I gave one stick each to both my dogs and they absolutely loved them. In fact they were both smelling the box it came in before I even opened it. Once I gave it to them, it was a non-stop, concentrated time for chewing. I would say it's best to use it if you have a hyper dog when company comes over and/or for a special treat. It took them awhile to eat the entire thing but they certainly enjoyed it. I would also recommend keeping a close eye on them when they chew, my smallest dog almost choked when she finally found the best way to hold it (between her paws) because she was so eager to chew it.
These sticks have my recommendations.
I will order more of them for my dogs. They absolutely love them
We gave these to our 2 Miniature Schnauzers (ages 4 & 8) for Christmas. They love them! We also gave them to other family pets and they loved them as well. Would definitely recommend them to others
I have 2 dachshunds who are wild about the bully sticks. They last for hours, clean their teeth, fulfills the need to chew and are nutrionaly better than a raw hide.
The ONLY draw back I have found is as with anything they chew and swallow you need to keep an eye on them. I tend to take them away from them when they have gotten fairly small ( like the last bit fits in their mouth).
Its important to buy the right size as well, a larger dog will need a bigger bully stick.
Merrick makes some of the BETTER treats for dogs and I am more than willing to pay for it.
What I like most about these sticks is that they are not made from rawhide, which can be dangerous for dogs to eat. I give this to my boxer on a daily basis to keep her busy and to clean her teeth, which are bright white now. One 12" stick lasts about three days.
My dogs love to chew, but since one of my dogs broke two teeth on a hard, plastic bone, I had to find something that would pose less of a tooth breakage hazard and at the same time would provide some decent chewing time. The bully sticks fit the bill, as one dog took an hour to finish one, while the other dog took two hours (most likely due to a missing tooth).
They are stinky but our dog loves them. One of these sticks keeps our super-hyper Vizsla busy and happy for a while. We usually give him one when we have guests over (especially when they are not crazy about dogs).
My dog Troy loves this bones and could not ask for a better value.
I have two German Shephards and they have alot of energy. When I need them to calm down for a bit they both get one bully stick each and it is hours of calm. They love them and so do we!
I love the fact that they are digestible, unlike rawhides, as my dogs pretty much eat their chewies. Some of the sticks are very thin, and some of them are very thick. The thick ones are great for my retrievers, and even the 6" stick lasts a good 20 minutes. The thin ones, though, have caused gagging and choking. Eventually he threw it up, but it was hours of gagging. I would not give these (or other chewable consumables) without supervision for this reason...and give the thin ones to the neighbor's LITTLE dog. PRetty expensive when I can't use them all.
I can't believe how my dog loves these -- she absolutely goes to town on them. She won't go anywhere without it: if I'm upstairs, she brings it upstairs; if I'm downstairs, she brings it downstairs ... and she chews and chews until there's nothing left. She also loves Merrick's Flossies and she behaves exactly the same with those, too.
The bully sticks are wonderful for the dogs love them. Only downfall is that they stink...I've heard there are more organic ones out there that don't smell as bad.
My little Bailey is a Maltese and absolutely loves the Merrick Bully Sticks. I buy them in large quantity, not only for the savings, but also because I never want him to run out of these special treats. They last much longer than a rawhide and my vet tells me they are much healthier to digest. Since he is a smaller dog, one of these Bully Sticks usually lasts about 3 days. It's hours of chewing enjoyment and is great for his teeth. I would highely recommend these long lasting tendons.
These are great treats to give as a reward or even for daily use. My larger dog chewed it all up in under three mintues but my Chihuahua LOVES them. They are a bit smelly, but worth it!
I can't vouch for the taste but our GSD's sure like them. I appreciate the fact they are thinner, for a lighter snack. Also that they are not strongly smoked. Keep up the good work.
Well liked and tolerated by the little doggie. He drags it around from inside the house to outside.
These are great. They keep my dogs occupied for hours.
This is a wonderful, natural chew that actually lasts longer. My Scottie LOVES these! They do stink though so sometimes I make him eat them outside!
We love these! They entertain our dog for hours.
I have two very picky chi chi's - these work great.
I didn't realize they'd be so skinny even though 6 inches seemed like a good length. I'm afraid to let my large dogs eat these because I'm afraid they'll choke. Great for long chews, but I should have bought a larger size.
These bullysticks are the best I've bought. They're made in the US and are better quality than others on the market. They're not inexpensive, but they last a long time. My wheatens love them.
I bought pretty much one of every brand of bully stick to see which one would last the longest...this was the only one that my German Shepherd/Hound mix was unable to demolish in less than 10 minutes..it probably took 20, which is pretty good considering he kills a pig ear nearly the size of my head in about 3-5 minutes. He actually felt he had time to play with this one a little before finishing it off. I bought only the 6 inch size, but I think from now on I would buy this brand in the 12 inch for something that will last even longer.
Bully Sticks are AMAZING! If your dog is a chewer, these long-lasting treats are such a superior alternative to rawhide which can cause choking.
We buy the large ones and cut them with a garden tool...they are not messy when one has to relocate them...they last a long time...good value..Karan
Trying out different natural beef chews. Puppy is teething. This chew odor free, not messy, can be used on carpeting. Good product.
I give one to my dog daily when I leave for work-much less destruction when I return at the end of the day
My large 75lb dog, Gracie, LOVES these. They last her quite a while, and for the price - you just can't beat it!
My golden retriever and my beagle love these. They are great to have on those rainy days or very cold days when they cannot go out and play for too long. I have been told they can stain your floors, but I have not had that experience. Buying in bulk and having them sent every 6 weeks is a great deal!

Our 2 cocker spaniel pups chew through EVERYTHING - edible and inedible - in minutes! They are each still working on their first bully stick after 3 45-minute sessions. They do not move or respond to anything while chewing on these! The sticks are healthy, and pieces do not break off like they do with other types of chews. We'll keep coming back for more!

These are the best bully sticks I've found and the price is very reasonable. Nice and thick. These actually last a couple of days with my 70 lb lab
