My doggy sure loves these treats, my boyfriend, however, does NOT. Five minutes after these treats were delivered to my house he was complaining about the smell of fish. This was surprising cause he has chronic allergies and usually cant smell a thing through his stuffed up nose. I put the treats in two thick zip lock bags and you could STILL smell them. Luckily I have an air tight container where i keep all my treats and this keeps both my puppy and boyfriend happy. If you are sensitive to smells, you might want to think about where you'd like to store these.
Pup really likes these, but only when she's in the mood for them - then she would eat the whole sack, if I'd let her. I like the fact that they are good for her skin and coat. Most of her doggie friends like them too, although sometimes they have to sniff and consider - there is a very strong fish smell to them that first timers have to get use to ;-)
My dogs went nuts for these treats. They can easily be broken into smaller pieces for tiny dogs and/or puppies. You may not want to have a pocket full of these treats if you aren't going to be around "dog" people, they do have a strong fishy aroma, but I'm sure that's why my dogs love them!
Tasty, healthy treat and very reasonably priced.
Really think these are excellent because they are natural and have Omega FA.
these are one of the few snacks we can give our boxer girl who has terrible skin allergies and her treats have to be pure fish or pure vegetable with NO ADDITIVES, etc. These are the perfect size and are pure fish and are crunchy too. She likes them and they don't make her itch!
smells fishy, but its pure fish!my dog loves these
Angel is our 15 month old Standard Poodle. Solid black in color and is the happiest dog I have ever seen in my life (and I'm 63 yrs old!) We got her these treats at a doggie health food store when she was little and I used them for an "enticement" to get into her crate at night. No problem!!! Now all I have to say is "Let's get a cookie" and she is up the stairs - into the bedroom - and sitting in front of the crate waiting to get in to her crate and to get her "cookie." The pet shop ran out of these treats and couldn't get any more - so I went on line and found you. In the meantime we had to use other treats for her bedtime "cookie." Nine times out of ten it was still in the crate in the morning. Needless to say, both of us were thrilled to find you online and order the salmon treats again. Thanks.
I got both the 'caviar' and the 'bones' variety of Snackfish.
The caviar is appreciated, but they don't go wild over it ... but the 'fish bones' - oh boy! These are definitely the ultimate snack.
They are hard enough to be fun and good jaw exercise for small dogs; but once they crack into them, they're easy enough to chew up. Judging by the rapt attention of my dogs, this is as close as you get to fishy doggy heaven.
The best bonus is: the energy boost. My guys (toy breed) were prancing around like the Energizer bunnies after eating just one of the bone treats! They are worth the price for that alone. :)
Our dog absolutely LOVES the Ifex Snackfish treats. I know if I gave her the whole package at once (which I'd never do) she'd go thru it in 5 seconds!! Thanks for a great treat.
Our pekepoos LOVED this product as we'd suspected. My husband often travels overseas and on a recent trip to Singapore, he "smuggled" over some treats for our babies. These "treats" are actually a snack food staple among Singaporians. They are real, whole, dehydrated fish (eyes, fins, etc) - not sure of their actual name, but in Singapore, they are eaten as the American equivalent of potato chips because they are dry, hard - but chewy, & salty. My husband knew our babies would love them (because of the strong odor) & boy was he right. They devoured these things & were really treats among many to say the least as they are very spoiled, lol. Your product simulated the odor (and taste I'm sure - I'm not that bold) so they absolutely loved them (and the fact they were crunchy and resemble Pepperidge Farm "goldfish"). I guess it's a good value for a pretty small bag, but our babies LOVED them so of course it was worth it. Would I buy again? Sure, but due to the cost and our babies' spoiled and easily bored palettes, I wouldn't purchase on a regular basis. However, I highly recommend this product as dogs and cats alike I'm sure would love it as much as our little ones did. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
My three guys all LOVE these things! They are a bit smelly, but that seems to add to the appeal. They have a teriffic crunch & for their small size really make them feel like they've been rewarded.
Ok, so it's a well known fact that the my Great Dane will eat most anything. Well, I ordered a couple bgas of the salmon snack and opened the first bag last night. I have *never* seen Marmaduke sit for any treat without being told...he smelled it and SAT.
To a dog, the salmon snacks are winners!
