We call this one Laughy Taffy. A must have in the treat cupboard. Creates the biggest lip stretching smile during consumption, hence Laughy Taffy. Another win for Merrick Pet Care.

We give this about 1 to 2 times a week. The dogs love it and it is not too filling. Also there are no small nubs left over that could be a choking hazard. When we visit friends or family we alway bring them along as a treat. They serve as a distraction as well as a little bit of home to help the dogs relax and not be so hyper by going to a new place.

50 lb vigorous chewer finished this in 15-20 min. Good entertainment and distraction for my girl, she loved it. I watch her chew whenever she gets a chewy toy. This broke off in thin and soft/flexible pieces. Great exercise for her jaw!

I have never seen a dog as excited about any treat as my dogs once they discovered Texas Taffy. The texture seems to be just about right -not tough, not brittle or breaking down into a soggy mess. It's suitable for tough chewers and more delicate biters as well. It is a satisfying, one sitting chew; you won't find it lying around the next day. My vigorous chewer knocks it down in about 30 minutes. My less aggressive chewer finishes it off in about an hour. It must be very satisfying for there is never a scrap left. I always watch my dogs when I give them chew treats. The texture seems to separate smoothly with no sharp chunks to choke on.

This is the ultimate treat for my boys. They weigh about 12 lbs so I usually cut one of the taffy strips in half. It keeps them VERY busy so I reserve this as a treat for something really special or when I really need them to be VERY busy!! And they're beef, which my veterinarian recommended. Love these!

My one yr old Jack Russell is crazy about it! I used to buy it at a local pet store, but it's cheaper through this website. Now I have it autoshipped. I cut each taffy in half and he gets it ususally after every meal and as a night snack. It's a bit pricey, but as long as he enjoys it and it's natural and healthy, I'll keep buying it. We're getting another dog in a month, so I'll probably order more in the future.
