Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

Have had cats for over 40 years now, no I am not a hoarder, only one or two at a time. Must say that grain free is the way to go. Mine are indoors exclusively now, it is just too dangerous these days to let your cats outside, and they are perfectly happy indoors, especially when you have two. And mine get along with the dogs very well also. In any case, this is great food, grain free, they have much more energy and healthy output as well. Let mine free feed and they do well with it, but every evening also mix in a bit of canned Taste of Wild or similar and they have a handful of this dry food during the day to munch on. This is superior food, mine love it, they will eat what they want and walk away, so there is no "sugar spike" from grains that makes them hungry again. I would recommend this food to all cat owners, they love it and eat with no issues. It lasts longer as they eat less of it than the big brand commercial stuff, and are satisfied. Do try this, and always remember to introduce new foods gradually, mixing with your old stuff and weaning away. Never start any animal suddenly on new foods and then blame intestinal issues on the food. Think you will agree this is superior.

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

This is the best natural, grain-free food I've used for my cats. They're both indoor/outdoor cats and were both diagnosed with Feline Herpes when we adopted them from the shelter. This food is SO great for their immune systems. They're doing really, really well!

        A Mixed Bag, part II

        By The Cat Whisperer

        from Colorado

        About Me Long-time Pet Owner

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

An update to my previous review, in which I was (or, more accurately, the kitties were) too quick to judge.:

"Canyon River" has long been my go-to dry food. It has all the goods to provide a nutricious meal.

Recently I ordered "Rocky Mountain" flavor. Neither of my cats would touch the stuff. The full bowl sat there, adjacent to other kibble(s), for two weeks. But then one night a brave and curious feline took a chance - and the kibble did not kill him. (Or her - they won't fess up.) The other cat joined ranks, and now they appreciate it as much as,or perhaps more than, Canyon River.

        A Mixed Bag (Har!)

        About Me Long-time Pet Owner

Comments about Taste of the Wild Grain-Free Dry Cat Food:

"Canyon River" has long been my go-to dry food. It has all the goods to provide a nutricious meal - perhaps too many. (What is up with all the fruits and vegetables in cat food? Were they once hunters AND gatherers?)

HOWEVER, recently I accidentally ordered "Rocky Mountain" instead. Neither of my cats will even touch the stuff. (Yet they don't seem to mind licking each others butts.)

Received my 1st bag today...I have an 11 yr old Siamese cat who has suffered with allergy problems for several years now...she was literally pulling her hair out in clumps..and was just skin & bones...

I gave her a small amount of her new food & she gobbled it down like I've never seen...based on the other reviews I'm hopeful I have found the answer to her skin problems!
