My elderly cat started going outside the litter box. Since using this litter, he rarely goes outside the litter box. I now only use this litter and I am satisfied.

This seems to work. My elderly cat was having accidents, going outside his litter box. Since I started using this litter, he rarely has an accident. I do need to change all of the litter in his pan about every 2 - 3 weeks in order for it to continue working.

My older cat, who was 15 at the time had started urinating outside the litter box. I had another male cat at the time who was partially responsible for this b/c he would chase her right as she would exit the litter box. So I had to get a brand new litter box just for her(so it wouldn't have the other cats smell scratched into it) and put it up away from the other cats so just she could access it. This worked for the most part but she would still occasionally go outside of the box.

It wasn't until I found Dr. Elsey's Cat Attract that she stopped going outside the box! And this is the BEST litter for clumping!! I cannot stress that enough, I have tried so many different cat litters and nothing clumps like this does! Absolutely amazing!

I continued use of the cat litter for about 2months, then went back to what I was originally using and my cat still has not had any more accidents. The only con is it is very expensive, I wish I could afford to use it all the time but I can't. It's great to use if you need to get a cat back to the box and then transition back into your regular not so expensive litter.

I've been having a problem with one of my cats not wanting to use the litter box, preferring to use a corner of the living room instead. I read great reviews of Cat Attract and hoped it would help. I was disappointed that it had no effect at all. None of my three cats showed any special interest in this litter. One good thing about the litter is that the clumping is great -- but that's hardly enough to warrant spending the big bucks for it.

I bought this for 2 kittens 4 to 5 months old that had been peeing out of the litter boxes occassionally.
They really seem to like it. They prefer it over my regular litter and even like to just dig, sit and actually just lay in it at times.
And it actually has worked well.
But I am looking for another litter hoping I can convince them to use something else due to the fact that if they step in the pee spot they end up with a cement boot or if they get into the shower while its wet after a shower and get into the box they have multiple cement boots.
And because one of my older cats seems to think its a treat and will sit and eat it.
I called the company and they said that more than likely my cat liked the herbs they used in it.
He doesn't munch on his normal litter only the Dr Elseys.
So again I would highly recommend it cause it works as promised but be careful and watch your cats closely to make sure they don't think its candy or some ummy other treat.
And also watch out for the cement boots.
For these two reason I only gave it 4 stars.
It works but you have to be careful with it too.

All of a sudden I had a problem with a male cat that started to spray all around the litter box area. After I washed the area with water and bleach, purchased new litter boxes, and then filled the boxes with Cat Attract, he went automatically into the box and has not had another accident. It works great!

This is pretty much the only litter I've found where I can be sure that *all* my cats, including foster cats with unknown history, will use it without fail. I sprinkle a fresh layer over the box every so often to refresh it.

I am out of the house a lot and don't get to scoop the box every day. The cat's will use this product much longer without scooping than any other I have used (3-5 days). I wish it was cheaper but I won't bother with another kind.

My cat had a blockage, so he started holding his urine because he was afraid of any potential pain. As soon as I started using this, his habit changed. He loves it! I am now taking care of a friend's pet who was messing outside her box. I set her up with this and she has used her box continuously ever since. It is not cheap, but it beats the destruction of a cat using other spots in the house.

For some reason our cat wouldn't use the litter box in the #2 sense (although she would urinate in it!?) My husband and I couldn't figure it out and for months we tried everything! Right when I put this litter in the box, she went in it (I seriously almost cried!). And she's gone in it ever since. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
