Comments about Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder:

Solid Gold Seameal is excellent. My Vet said my dog had allergies, licking her feet and constantly scratching. Giving seameal as directed has stopped all this.

Comments about Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder:

I tried using this several times, just to be certain it was the culprit. It gave my dogs, especially the male, dry nose and his nose turned more brown than black. For some reason it's just not agreeing with my dogs. I took them off it for several months each time before trying it again but the same thing happened every time. Now it's too late to return it but I don't like the effect it's having on my dogs

Comments about Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder:

Seems like a great product for dogs with allergies, but im not sure if I am seeing any results yet, just finished one bottle (1pound) and have one more to go. Dog is still licking paws and scratching (alaskan malamute). Might be good as just a supplement still. Price and shipping were alittle expensive. My malamute didnt really like the taste of the seameal haha very high matience I guess.

Comments about Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder:

The stuff works, gives great energy and joint relief, but it smells awful (fishy), tastes worse (bitter). The only way I can get my pets to eat it is to use teeny amounts in strong-flavored foods, like peanut butter for the dogs, tuna for the cats. But even that doesn't always work--and it's a pain to "dose" them several times a day. I tried dissolving it in warm water as instructed--it does not dissolve, it swells up! Also, not a powder--it is like fine sawdust.

Comments about Solid Gold SeaMeal Powder:

I started using this 10 years ago with our first Portuguese Water Dog at the suggestion of our breeder. People on the street during our walks, her groomers, other dog owners, etc. would always comment on how gorgeous her coat was. Perhaps some was genetics, but we are using this on our two new dogs (one PWD, one mixed breed) with the same results. A good friend starting using on her PWD and couldn't believe the difference in his coat after a couple of months of use. This is worth every penny....and keep in mind that this jar will last a very long time.

This product has changed my dogs life. Our shepherd mix constantly itched and scratched. He was miserable. We changed to grain free food with no relief. Two weeks on SeaMeal Powder and the itching and scratching has stopped. I highly recommend this product to all dog owners. It's fabulous!

I feed all four of my dogs this supplement. It has lots of excellent things in it for your dog, and the best part is that they love the taste of it. Everyone one of them lick the bowl clean. And one of my dogs is finicky. Good stuff, I recommend it.

We're using this,at a friend's suggestion,in an attempt to reduce itching and improve hair regrowth in an older cat who just finished his second 25 weeks of chemotherapy within 2 years. He's itched hair away from a spot on his shoulder blades but is showing lustrous regrowth and healthy skin. His coat, overall, is very soft(partly due to chemo), shiny, and healthy looking. Itching is still a problem but the vets are unsure of the cause.
