put it up at night so they don't play with it and wake me up! They find it really fun. I do wish it were made from hard rubber instead of plastic though.But there might be a reason for this.

I bought one for four different dogs and they all loved this toy! One dog carries it in her mouth all the time! I've enjoyed watching them play with this toy as much as they have enjoyed playing with it.

We were looking for a good interactive toy for our 9 month old Goldendoodle. This toy was so annoying and creepy -- and wouldn't stop making noises. Our two kids (8 and 11) were freaked out by it. It went off even when no one was touching it. Our dog played with it once but was terrified.

This has been a consistent attraction for all 3 of my cats. They gather round it and keep playing with it. To see all 3 share is wonderful!
As a pet owner my heart skipped a beat at the MEEOOWW as I ran to see what had happened. The cats looked at me innocently. It was the yakky ball. Beware they learn you'll get surprises too and you'll see them waiting for you to come around & check on them! You can see the glee in their eyes at the "gotcha mommie".

my german shepherd thinks it is great to pick the ball uup and drop it on the floor so the ball will make new noises. He is entertained for a while instead of bothering me all the time. I love it. Had it for several months and it has not shattered yet.

My puppy (Maltese) was little afraid of those animal sounds at first (about 3 days), then he found out this is a fun toy by himself. I put this ball in a clean sack & tied opening to prevent damages from puppy chewing. This is the first toy he wants to play with.

Hazel adores this toy. She plays with it daily and guards it. We enclose it within a holy roller ball so she can't actually bite the babble ball. I buy 3 or 4 at at time so she's never without one.

Our 2 yr old black lab loves this new toy! He has the most expressive face of any dog I've ever seen. Some of the voices catch his attention more than others. He tries to nudge the ball certain ways to hear his favorites. Great for indoor fun on rainy days.
This toy can keep my dogs (and me!) amuzed for hours. Love it and highly recommend it for high energy dogs with high ball drive.

I love the clarity of the sound.
My dog really is intent about the sounds.
But it's too hard and will hurt someone if hit with it. You think of a ball as something to be tossed, but my dog wouldn't think about catching something so hard in his mouth and he's a big dog. A safe rubber surrounding instead of hard plastic or even a soft furry covering would be better.

My dog had another toy that we got as gift and he loved it, it ended up breaking very easily. We bought the babble ball because it is the only toy that is interactive for dogs! It is so great both of our dogs love to play with it and it is not destructible! Thank you we love it.

The ball is made out of a very hard and smooth material, making it hard to catch if we would even want to try. There is no way to turn it off once the tab has been pulled out. It is very loud and some of the phrases are difficult to understand or negative, like "get out of here". Since it has batteries, I now have to get a small screw driver and try to take them out to recycle. It's very annoying.

This is pretty cute... our min pin likes it, although it doesn't keep him entertained for long periods of time since he can't really chew on it. It does, however, seem to be his 'go to' when he's super bored. I would say it's a perfect toy for dogs who have a lot of time and are curious or bored easily that adds to their overall play experience. As a note, I don't think I'd leave it out for him all the time if it was his only toy... he doesn't really have at chewing it now, but if he did, I'm relatively sure he could crack it.

Our pug and boston terrier both go CRAZY over this toy. However, I did have to find a way for them to play with it without being able to actually get the toy in their mouths - the hard plastic shredded into little shards which I am sure is not good if dog swallows those.... So, for the pug, I slit open tennis ball enough to put slip the babble ball into it. For the boston terrier who can rip apart the tennis ball, I found a rubber ball with stretchy holes that the babble ball could be slipped through. Now, they can't get to actual babble ball, but still love the toy - they play with the toy to the point of exhaustion!!

Great toy!! Keeps my Golden Retriever pup occupied and having fun at all times of the day and night. We even have to take it away sometimes because he rolls it, drops it, carries it everywhere!!! We laugh as well. I recommend to all animal lovers!!! We are buying another one!!!

My dog is a 7 lb toy dog and loves this toy. I bought it for her 9 months ago and she plays with it every day. The first batteries lasted about 6 months. It just broke yesterday (something inside is rattling around) so I have to buy another one. This toy has been worth every penny to us. My dog will play with the ball by pushing it around and carrying it. I put it into either her hide a bird house or her IQube and it makes an interesting game. She was never interested in getting the squeaky toys out of these toys but she sure is interested in getting the babble ball out.

My one year old golden retriever went absolutely crazy for this ball, but unfortunately it stopped making noise after only one day. He still carrys it around, but it doesn't have the zing it did when it "talked". I would not buy again.

We can't buy enough of them. Our springer males
spend hours getting exercise by chasing these balls, rolling them, tossing them and even sleeping with them. It is a fight to get them to
give them up. They are truly a wonderful toy for
2 dogs that literally shred their other toys.
We have given them as gifts.

My dog loves the ball but the sounds do not last long and you I cannot recharge the sounds. I have had at least four of these because my dog loves it. What can you do to increase the length of the sounds.?

My parrots roll this ball all over the floor laughing and getting good excerise.
Also like talking to it when is in the ( clean/empty) food bowl.
Is made safe even for birds.

This ball is perfect for our Vizsla. She is a very active, quick and tough little girl so this fits perfectly into her lifestyle. I like it because it's tough enough for her rough treatment, she can't eat it or chew it to pieces, and it helps to burn off some of her energy. Here's another plus for me....I'm a photographer and hearing the animal sounds really gets the attention of little ones, so it has double uses in our household.

Three Shepherds love it. They play with it constantly. Problem - their play is rough and replacing batteries doesn't work. Something inside breaks. I believe a 'softer' ball would alleviate this problem. Buying the balls is cheaper than replacing batteries.
Love it. Volume doesn't bother me or the dogs. Will continue to purchase this product. They bring it to me to throw or play with it by themselves. Either way it is great fun

I thought this might be a good fit for my really active, squeeky toy loving dog. Well it wasn't what we were expecting. It is made of a hard plastic which is pretty clunky and noisey when it is rolled around. And the noise level on this is kind of loud, and it was sort of unexpected. It was actually annoying after awhile. My dog just sort of looked at it in a manner that was like,:um, what is this?" So I don't think it was for either of us really. We have retired this one it was just a little too much for us.

My dog likes the sounds of the ball, however, she will not pick it up. I believe it is because of the hard plastic. She will push it around with her feet once in a while. If the ball could be made out of hard rubber it would be great!

The hard plastic isn't something cats are naturally drawn to. Sissal or similar material covering it would be way more effective.
So- it's back to the foolproof Cat Dancer.
Gotta be the best cat toy on earth.

The ball isa good idea but it's too loud. My dog really isn't sure of it. The cat occasionally bats it for a minute or so. Sometimes it goes off without anyone being near it. I believe there are too many sounds. Three or four would be sufficient. To try to not have wasted my money, I'm going to try to sew it into a stuffed animal and see what happens.

I purchased the babble ball for a young blind dog and she absolutely loves it. She can find the ball no matter where it goes because of the sounds coming from it. I would recommend this toy to anyone with a sight impaired dog, although it can be very annoying because of the sounds.

I have a Cairn Terrier. He didn't know what to do with it. From reading the other reviews about how great it is, I guess the breed matters. I'll give this to someone whose dog will play with it.

This is the best toy so far that I have gotten for my dog. It keeps him busy while I am awy from home and he loves it even when I am with him. the only thing that is a con is when you first get and show it to your pet he might be afraid of it, but that passes fast and he loves it.[*]

Buckley is on his 3rd Babble Ball. They keep him occupied for hours at a time. Someone mentioned batteries, but we've never had to change the batteries. It would be nice if they were hard rubber isntead of plastic.

Both my dogs love this toy! It is on the smaller side in size, so large dogs could choke. No matter what, I would supervise the play. I put it out of reach when play time is over. Can be annoying with the constant noise. This is another reason for supervised play.

My Rottie pup loves this toy and it keeps him occupied and exercised at the same time. But this toy needs 3 batteries and they cost over [$]. They only last about an hour, so Day Care is cheaper. I'm disappointed. I didn't know I would have to pay heavily for this fun toy.

I thought this would be a great play/exerise for the inside..........however, it drives my dog nuts! I mean crazy nuts! He doesn't chase it he just stands on it and barks. But I do think it would be great toy for a more layed back type of dog. Even tho it hasn't been good at our house, I really think it would be good for another.

This babble ball is an entertaining toy for my dog. It keeps him occupied for very long periods of time. The ball is durable, and even provides excitement for our grandchildren.
The only suggestion I would make, is to have your pet play outside, because it creates so much excitement, he barks at the noises, a lot.

I can't tell if he likes it or if it is disturbing him. He barks at it like he likes it, but then he whines and wimpers at it. I believe he loves to hate it, so I only let him play with it for a few minutes at a time.

My 2 little guys just love this ball. It keeps them entertained for long periods of time. They run from one end of the house to the other chasing and/or carrying the ball. The only drawback is that it is constantly rolling under furniture and I have to retrieve it. I am ordering the medium size. They won't be able to carry it in their mouths, but they can still push and roll it around. Will still be good for a chase. Cannot say enough things about the quality and value of this toy.

Our dog loves the babble ball. Medium fits her mouth & she loves the sounds. We like the fact that the batteries are replaceable. The product is affordable only problem...our dog hides it & we can't find it to play with her. So I've ordered 2 more.

My JRT absolutely loves this toy, but she eats the plastic. I tried putting in in socks, linen aprons, and finally found a rubber hollee rollee ball that this little noisemaker would fit in, and now it works great. She is entertained for very long periods of time. We love this toy.

At first my cats were afraid of it but now they really enjoy playing with it. It's strong enough to withstand the abuse of 5 month old kittens. The downside is the volume. It is really loud! Even at the bottom of a box full of toys it is loud!

This has to be the most clever, fun and entertaining dog toy I've seen in ages! My dog is fascinated with the variety of different animal noises made by the Babble Ball and just can't leave it alone. An incredible value for such a terrific toy!

this is a great toy for independent playtime!!! it isn't too loud or annoying like a squeak toy, and it keeps my puppy engaged.
only concern is that the small ball could be a choking hazard for many animals. my puppy is extra small, so he picks it up in his mouth to carry it, but you may want to size up.
also, the small ball easily rolls under furniture, so i'm constantly having to dig it out for him.
i'm back to order a larger size and hope it is furniture-friendly =)

Don't miss out on this. This is very sturdy and can hold up to a lot of fun with your pet. This is by far one of the best toys we've purchase. We have a spare just in case we lost it.
