Prozyme Plus Enzyme Food Supplement is an all natural, plant-derived digestive enzyme supplement for all companion animals, especially dogs and cats. Prozyme Plus utilizes a proprietary lactose-free formulation of specially cultured enzymes to increase the absorption of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids from pet food. Its effectiveness has been scientifically proven. This palatable powder formula is excellent for pets needing digestive support that are allergic or sensitive to dairy products

Enzymes are really the key to good nutrition. Even if you fed your pets an ample supply of vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates, fats and protein, without the enzymes to break them down, most would pass right through their digestive systems and not be absorbed. Why waste these valuable nutrients? Just add Prozyme and help your pet get more nutrition from the same amount of food. Prozyme adds the dietary enzymes so your pets can fully break down the nutrient in food that are essential to their health.

Prozyme is not going to turn junk food into something nutritious - it only increases the absorption of nutrients that are already in the food. Prozyme helps extract many of those nutrients your pet may not have been able to absorb before. Thus, Prozyme increases the nutritional value of whatever you feed your pets, and your pet stays healthier, livelier, and happier.

Prozyme Plus is as beneficial to the young pet requiring extra nutrition as it is to an older pet whose system no longer adequately absorbs nutrients. This is just one reason why Prozyme Plus is the best choice for an enzyme supplement. Your veterinarian will confirm how important this is to your pets.

Available in 100 g (approx. 3.5 oz) and 300 g (approx. 10.5 oz) powder. There are 80 servings in a 100 g bottle and 240 servings in a 300 g bottle.

Comments about Prozyme Plus Lactose-Free Enzyme Food Supplement:

My 9 1/2 yr old Jack Russell, Buffy was diagnosed in February 2017 of having diabetes with elevated liver, elevated bladder, & very high cholesterol, my vet recommended she start taking 1 enzyme per day before she start her liver meds, she's been on the enzyme for about 2 weeks now and will be starting her other meds next week. So far her stomach has not bothered her at all, no spitting up or anything, so looks like she's tolerated it very well.

Comments about Prozyme Plus Lactose-Free Enzyme Food Supplement:

I used Prozyme as a Giardia treatment on my cats. It worked like a charm and over a year later, no recurrences (retested all cats multiple times)!
Prozyme is the perfect product for this kind of treatment, as it contains the right mix of enzymes - all plant based and only the basics (both points very important).

I am thankful for the lactose free version, as my oldest cat is lactose intolerant!

Comments about Prozyme Plus Lactose-Free Enzyme Food Supplement:

I have three dogs one with heart disease & hypothyroid, one with diabetes & one 2 year old. The two older dogs would sometimes throw up yellow bile so I decided to try the enzymes & found out they do not throw up any more. All three get a spoonful with each kibble meal twice a day.

Comments about Prozyme Plus Lactose-Free Enzyme Food Supplement:

My 8 year old rescue Golden had a terrible GI system due to multiple surgeries with heavy antibiotics/pain meds. I tried the raw diet and it was tough, still GI issues. I started with Prozyme Plus and gradually went back to the raw diet. It has been almost a year, and he has had firm stools (no mucous!!), smaller poops (he's 90 pounds) and his digestion process is wonderful. He never burps or has gas. I firmly believe he is getting all the nutrients from his food as well. Easy to use, just make sure you add a bit of water if feeding dry!

I used this product for my 13 year mini schnauzer when he had pancreatitis.
The enzymes helped him digest his food. Without it, he would not have been able to regain his strength and weight. Used it along with probiotics
powder to also aid in digestion.

Good stuff, don't use too much though, makes the food bland-don't ask me how I know this-really helped my 11 years old cat with getting solid stool. Recommend it. You can't go wrong.

Comments about Prozyme Plus Lactose-Free Enzyme Food Supplement:

I read that this has a substantial portfolio of clinical testing to prove it does what it's designed to do. I read that the Mayo clinic was one of those testers. I came across it in Martin Goldstein, DVM, book The Nature Of Animal Healing and he just makes sense to me. I found this site and now things are working well for the health of my Chow, Teddy. I combine this with Ark, Gentle Digest and Teddy has recovered from intermittent digestive troubles and I really feel glad to have found this product.
