My hair-ball prone cat won't take the product willingly. I had to ply him with treats afterward to get him to taste even a tiny tidbit/drop. Forget about the indicated amount! We tried over a period of a week, and he wouldn't change his dislike. Therefore, I cannot attest to how the product works.

I use a small siringe to administer the hairball gell (in my cat's mouth) that I get from the Vet.

My ferrets developed a coughf, the vet tolded me that is was due to seasional shedding, a hairball. She recomemded this product, i could not be happier! All 3 ferrets love the tast, and it was exstremly effective. Now i keep some on hand as a grooming aid. They think its a treat!
