I used this cautiously at first since I read another review about how some dogs can’t tolerate Meadowsweet but my dog is fine on it. It helps with his arthritis of the spine and he is 16 years old. I do recommend with the caution regarding the Meadowsweet since I do have another dog who can’t handle the herb.

We use the Pain Plus product on our Pet Pot Pelly Pig with great results. The reviews in reference to using Rimadal for joint pain alerted me to this product. Petunia was on Rimadal for 3 years after having surgery on her front shoulder and it was not that effective anymore. After giving our pig this product, we saw increased activity and quickness that was not present 5 days before. She was able to move with less stumbling and was very quick to repond to calls for food and treats. Petunia is 7 years old and has been on Pain Plus for 3 months with no side effects. The pleasant results have allowed Petunia a pain free casual life of a family pet.

PAIN PLUS HAS HELPED WITH THE CERVICLE PROBLEMS THAT SHE HAS ENCOUNTERED IN ADDITION WITH HER ARTHRITIS. WHERE "RYMADIL" MADE NO DIFFERENCE - "PAIN PLUS" HAS MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE!

Rosie is a 10 years old mixed retriever with arthitis and bladder problems, but a very happy dog. Pain Plus is part of her regimen twice a day. In the morning, I give her her pills by coating them with peanut butter - and she loves them (like a treat!). In the evening, I split the pill (with her other pills) and mix into her food that includes a powder mixture of Senior Vitamins and Enzymes and the joint powder. She doesn't have any complaints.!

I have a nine year old miniature schnauzer who has been suffering from arthritis in his spine and joints for over 2 years now. I have tried everything on the market that says "natural." Until I tried this product, there were no success stories. This really works. Pepper gets one tablet in the morning with his breakfast and one at night with his dinner and he's like a new dog. He's playing with his little sister, running around in the yard. Before I started him on this formula, I couldn't touch his back, sides or hips at all he was in so much pain. Now I can pet him anywhere. It took about a week for him to really feel relief that stayed with him but it's great! The vets had him on steroids (which didn't work), pain pills, muscle relaxers, and nothing worked. Thank you for making this product available to those of us who have dogs with arthritic pain. It's wonderful!

My 16 year-old Springer Spaniel has arthritis and had slowed down considerably. He had a bad reaction to the vet's pharmaceutical so I looked elsewhere. After starting him on Lubri-Ease Plus, I noticed he still had pain. This product did the trick. No more whimpering and he moves around well for an old dog

I will try anything, go anywhere, pay anything to ease the pain and suffering of my 12 year old Labrador. His arthritis had gotten so bad, he would not attempt the stairs. Then I was given some Pain Plus from my Holistic Vet. Within two days, Rudy began walking up and down stairs. When the bottle ran out, I didn't get more...then two weeks later, I noticed he was back to not doing stairs again. I ordered another bottle and AMAZINGLY, two days later, he is again walking up and down stairs. I won't let him run out of this again. It's the only thing I have found that really helps. If you feel like I do, give it a try. IT's wonderful to see him smile again when it's time for our walks.

My 15 year old Bear was near death from Rimadyl and Tramadol. His liver enzymes went from normal (100-313) to over 2400! He was bleeding when he pooped and it was black. I decided not to continue these medications after all; I knew that they were somewhat dangerous. The vet couldn't come up with an alternative for pain meds that would not also further compromise his liver, but in the meantime he put him on a liver-strengthening pill that returned his liver to normal (110) within 6 weeks! But I still needed to find a pain med to help him after arthrities had claimed his front legs, both broken in car accident at age 7 mos. Now with Plain Plus, my dog is like puppy again. He's relatively pain free, is active and engaged, takes long walks again, and he's seems to be feeling great! I thank the Universe that I have discovered this medication and especially, this company!

The Pain Plus pills were prescribed by a holistic veternarian who also specialized in acupuncture and chiropractics for dogs.
My 4 yr old Aussie has hip dysplasia. I've given him the Pain Plus as a supplement, along with daily Glucosamine/MSM treatment. These two treatments along with regular, but low impact exercise have made a huge difference in his mobility. No limping, and only mild stiffness in a mile long walk. Before Pain Plus, it was impossible to walk him even a quarter mile without limping for the next few hours.

i stopped using the product for a few weeks and could tell that my dog's condition deteriorated, so i went back to using it again, it does help relieve the pain

My vet took my dog Inga (13) off of Rimadyl, because it was seriously effecting her liver. The codiene and tramadol they gave her in replacement didn't make a dent in her pain.It also made her constipated and just plain miserable. She hardly moved around at all. I bought this stuff as a last resort before I put her back on the rimadyl (which was going to shorten her life, but I'd rather her be happy). I give her a tiny bit over the amount recommended and in addition a high dose of glucosimine and high quality food. Her liver which was swollen has gone back to normal and she's lost all the water weight she was carring. Though she still limps as she did when on the Rimadyl.. she's back to her happy mischivious self. Im VERY impressed with this stuff and so thankful I found it.. I highly recommend it!

Our dog is an 18 months old labrador retriever. He has elbow dsplaysia. This Pain Plus is better than the medication the vet prescribed as that would have what we called "kick-back"...our dog would feel better then act like a totally crazy dog and hurt himself. It was vicious cycle. Plain asprin didn't affect his discomfort at all....this has brought back the puppy! He is happy, energetic and best of all doesn't overdo....This is the best find....We have recommended it to our other lab friends.

My dog has a joint support & arthritis issues in her back leg. She limps after walks and is sore to get up from her bed. I have tried so many pharmaceutical pain killers and natural options and I've found that this product, combined with glucosamine & condroitin, visably helps her pain and discomfort. The Pain Plus tablets are also very tasty (to her) & she begs for them like treats!

This was highly recommended by my holistic veternarian whom I trust completely, so I don't believe this is a bad product. She said she had never seen an adverse affect and my dog seemed to feel great for a couple of days. However, my dog had profuse bleeding after using this product for about 4 days. Meadowsweet has salicin which is similar to the ingredient in asprin. It appears that my dog is very sensitive to asprin. Watch your pet carefully.
I had to rate this in order to review it, but I don't feel my rating is fair. I know that it works well for other dogs.
