I have an English bulldog who is a powerful chewer. I bought one of these as a test before committing to more, since they are a bit pricey. She finished it in less than 5 minutes (that's [$] gone in 5 minutes).I took it out of her mouth to see the state of the treat, and the half that she had been working on was really soft. I can't give her rawhide for the same reason: she'll make the whole thing soggy with her chewing and then choke on it. I cut the soggy portion into pieces and let her have the other half. Again, the whole thing was gone in 5 minutes...I'm still searching for a chew that lasts a reasonable amount of time for my dog.

I use this in between other treats. This way she doesn't get board with any of her healthy treats. Plus I got my firends dog on them.

I have 3 dogs and could easily spend $100+/month on these curly-q's alone. The dogs LOVE them, especially the thicker ones. I've tried all shapes and sizes and thicknesses and these are the ones the dogs go for every time. I have to save them as special treats or I would go broke! One dog has a sensitive digestive system and the curly-q's are the one chew I can always give him. This shape does get caught in the dogs' paws, it's kind of funny--but I've had to pull them off the paws a couple of times :). I'm not always in the same room as the dogs when they chew on these but I am home and they have choked a couple of times but were able to dislodge the chew on their own. I take them away when they get down to 1/2 inch.

I have been given my little maltese this tendons and he loves them. If they are too thick he has hard time chewing them, so I prefer the thin ones.
The smell is not good when they are in the package but I suppose it is why the dogs love them

My jack russell and toy poodle think these are the best chews ever. I have tried several brands that they just leave laying around the house, but these curly q's are chewed until they are all gone. I also have the problem with greedy doggy syndrome - the jack finishes his and tries to take the poodle's, but she's pretty good at holding her own. These chews are also free range beef, so they are good quality, and they don't have alot of basting to stain the carpets and furniture.

This is the only chewie that MAXX really goes after. He is a mini-poodle that we adopted a year ago and does not respond to treats at all.

usually order the Merrick Flossies, and tried these, they are just as good and my dogs can't get enough of them, feels great to know they are good for them too!

My dogs love these treats! They are little expensive so I did not give them out every day, but the pups sure were happy when I did.
