How to Handle Lumps on a Beagle
Question:
My 10-year-old female beagle, who is in good health, has been prone to benign tumors her entire life. Once she had a malignant tumor in her mouth which was treated. Is there anything that might prevent her system from producing these? I am looking into purchasing your antioxidant tablets.
Answer:
For benign tumors I would suggest you evaluate her diet and supplement with antioxidants. The first thing to address is diet. Nutrition can help support overall health, so the better the diet, the more you can support your dog's immune system.
In addition to the best possible diet, giving her a good natural dog supplement, like an antioxidant, can help support her immune system and maintain skin health as well.
You also might want to consult with a holistic veterinarian in your area. If there is not a holistic veterinarian within reasonable distance of your home, many of them do phone consultations.
