I use this product with my 9 year old part Siamese who has asthma. He seems to like the taste (a lot better than the Prednisone that the vet prescribed) and it seems to work much better.
With the change in the weather I have to give him a little more, but it seems to help him breathe easier.

I like the product. It has help my cat breath better. Unfortuantely, it has doses for humans, not dogs or cats.
Dosage Instructions:
Cats & Dogs under 25 lbs: 1/4 - 1/2 tsp 2-6 times per day
Dogs 25-50 lbs: 1 tsp 2-6 times per day
Dogs 50-100 lbs: 1 1/2 tsp 2-6 times per day
Dogs over 100 lbs: 2 tsp 2-6 times per day

This is not a substitute for having your cat properly diagnosed. It does work very nicely in a Dashall to calm the beginnings of bronchitis. It keeps the steriods away. I'm very pleased with the product. The little cup that comes with the syrup is clearly for humans so you'll need a syringe to measure, withdraw, and administer Ivy Calm.

I am glad there is an alternative from the prescribed drugs due to the fact my dog has a severe heart condition that makes him cough all of the time. Since I have been using Ivy calm he does not cough as much and is able to sleep better.
