While these work very well, please note that the first ingredient in the BEEF pockets is chicken. When I wrote to the manufacturer, they stated that it has real beef flavoring. Just something good to know if your dog is sensitive to poultry products. Mine is, but tolerates one pill pocket per day very well.

My husband and I were a bit worried when our elder husky wouldn't take her antibiotic capsules. We got a bag of the large Pill Pockets and were surprised at how you can wrap the Pill Pocket completely around the capsule enclosing it and making it non-detectable to the dog. They are really soft, chewy treats and our dog loved them! She ate them right down without hesitation capsule and all. Many thanks to Only Natural Pet Store!

I have owned several Austrian Shepards. Ever one has been difficult to pill. Not with "Pill Pockets" You just slip them inside the pocket and rub it around the palm of your hand. And here they are witing for them and take the pill much easier.
Our older dog has arthritis and thyroid problems and the Pill Pockets have made it so easy to administer the medications he needs. He swallows them right down (instead of eating the outside meat we hid them in and spitting out the pill as he did in the past). The pockets are soft and moist like playdoh and can be broken apart and small pieces molded around the tablets or capsules; so one large pocket can cover 4 or 5 smaller pills which makes them last longer.

These don't work with large pills like vitamin/mineral combos. But I can put 2 -3 smaller pills in, and she goes for it every time.

I really like the pill pockets in all the different sizes. Used them for my dogs. I always try to hide the pills, etc. in food to get them to take it. These are so easy to use, I not only put a pill in them, I also put liquid medication in them too. What a find in these. The only thing, is they do crumble easy. I found one or two that I couldn't use, they had crumbled apart in the bag.

Each of my dogs must take a pill each morning and they can't wait. They consider this a treat not a necessary medication.

I use Pill Pockets to give my dogs Glucosamine and anti-inflamitories for Arthritis, that I had to force them to take before I started to use the Pill Pockets. Now they just eat the pills right down. I would highly recommend these to everyone. My older Shih Tzu had several medications that he needed to take every day. He had become quite proficient at eating the delivery method, but he always managed to spit the pill out. Voila! Our doggy cardiologist told us about the Pill Pockets and we had great success with them.

I know these have worked very well for many people and I was hoping they would work well for me but my pup just spits them out. I just adopted her from a shelter and she came home with worms. Needless to say neither of us were thrilled with having to give her the dewormer. I was hoping these would help with the pills since the typical home remedies didn't work (peanut butter, cheese, turkey, etc.) but shed just pick them up and spit them out. she wont even touch the empty ones. I'm glad these worked for some, just wish they did for me.

I have an Akita who is very picky about what she will put in her mouth and who has many chronic conditions that require constant medication. Not a good combination. These totally solved the problem. She takes these instantly with the pill inside, barely chews it and it is gone. She normally chews things very thoroughly which has always made it impossible to hide the pills in anything. Not these. Thank you Greenies for a great product.

Whoever invented these is my hero. As the owner of a senior dog with a weakend heart,I depend on Pill Pockets to remove the unpleasantness from giving medication. Instead of stressing my dog out by force-feeding her the medication, she actually looks forward to it and sometimes reminds me when it's time. As the owner of a rescued dog, I highly recommend them. I don't know exactly what my dog experienced prior to our meeting but I do know that she came from a very bad situation where she was starving to death. She has gained weight and is recovering physically from her ordeal, but other scars remain. If I try to force her to do anything, she becomes terrified, and tries to get away from me at any expense. At any other time, she is my shadow. So, Pill Pockets enable me to give her her medication without traumatizing her any more.

Our beagle has been on various pills and herbal supplements for his lymphoma treatment and other illnesses. He actually "dances" for his twice daily pills in his pill pockets. The other dogs want them as well. Pill Pockets have made giving pills as easy as giving treats.

My friend's 15yr old mixed breed dog had to take Rymidel for her stiffness. They told me that I could wrap it in cheese, but I found that the dog doesn't like cheese and therefore, I had difficulties giving her her pill. I ordered the pill pockets and it arrived super fast, I was surprised. I was also amazed at how much the dog loved it. It made my job caring for my friend's dog so much easier.

I opened the package (I ordered four) and found the pill pockets to be unusable. They were in pieces and very soft to the touch. I have bought this product in my vet's office previously and never had a problem.

I'm so glad I found this. This has got to be one of the best ideas to come around. The beef flavor, my dog absolutely loves. Our dog knows the sound of the rustling package now and comes running; it even woke him up out of a deep sleep. While the pockets don't smell the best, my dog literally drools when I touch the package of pockets. Giving him pills now are a breeze. For the amount I go through, I just wish they were cheaper or provided more pockets.

Mrs.Pitts, our little crazy terrier mix, is epileptic and has to take lots of pills everyday. Peanut butter works, cheese works, but nothing is as easy as Pill Pockets. They are the best. Mrs. Pitts loves Pill Pockets and doesn't even suspect pills are hidden inside. She hasn't cheeked a pill since we started using them!

Pill pockets are one of the best products I have had the pleasure to use in the 20 years that I have had dogs. The dogs take the pill pockets readily. It is a great medication delivery product.
