In my opinion, a much safer, easier way to replace bone meal in a raw diet for cats. My rescue cats gobble it right down so it must taste ok, too.

I prefer this product over bone meal because it is easy for puppies (and all dogs) to digest and absorb. I use it to supplement a high nutrient organic home cooked dog-food for my puppies, to complement the growth of their bones along with the rest of their bodies and muscles.

I was starting my dog on a raw food diet and wanted to have some calcium on hand to add to her diet. She refuses to eat anything I put this calcium on, even meat. Tried it with cottage cheese, yogurt, mixed with everything. She will not eat anything that has this calcium on it.

I have two german shepherd's, one has slight hip dysplasia. The calcium has made the bones strong and has slowed down the dysphasia quite a bit. My holistic vet recommended this and both dogs bones are strong. Works so well and easy to give, just put on their food.

This was my first time trying this product. It is very easy to administer. I have three dogs who all eat home-prepared food. I simply weigh the food on our kitchen scale after cooking and mix in the Calcium and put the food in the fridge for daily use. I can't say that it is helping anything in particular but with home-prepared you have to make sure they get the proper amount of calcium and this should do that! I would recommend it!

I feed my 14 yr old Cocker Spaniel mix Tiny a mainly raw food diet, but no bones, so I needed some calcium. For some reason, other forms of calcium turned her BMs white! I figured that couldn't be good, so I kept looking and finally found Natural Calcium. It has no side effects, and I found that she no longer craved eating other dogs BMs, which apparently she had been craving for the calcium.

I make a homemade diet for my 4 year old cat and this product provides the calcium he needs. It blends easily into the chicken or turkey and he can't detect any taste or aroma, so no problems administering it.
