This is the only product I've found to help relieve coughing. My mini-dachshund has an airway/esophageal valve problem, so she coughs a lot. This helps her tremendously. She's not crazy about the taste, so it can be a bit messy to administer directly into her mouth - she tries to fling it out - but otherwise I've found no "cons" or downside with this. Even our vet is impressed with this, & since it's all natural, I don't have to worry about negative side effects.

I was hoping this would help my dogs cough so I could get him off the vet prescribed pills (and antibiotics), but it did nothing for the poor guy. I will try another product or several combined.

We have an older pomeranian that was just diagnosed with an enlarged heart which would require heart medication for the remainder of his life. The cough was the first indicator of this condition and it continued for two months after the heart medication was administered. We didn't realize that this was something that needed cough medicine for and we did not feel comfortable giving our little 4.5 pound dog a cough syrup that is really for people. I got to thinking and realized that I had some of this Homeopathic Cough for animals and we started to give him 5 drops in the am and pm. He has done wonderful. His cough his diminished substantially and both the dog and ourselves cannot be happier. We feel very comfortable with this product. I have also given it to my schipperke who has allergies from time to time and it works for him too! Thank you.

I haven't had good experiences with homeopathic products myself, but our 14-year-old Dalmatian ("Tanya") was coughing so badly I broke down and ordered "Homeopet Cough". Our veterinarian had prescribed "Temaril P" but the cough was still bothering her and we were worried about the liver damage attributed to the use of this drug. After giving Tanya 10 drops from 3 to 5 times daily (depending on the severity of her cough) for 10 days, I'm happy to report that the cough has pretty much cleared up! We still can't believe our ears that after 3 years we're not waking up hearing her coughing or enduring her cough attacks during walks or after she gets up from her bed or after greeting people at the door or ... This product is truly amazing, particularly since even the vet told me that if "Temaril P" doesn't help her, nothing would. "Homeopet Cough" is so gentle that I was told by a homeopath that I could administer it more than the three times that are recommended on the product directions.
