Show cats need the grass for their health. They look where it has been placed and enjoy the chewing and nosing in the grasses.
So easy to grow and Organic! They will not touch the other commercial grasses. Cats are smart!

It takes a while to grow in the Winter because of reduced light, but the are very happy when it's ready to eat and enjoy all the flavors of grass.
You need to keep track of how moist the soil is....too wet you get mold; too dry you don't get growth.
They do love it!!!

The drainage tray makes the grass last without becoming wilted or overly soaked. It is also safe to leave on wood, as the water does not seep through the bottom. The mix of seeds offers a lot of choices, and it has stayed thick and green for weeks. The container is adorable, sturdy, and a nice size. Previous cat grass needed a drainage plate and wilted quickly - this is a great alternative. The peat moss also made the seeds easy to grow.

Kitty likes all of the grasses. While it is pretty easy to grow, don't overwater! Mold will grow instead...

This is attractively packaged and grows quickly. The cats totally ignored it! I do know that my cats eat grasses in the yard and hay fields so I thought this would be a nice "extra" for them. I keep trimming the grasses and feeding the trimmings to the goats and they really appreciate my efforts! Unfortunately, I will not purchase this again for the cats. I will buy a bunch of the same seed locally and will plant it outside when the weather fairs to see if I can work the cats into eating these grasses. If that works, I may try it inside again. It is a cool idea.

The kit was a great value and worked perfectly, the only problem was my cats didn't want anything to do with it. They would come over, smell it, and walk away... unfortunatly it went to waste.

I have been a long time user of this product and have been on the auto ship program for some time now. I am now canceling. At first I was very pleased!! Couldn't be happier!! I went to auto ship buying the refill kits on a regular basis. Then a few months ago I noticed that less than half the seeds were sprouting!! More like a third leaving very little grass for my 2 cats to enjoy! I even use a professional plant light to help with the sprouting process. It has become so bad that there is not enough grass to last my cats 2 days!! Then the packaging changed. The seeds use to be in individual packets that you could open one at a time. Now they are encased in separate pockets of the top of the kit but when you peel back the plastic cover all the seeds are exposed making it difficult to pour them into the peat containers without mixing up all the seeds!! A big mess!! Greens are a must for my cats and without them they tend to vomit a lot. Sorry to say I will not be buying this product anymore.

I think it's great for them to have something fresh available at all times. My dogs love it too.
I also like having an easy houseplant. ;-)
I highly recommend grasses for all animals, especially if they live indoors. This one in particular is good because it gives four different types of grasses.

This is a great find! I often struggled with finding the right (non poisonous) houseplants that could co-exist with my cats because they loved playing/chewing on them. The kitty garden is great because it offers some greenery to my nature-deprived indoor cats that's safe and attractive to them. Not to mention it was so much fun to plant and watch grow! It only took a few days and it was completely full, just like the picture.

This product really gives what it promises. Not only I had lots of fun planting the seeds, and they grow very fast, (in about 4 to 5 days). Molly adores eating and rubbing her nose in the grass. The pot is really pretty, is not messy (if done correctly) and my house plants are gratefull. It also looks nice.

My cat LOVED it! It grew quickly. The wooden holder is very attractive and can be used numerous times. A quality product for a very reasonable price.

It's convenient, easy to use. Just have to remember to water it and start a new one before the old one needs to be tossed.
