My soft coated wheaton terrier has a very sensitive stomach and cannot have most of the treats sold in the chain pet stores. Newman's Own Medium Chicken Treats are the perfect treat!

THE SMALLER SIZE IS GREAT FOR MY SHIH TZU-POODLE! EASY FOR HIM TO CHEW, NOT HARD LIKE OTHER TREATS CAN BE. THE HEART SHAPE MAKES IT FUN FOR MY KIDS TO GIVE THEM TO THE DOG.

I love the fact that the Newman's Own products are nutritionally sound and organic. I feel more secure in giving them to my dogs. My dogs' health is just as important as my own family. These are great products!

Only one variety has no soy; wish they all did. I buy the small and break them in half to use for training "bites". The veggie ones aren't as uniform and tend to be overbaked so I quit buying them, but the chicken, cheese and peanut butter are terrific as far as my dogs are concerned.

dont give up treats due to age etc.

Our Peppy is almost 17 years old and has IBS which really limits what he can eat and his special food is not so tasty.[...]He loves them and if a few are in his food he actually eats everything on his plate! Thank you.

My two dogs LOVE these chicken flavored treats. My dogs are not prown to slobber as they are Bichon and Malti-Poos, however my Bichon will start slobbering as soon as we say those magic words... "Anyone want a cookie?" They also compete with one-another and they start doing tricks. I am talking flips, jumps, hop on two feet, walk on two feet, give paws, dancing, etc. They did this all on their own. It is awesome to watch. I almost want to create a slogan so instead of "What would you do ooh for a ____ bar?" I should start asking them "What would you do ooh for a tasty cookie?" LOL Too cute I tell ya! I would give these treats 10 stars if I could!!! :)

Cosmo (12-year-old Dalmation) has become finicky in his later years, sometimes he doesn't want to eat his special diet food, but he always enjoys Newman's Organic Treats. I feel good about giving them to him often because they are healthy and nutritious and very easy for him to chew.

All I can say about these are that our dog hates them. We have tried so many times to get him to eat them and he leaves them on the floor for days. Maybe he is just picky about his treats but we tried chicken and peanut butter and he will not eat them. Too bad because they seemed like a great treat.
