Berry Balance is a natural powder supplement containing cranberry and blueberry extract to help support a healthy functioning urinary tract. It can be very helpful for dogs and cats prone to struvite crystals and bladder infections. This product helps to balance the urinary tract pH and dissolve struvite crystals, which may develop in urine if it is too alkaline.

Cranberries and blueberries contain a substance called hippuric acid, which has been shown in recent studies to have antibacterial activity. This helps  prevent bacteria such as E-coli from adhering to the bladder wall.

Cranberry powder, blueberry powder, beef liver, natural flavoring, silica, areogel, rice flour, ascorbic acid.

One teaspoon of Berry Balance contains 334 mg of cranberry, 108 mg of blueberry, and 112 mg of Vitamin C.

Feeding Recommendations:
This product is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding only. For cats and dogs, feed the following amounts, mixed in with dry and/or canned food, twice a day for the first month. After one month, reduce to giving these amounts once a day only, three days a week.

For Cats and Dogs:
Up to 15 lbs. 1/8 tsp. twice a day
16 to 30 lbs. 1/4 tsp. twice a day
31 to 45 lbs. 1/2 tsp. twice a day
46 to 60 lbs. 3/4 tsp. twice a day
75 lbs. & over 1 tsp. twice a day

Please keep in mind that response to supplements varies by individual.  If your pet's condition changes in any way that concerns you, discontinue use of any supplements and contact your veterinarian.

When introducing any new supplement, it is wise to start with a lower than recommended dose and build up over the course of several days to a week.  Only introduce one supplement at a time.
