My cats are crazy in love with this treat and I feel great feeding it to them because it's 100% freeze dried protein without any additives or preservatives. Very Healthy.
I have an IBD kitty who has to eat grain free and these treats are the BEST!!! She simply loves them! My non-IBD kitty loves them too! They are a little powdery but it doesn't seem to bother the kitties at all!!! I'm on my way back for more!!!
My cats just love this as a treat.
These treats are great! PURE CHICKEN! No additives, etc. Taste one - they taste like the dried up chicken breasts you're often served at banquets. Really! Not good at a banquet - but delicious for pet treats! Highly recommended.
I have already written a review on these, but I couldn't edit my last one. I wanted to add that I have found a new use for them. My kitty loves them so much that I have taught her to walk on the treadmill (at 0.5 MPH) using them as her "carrot".
I also started adding a little warm water to rehydrate them, and it has been a great way to increase her fluid intake and I don't have to subcutaneous LR as often (chronic renal failure).
My cat is a freeze-dried salmon fanatic. He LOVES these! I break down some of the larger pieces, and give him one small piece per day. He meows like crazy when I open the bag! Great stuff!
My picky granny-kitty runs to me when she hears the bag rustle. She is a pretty anxious & reserved cat, but literally purrs in anticipation and while eating them. Better than catnip!
Sometimes I add warm water to rehydrate to give a very special treat to the cat. My cat will only lap the gravy of cat food and will not eat the chunks. When I add water to this, she eats all the meat. Forget gravy--with these, she laps up all the water! I have caught her going back to lick the empty plate, hoping she could get another little taste, which a dignified old kitty like mine would never do (usually she leaves food on the plate).
Because they are freeze-dried, they are easy to store. I have left the bag open overnight before and they seem to stay just as fresh & crisp. Because they are random sizes, some are large & I often have to break them down into bite size, as my kitty gets so excited she doesn't chew and tends to "wolf" them down. You can cut them easily with meat scissors, but I mostly I break them with my fingers. When doing this, they crumble a bit, but she loves them so much that I don't mind the crumbs. They don't seem to stain & brush off or vaccuum easily. I don't really notice the smell: to me, wet food smells stronger.
My German Shepherd dog likes them too. My dog can tell that this reward outranks the others and knows that when she gets one, she was really good. I may try some smaller bits as a dog training reward.
My persian loves this hydrated with water...its like a little snack that is healthy..
These treats can be served by themselves, but we crumble them into our dogs' kibble, mix with some water, and it makes the food smell better and seem like stew. Our dogs have gone from eating sporadically to eating their kibble 98% of the time. They actually WANT their food now! (We also add meat to their food, but that never made them eat their kibble--I swear it's these treats!)
My cat does not eat cooked chicken but LOVES these treats! He turns his nose up at almost everything but ate this immediately! My other cat who is not finicky at all loved them as well.
What cat doesn't like salmon? The pieces are large, so typically have to be broken into bite size. And my cat anyway prefers them soaked in warm water (as per the alternative serving suggestion on the package). But he likes them alot, then drinks the salmon juice left over.
Have been using these for my cats about 7 months. Tried other flavors but the cats only like the chicken. I put herbal products by drop on the pieces of chicken, one of my cats likes it much better with the cough/asthma extract.
Our 3 cats absolutely love these treats. They can't go to bed without having some.
My kitty loves these treats. I bought her the cod flavor and she goes crazy when she even hears the package being opened. I do have to break them into smaller pieces for her, but that's no big deal.
My only (very minor) complaint is that they smell terrible. But hey, I guess you have to expect that from fish pieces! And they are healthy and nutritious and my baby loves them, so it really doesn't matter!
I had a hard time finding natural, healthy 'treats' that my kitten enjoyed, but these seem to be doing the trick. While he did turn his nose up at them at first, I think it was only because he was too small of a kitten at the time. He loves them now (10 weeks) and comes running when he hears the bag rustle. I've purchased the Turkey and will definitely be trying out the other flavors. They can be served hard out of the bag or soaked in water for a minute or two for a soft treat. He seems to love them both. I've also on occasion mixed some of the "soft" version into his regular meal. I also think they would be a great treat for a smaller dog.
pretty sharp little bits, and even after soaking in water the center doesn't soften. I bought it for my cats though, maybe better for dogs.
All three of my cats LOVE these treats. Especially the chicken. They also like the turkey and beef. I have been using clicker training to teach them neat tricks and these treats have helped a lot. One of my cats is a picky eatter and she loves these. If I don't put them in a secure place she will eat through the bag to get them. Thank you Whole Life.
My two cats are on a raw food diet and LOVE the chicken treats. My puppy loves them as well, but that's not surprising since puppies will eat almost anything! :) I like the fact that the chicken treats are just freeze-dried chicken...no other additives or fillers. I know I am giving them the very best!

My 5 rescue cats are VERY finicky. They eat mostly raw, canned and these treats. They like this best and would eat the entire bag if they could. It is mainly used as a jump start to eat the main food.
