L-Ergothioneine in Super Immunity cannot be created by a mammal’s body, however, it has a special transport system made specifically to transport L-Ergo to where it’s needed. While the scientific reasoning as to why it’s so effective is very complicated, the short explanation is that it contains 7,000 times the amount of Trolox ( a water-soluble Vitamin E analogue) per unit of water-soluble Vitamin E. What this means is L-Ergo has the potential to provide antioxidant protection to your pet's cells at a much higher ratio than more commonly known antioxidants like Vitamin E.

In addition, L-Ergo helps to reduce activity of reactive oxygen molecules and may help stimulate red blood cell production. L-Ergothioneine helps fight the oxidative stress caused by free radicals that attack your pet’s system on a daily basis. Stress, aging and/or poor nutrition can cause metabolic cell degradation which leads to a weaker immune system.

Selenium:  Assists in fighting the cellular stress of free radicals and aging.
