My 12 year old hound mix NEVER sleeps through thunder and lightning storms. He pants and paces and is clearly distressed. This last time, he SLEPT THROUGH the storm! He wasn't knocked out, just calm enough to sleep. Amazing!

Love Happy Traveler product. It is the only one I have found so far that is actually effective without knocking my dog out. I highly recommend it for it's all natural ingredients. Everything in it is good enough for a human which is definitely what I want to give my pet.

One of my dogs has thunderstorm anxiety, so May through September in the southeast means almost daily panic attacks for her. I tried a couple of things for her last summer: Melatonin had inconsistent results, but a calming chew by Pet Naturals was surprisingly effective. When I went to buy more last week the store was out of them, so I bought the Happy Traveler Formula. Much like the melatonin, there seems to be no real effect. It might take the edge off a bit, but it doesn't keep her from panting and franticaly searching for somewhere to hide when a storm is near. My cousin is a vet in Germany and she recommends the ingredients in the Happy Traveler Formula, but it just doesn't seem to work for my girl. I'm glad I found the pet naturals chews on this site!

This product definitely helps relax our dogs. One of our dogs has trouble settling down on rainy days due to her high energy and Happy Traveler helps her relax. It will not THE answer for a dog that is highly stressed, but it can be combined with other things just as excercise and play to help your dog reach a state of calm.

I bought this to have on hand for traveling with our newly rescued dog. We used it for another dog that got real hyper when we traveled with her and it worked great.

I gave the recommended dosage but it did not seem to have much of an effect. Only noticed a slight effect on one dog. The pills are large and for big dogs you have to give several. Overall, I didn't think this product was worth what I paid for it.

Got this product to ease my anxious, scaredy-dog's stress while having our house painted. Normally she would be barking, whining, and running around the house if someone was outside making noises. Now she is peacefully laying around, only occasionally looking up. Used once before and she was calm but not too drowsy to go to the park and play after a few hours. To get her to swallow the capsules I put them in peanut butter.

My 10 month old Morkie puppy is very nervous and anxious in the car. During his first car trip he spent the first 3 hours in the car shaking and panting until he wore himself out. Even then, he could only nap for short periods of time and was easily disturbed. Today was his first trip that I used this product. I gave it to him about 45 minutes before getting in the car and it worked great! He never shook at all or had any signs of nervousness or anxiety. He was able to sleep soundly for long periods of time and was very relaxed upon reaching our destination. The best part, this product did not have any of the nasty side effects typically associated with a prescription drug. He was not drowsy or woozy. Just calm and content, as we always hoped he would be. I highly recommend trying this product for anyone with a pet suffering from travel anxiety. My dog weighs 6 pounds and the first initial dosage was enough to last all day without having to give him another one.

Hi just wanted to let you know that Happy Traveler did the trick. I have long haired Maine Coons and summer time is the worst for their shedding and surprise hair balls all over the house. So I gave them all lion cuts. I've done it before without Happy Traveler and let's say my bloody arm was proof that it was not a happy experience for them or me. I originally was going to get prescription sedatives from my vet, but I didn't want them taking unnecessary drugs just for grooming. Happy Traveler doesn't knock them out. It just makes them a more laid back about the buzz cut. And the nail trimming was a lot better also. And maybe the best part was that they were not mad at me for days afterwards. Right away they were loving to me and loving their new regal looks. I would definitely recommend it to a friend. The hardest part was just trying to get them to take the pill. I think I'll be buying some pill pockets for that. Thank you.
