My cat is very finicky so I have to force this
into his mouth. Not fun for either of us, but
seems to be worth the effort & expense since his
hairballs seem to be diminishing. I feel much better about not giving him a petroleum-based product. It does need to be stored in the refrigerator rather than at room temperature in our climate.
I use this product on our english bull terrier after he has eaten to many bones or rawhide. It gets things out and gets rid of the gas
I am thankful that this stuff exists as an alternative to the other hairball treatment formulas.
My kitty is extremely fluffy and needs help with furballs frequently!
She doesn't love the taste--I have to hold her,and scoop it right onto her tongue so she'll swallow it down. However, she is quite particular about all foods and treats, and
compared to the alternative of being glared at for the rest of the day/evenong and running in fear as she did with the other brands, it's a BIG improvement!
My only complaint was that it comes out of the tube runny, until I, the genius, figured out to store it in the refrigerator! Now it's fine.
Maybe they could put that on the packaging, so others wouldn't be discouraged.
I'd rather have that than some unhealthy additive
to make it more "gel-like".
