Nature’s Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil contains more EPA and DHA than Salmon Oil and has naturally lower levels of environmental contaminants. By supplementing Nature’s Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil’s natural rich source of long chain Omega-3 Fatty Acids, you are adding one of nature’s most bio-available sources of these nutrients to your pet’s diet.

About Nature's Logic

Nature’s Logic has distinguished itself from all other natural pet foods by excluding all chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals or trace nutrients from all of its product categories. With its special ingredient selection and formulas, Nature’s Logic not only meets, but exceeds almost every minimum requirement for amino acids, vitamins, and minerals listed in The Association of American Feed Control Official’s (AAFCO) Nutrient Profile for Dogs and Cats.

There is virtually no danger of overdose of vitamins and minerals when these nutrients are derived solely from all natural whole foods. Nature’s Logic has carefully chosen special food ingredients that supply needed vitamins and minerals solely from nutritious meats, poultry, fish, eggs, and numerous concentrates of fruits and vegetables. By doing this, Nature’s Logic diets exceed all AAFCO recommended minimums on amino acids and exceed almost all recommended minimums on vitamins and minerals. Nature’s Logic contains only 100% natural food ingredients with no chemically synthesized vitamins or minerals. In nature, dogs and cats are meat eating predators, what scientists call carnivores. When wild dogs or cats consume their prey they eat the entire animal, including hair, bones, entrails, blood, stomach contents, etc. Their prey is often herbivores, or plant eating animals. Predators obtain essential trace nutrients available only from plants by consuming the stomach and intestinal contents, which are partially digested plant materials, of their prey. Cats are “obligate carnivores,” which means their diet must be made up primarily of meat. Nevertheless, even these meat eating animals still obtain essential nutrients from small amounts of plant derived foods. Nature’s Logic pet foods are formulated in a similar way. They are primarily made up of meats and other animal-derived products, but they contain small amounts of selected high quality plant products that provide essential and natural nutrition without the addition of chemically synthesized nutrients. Carnivores in the wild are never exposed to chemically synthesized vitamins, minerals, or trace nutrients. Nature’s Logic is formulated the way a truly natural diet should be, which is the logic behind Nature’s Logic pet foods.

Nature’s Logic sources for natural vitamin and mineral supplementation which have required minimums listed in the AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for Dogs and Cats. Chemically synthesized mineral and vitamin forms have long been used in the feed industry to correct deficiencies in diet formulations, but not without risk. This practice is much cheaper than using enough quality ingredients to provide ample nutrient levels. The National Research Council reports on “Mineral Tolerance of Domestic Animals” and “Vitamin Tolerance of Domestic Animals” state that the main emphasis for the reports is the potential adverse effects of chemically synthesized minerals and vitamins on animals. In the body of the reports it is stated how the toxicity of many chemically synthesized minerals and vitamins has been known for many decades with known toxicity in humans as well as many animals including cats and dogs.

Nature’s Logic is committed to providing diets that include only 100% natural ingredients which provide needed nutrients, including vitamins and minerals from food sources only. Nature’s Logic diets exceed all AAFCO nutrient profile minimums using 100% natural food ingredients on the following minerals and vitamins listed in the AAFCO Nutrient Profile for Dogs and Cats: Calcium, Phosphorus, Sodium, Chloride, Magnesium, Iron, Copper, Manganese, Iodine, Selenium, Vitamin A, Vitamin K, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Pantothenic Acid, Niacin, Folic Acid, Biotin, and Vitamin B12.

A portion of the proceeds from your purchase of Nature's Logic products is donated to the organization, Feed Them Right Institute. Feed Them Right Institute is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to research on proper feeding of companion dogs and cats for optimal health and longevity. My dogs started refusing to take gelcaps so I switched to liquid. It obviously is not unpleasant in taste or they would not take it; I've never had a problem giving this to them and will continue using it.

Comments about Nature's Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil:

Our old mini-dachsund cannot walk because of 'arthritis like' symptoms in her front and back legs, but we are determined to make her as comfortable as possible as long as she can still enjoy living.(She still enjoys eating and playing with her toys as well as curling up by either of us on the couch)
Part of her care is giving her home made dog food topped with Nature's Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil. She just loves it. In fact, if we forget to top her food with it, she just sniffs at it and turns her head away as if insulted. We don't know if her pain is lessened by it, but we do know we are doing something good for her and it makes her food more desirable to her. We would not be without it.

Comments about Nature's Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil:

Using this certainly beats tossing a pill into their food, only to find it is left when they are finished eating. I do not like pilling any dog, especially my one greyhound who recently underwent LP surgery. This makes life very easy and the dogs seem not to notice anything different about their food. A win/win situation. Omega 3 is VERY important for animals and humans alike. This works great!!!

Comments about Nature's Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil:

My dogs have always been indifferent to fish oils; they don't turn their noses up at them, but they don't really care either way. Not so with this oil! They both love it and scarf down any meal I've added it to. It's a great, high quality product, and I love the cost economical price and large bottle since we go through about 10oz of fish oil per month for both dogs.

Comments about Nature's Logic North Atlantic Sardine Oil:

My dogs all love sardine oil in their food. There is no nasty smell and the bottle's squeeze lid makes it easy to use. For myself, I am pleased to have a product that works well on the dogs and not have contaminants in it. I do mix this with Ultra Oil for a great oil additive mixture. It works great and is well accepted by all.
