Treats are soft so they balance my puppy's food which is crunchy - I break them into smaller pieces and use them as rewards for good behavior and to get "Maggie" to do what I want. She LOVES her Wellness treats - they are a little smelly, but I just rinse my hands after offering them to her. No problem.

I use the treats as a reward for certain commands, they are very easy to break up into little pieces seeing that my puppy happens to be a chiuahuah and cant be over filled by big morsels. She absolutly loves them, and my vet said that wellness is a good product.

Okay, so I don't have a puppy; I have a 3-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. No matter, this is obviously a tasty and highly motivating training treat for grown-up, big dogs too! It smells strong and smokey, and is a soft, quick reward when training. I even had grilled chicken on hand and she preferred these at a recent show where we completed our rally excellent title.

My 16 year old mixed breed suddenly became extremely ill,having developed a case of drop jaw. Eating became difficult for him and he required a great deal of nursing to regain his strength and health. He sorely missed his morning treats (which at this point were too difficult for him to chew). I discovered the Wellness Puppy Treats and thought that I'd give them a try. I figured if a puppy could eat them then so couldn't he. They were a hit with him immediately! Perfect size, nutritious, and very easy for him to chew! Thankfully the drop jaw has passed, but I will continue to order the puppy treats.

I was looking for a natural, soft training treat. Since my dog LOVES the apple/yogurt Wellness biscuits I thought I'd give these a try and wow! He looks like a soldier standing at attention when he hears me open the bag. They are the perfect size for training and once again they are made with real stuff. I couldn't ask for a better treat. Compared to some of the other natural treats this one is cheaper but compared to the general marketplace they are higher and that's really my only negative. Of course, as an organic food buyer that's not really a negative, that's just the way things are.
