I do think that Seacure works well to improve pet nutrition; however, it has not helped my cat in terms of helping cure his IBD. I do think that it may have helped him from going downhill with his IBD though...in other words, it may not fix a problem, but it will keep things from getting worse.
I have been using Seacure for over a year on our ten year old yorkie. When she was six it was thought that she may have lymphangtasia a protein losing disease. We brought her to the Minnesota University Animal Hospital and did not like hearing this news. Her albumin was always around 1.80 to 1.90 but by giving her Seacure she is up to 2.3 to 2.5 and she is doing wonderful. Our vet is amazed with this product and I recommend it to others. I use the powder and mix it in her food once a day.I know it stinks but I keep it in the fridge in a baggie. As long as it works I am happy and will deal with the smell. My yorkie loves it too!She hardly sleeps like an older dog;she has lots of energy like a pup.As I said before my vet is amazed what it has done for her.Hope this is useful to others.
This product worked well, but the two problems I had with it were: 1) I have two very large dogs, so one little tub lasted me less than 10 days. Way too expensive unless you have small dogs. And 2) it's stinky. And I mean stinky. It smells like putting fish in the microwave everyday. I just couldn't take the smell anymore. Conclusion: If you have small dogs and don't mind the smell, it's a great product.
My cat, Robbie, has irritable bowel disorder. I have tried various herbal remedies in the past, but he also has terrible allergies. He is unable to handle any of the other treatments except the Seacure. Strangely enough, Robbie isn't crazy about fish, but he can tolerate this, and I feed it to him with his dinner. Along with a raw diet, this has helped him to keep regular bowel movements.
Use this for maintenance but my sister has an older dog that it's helped.
Sherlock, our 12-yr old cat, recently had his yearly senior check-up. Vet was astonished at Sherlock's overall condition. No cloudy eyes, excellent skin and coat condition, and clean teeth. "Whatever you are doing, continue it, Sherlock appears to be half his age." Thank you Seacure.
My 10yr old cat Inca a Havana Brown has a family history of IBD and his bother died from it ( a friend had him) Inca had been dignosed and suffering for about a year when I found SEACURE. I tried it cuz says it helped with "Seacure helps to support the cells in your gastrointestinal tract and regulate bowel functions - ideal to help with digestive system problems like weight loss, diarrhea, and Inflammatory Bowel Disease"
Inca had a big problem with weight loss He has lost 5 lbs. He put on a few pounds and maintains now. My vet is happy. Inca has a flare ups on the down time from SeaCure and you can tell cuz he just sits and doesn't move or talk to me, But after the first Seacure night he starts talking and the second night he is causing trouble. So he feels better from it.
YOU MUST TRY IT !!! Inca won't be forsed anything so I put the scoop into a can of Wellness and since he can't smell it he eats it up !
My dog loves the taste and it's really works for his IBD .
I have a 9yr old sheltie that has suffered with bouts of colitis since he was a puppy. Being a vet tech, I tried traditional therapies; flagyl, bland diet, fasting; with little success. A friend told me about seacure; she used it with her golden who has IBD and it was helpful. I honestly don't know how I came upon your website to order the product, but, I can only say that it has been a God send for my boy. The tablets are easy, convenient and economical to give and most of all it works!!! He gets 1 a day and he has been diarrhea free since April 2006. If he does get a little loose, I can safely give him 2 or 3 (1 tablet per 10lbs) a day and it takes care of it overnight.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who has a dog with this type of problem.
