I used this on my Bichon's paw pads, because his skin was getting very dry, cracked, and even peeled off (running on pavement)...which caused him pain. I rubbed a bit each night on his pads, and within a few days or so his skin was much smoother and less cracked. He also enjoys the taste, since I don't worry if he licks it! :) A long-time friend & fellow groomer told me about organic coconut oil as a great topical and internal treatment.

And it's SO easy to use! They think it's a treat and eat it with gusto. Best thing of all it works, their coats are so soft and their skin so hydrated. I have an Aussie that use to have terrible dry skin and nothing we did or tips the vet gave us helped, less than week after being on coconut oil and the dryness was gone. I can't wait for our vet to see him.
All three of my dogs have done a complete 360. This stuff works wonders.

my boxer kenai had thyroid problems i give her 1tbs in morning and evening,she was on pillas from vet but her heart looked like it was going to come out of her chest stopped the pills and used the oil,she had her check up and her thyroid came back normal.

My dogs all love this coconut oil and it seems to be helping my chihuahua that has had a yeast infection on his skin.
My Senegal parrot loves it too. I add it to my Latte which he always shares and the first thing he heads for is the oil!

I am giving this coconut oil to both my golden retrievers for general skin health and one of them has candida. My dogs just love this. I mix a scoop of it in with each of their meals and they pick this out and eat it first thing. They just love this and it seems to really make their coat shine.

add product to food for thyroid problem. her heart no longer looks like it is going to come out of her chest from thyroid pills,that i took her off of. she loves the taste and natural energy. hopefully she will grow all her hair back. if not oh well she is a great dog.
