My Golden loves these bones. Long after the meat is off of them he continues to chew on them. One word of caution. I only give these to him when I am home. He has chewed the ends off and once this caused his stomach to be upset.

Got some of these for my 7 month old pup to chew on in his crate while I had work to do or couldn't give him attention. They fit the bill! He'll spend a good 2 hours chewing and gnawing on one of these before he tires out his jaws and takes a nap.

They have muscle/tendon and skin still on them my dog likes tearing all that off. At first I though that the tendon was bone because it was so hard, but once the dog chews on it for a bit it softens up and he eats it without a problem.

There are two smaller "knuckle" bones that I take away from my dog once he separates them from the main bone so that he doesn't swallow them or beak them and swallow a piece.

Great Bone, it lasts a long time, I have a great dane and it took him awhile to chew this and even when most of the meat was gone he was still gnawing on just the bone..its been like 3 weeks and the bone is still hanging around and he will gnaw on it now and then

This bone is fabulous. My lab will go at it for at least an hour, then again the next few days! I would recommend having your dog eat this bone where you don't mind a little mess, perhaps on his own pad or bed. Don't worry though, he will surely eat up the crumbs too.

I have two puppies that are power chewers (newfoundlands) and had been looking for a strong, long-lasting item of interest. The Sarge is perfect - it keeps there interest. I didn't think my other dogs would be interested, but they snatched them as soon as they had the chance! All the dogs enjoy the big Sarge - will have to order more!
