I thought these would be chewy, but they splintered off and were very hard. One of my dogs was not fond of them at all, the other ate hers, but I worried it would break her teeth.

If these were a little bit softer they would be perfect. They are hard so small dogs will take a long time to finish them. On the other hand, since they are a little bit brittle, larger dogs might finish them quickly. These are a great, inexpensive chew for small and medium dogs. I estimate that they will last around 1 hour.

These natural chews are not for small or medium size dogs. The chews are very hard, I think larger dogs would like this chew a lot better.

My big bully loves these, and I don't worry about him trying to swallow these whole (like he does rawhide). I only wish they'd last a little longer!
