The pretzels are a good size for a smallish (around 30 or under) dog. If giving them to a larger dog, they will not last anywhere as long as you would like. I have 5 dogs ranging in size from 8 pounds up to 75 and they all love them, but the times the treat lasts ranging from about 10 minutes to several hours. Also keep inmind if your dog has a sensitive stomach and is small, to not let him eat the whole thing at one time, beacuse it could upset his stomach. It is also working great from many puppies I know! It takes them a long time to chew any of it off, and it helps with teething. Only down side is that they are a little small and you can't get a larger pretzel for your larger dogs.
