To my dismay, this product did nothing for my cat. I hoped this would help prevent recurrent UTIs, but the product did not work.

Now I just buy the cranberries, chop them up into small pieces, and put them in her food a few times a week. She seems to love those! And real cranberries and (sometimes) blueberries are what she seems to love eating with her food. :)

I would just buy the real thing--it's much cheaper, although a bit more time consuming when you count the chopping.

My little kitty was suffering from Struvite crystals. I noticed she was going to her litter box A LOT (thank the Lord it was her litter box and not the carpet) so I took her into the vet for what I thought was a UTI (she's had a few before). After $500 they told me there was no bacteria but crystals were present and they wanted to put her on Prozac for behavioral urinating. I refused to put my happy kitty on Prozac. I switched her from dry kibble to grain free wet food along with the recommended dose of Berry Balance - she was better in less than a week! She doesn't like it in her food so I use an oral syringe and give it to her that way. I highly recommend this product! :)

Its not very often that I go back to a website and leave a review, but when I'm really satisfied with a product I like to pass the good news on. To understand this product I have to tell my story, i have a 2 year old male tabby cat named saber-tooth. One week we noticed he was crying when he went to the catbox, then in the next few days he started to try to pee on the rugs. We took our boy to the vet and found out he had a uti and a blockage (which can be fatal). they wanted him monitored for the weekend so he had to go to the pet emergency center. They put him on pain killer, anti biotic, and muscle relaxer. We brought him home and the next day he started peeing on things again. We took him back to the vet again and they made sure he wasn't blocked and gave him steroids. Over the next week he showed no improvements and started peeing blood. We took him to the vet a third time and was basically given three choices 3 additional medications (which upon my research i found to be anti depressants and anti anxiety med) a 500 dollar plus surgery that may or may not work or putting our cat to sleep. At this point my wife and i had over 1000 dollars into vet and medication bills in two weeks. My sister sent me to this site, for roughly 50 dollars i bought tinkle tonic and berry balance supplements.It was my last resort i had nothing to lose. I started to give them to him 2 times a day with wet food and as corny as it sounds like a miracle within a few days he changed like night to day. The blood in his urine cleared up, he was acting more like himself and not having any accidents. The difference with these and what the doctor gave us, is this actually helps fix the problem rather then just ease the symptoms. It has been 4 months with no problems, thanks so much for saving our cats life.

My dog had struvite(sp?) crystals in her urine and also some blood. She went from a pH of 8 down to a 5 (normal) and no crystals! She was on this straight for about two months, now just maintenance. This product is awesome with no side effects!

My one female cat has had on & off again urinary tract problems. I was taking her to the vet every 60 or so days it seemed. I started her on a regimen of urinary tract specific dry food, spring water, and adding Berry Balance to her wet food twice a day. Everything together has helped her. She was able to go a full year without seeing the vet. Hallelujah!!

Combined with the urinary relief pills and a diet low in Ph my cat, who has had blockages before, has not developed crystals. When symptoms did emerge an increase in the dosage took care of the problem within a day. Before that I had costly veterinarian procedures and extended hospital stays.

Shortly after adopting her, I found out my dog had a UTI and bladder stones (uroliths). She had pricey surgery to get the stones removed. The vet said that the stones would keep coming back if we didn't switch her to special "prescription" dog food meant to prevent the problem. Problem was, the dog food was poor quality, with the first ingredient being corn. I decided against the prescription food and gave her a high quality dog food instead (Taste of the Wild). I started adding Berry Balance to her food twice a week and also started giving her tinkle tonic. She absolutely loves the taste.
It's been seven months now, and I have had her urine checked twice by the vet. The last report I got from the vet (about two weeks ago) was that her urine sample looked great, and was even a little acidic (the original stones had formed because her urine was too alkaline).
She also hasn't gotten any more UTIs and is doing great.

2 months ago my 8yr old male Tuxedo Cat almost blocked with heavy Struvite crystals in his urine. 1 month of the special crystal dissolving diet, and he was back in the vet's office with significant urine irritation. I started on the Tinkle Tonic & the Berry Balance twice daily, and after one month of both products, he seems to be doing so much better! He plays and purrs and is happy. whew!

I started adding a little at a time to his food, and dissolved the remaining dose in water and administered with a syringe into his mouth for 2 weeks. Now I can add the whole dose to his wet food and he eats eats it. no problem. I plan on continuing with twice a day for 3 months, and then possibly moving to once a day for maintenance.
