I had a 12 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier and an American Pit Bull Terrier (11 at that time) around the time of the dog food problems. I changed to a brand I thought was okay but turns out it had been bought out by a large company and the food was garbage. My Staffy died of liver failure from that food and my Pit Bull also got sick from it. I thought he was gone too. I changed to Newman's and my Pit Bull rallied and is now healthy and active (now 15). We have a 4 year old American Bulldog on the Adult formula and he is thriving. This is good food.

My dog is 9 years old and has never liked dry dog food by itself. I always have to mixed it with wet food. This is the first dog food she likes dry - without having to mix it with canned food. She also has a lot of food allergies, and this food does not contain any of her allergens.

My dog a Rotweiller we named "Poppa" became sick, with digestion and elimination problems. The vet stated we should consider food for senior dogs. I could not find Newman's Own (I trust the name) for senior dogs in the pet shops. A staff person in one of the stores suggested I should look into the Internet and I found Only Natural Pet Store! Poppa liked Newman's Own from the very start, and we are so happy that his digestion has improved tremendously because of it. He looks and behaves more energetic, and his coat is shiny and beautiful. I base my dog food selection for my dogs on a few things: digestibility, overall nutrition, and ingredients list to name a few. Newman's Own Advanced Formula Dry Dog food meets all of these.

With the economy, we were looking for an economical, but healthy dog food for our older puppy. He has a sensitive stomach and allergies to corn. We tried him on high dollar name brand foods, but they caused him to vomit or have diarrhea (even after slowly introducing the food), or break out with an allergic reaction.

Newman's Own didn't do any of these things, and our dog loves it. It's healthy. It doesn't have corn, etc. in it, and you can find it readily available.

My dogs are older so I have them on the dry senior diet. I have tried many, many natural dog foods, and find that they seem to be the healthiest on this one. Easily digestible, tasty and no health problems as I was having with some other brands.

I believe this product is mostly organic, which cuts out a lot of GEO's which I try to eliminate from my pets' diet as much as possible.

The results speak for themselves, I feel very lucky to have found this senior food.

My dog has a sensitive digestive system, but this food does not get her going (if you know what I mean). She has firmer stools, less gas, good breath, and less of a tendency to throw up. Plus, no worries over tainted food from China since it is made here by Paul Newman with all profits going to dog charities. What could be better than that?!
