I bought 3 bottles of this spray last month when my 20 year old indoor cat surprised me with fleas. At first I wanted to treat him naturally, but due to dermatitis on his hind area, was forced to go to the vet for meds to treat him properly for his age.
Here in Ohio, I hear that we are having a severe flea season---and the bugs near my home are worse as well. After reading other reviews about how well this product worked on PEOPLE as a natural repellent, I definitely wanted to give it a try as we spend a lot of time outside on our porch & in the yard. We had already gone thru several cans of the major brand of insect repellent, and my biggest problem with it is the stickiness & chemical residues---too strong for daily use. We LOVE this spray! It works extremely well! Just last night (first weekend in Oct!) we had a crazy attack of mosquitos---after spraying ourselves & the outdoor area, we were no longer being bombarded. The best part is that you don't feel like you need to shower off any sticky residue before bed. (My boyfriend does feel this spray has a strong smell to him, but since the smell subsides quickly enough, he's a fan now too) I have not used this ON my cat directly, but do spray his areas of rest & doorways, furniture, etc. Since we grill outside often, we also spray our legs & clothing, in case we ourselves brought in the fleas that my cat had gotten. Incidentally, last month we had seasonal midges come thru that cling to screens---spraying the screens alone kept them away. My mother grabbed one bottle from me for her gardening time protection--and I'm back to order more!

This product does help keep ticks and mosquitoes away from my dog. It doesn't seem to help with itching though. I also like that I can spray it on myself and not have to worry about chemicals. I would definitely buy more of this product.

I didn't use the product for a week and my puppy scratched and scratched. But after one day of using the spray she scratched less and less.

Very good product. I have never had a flea infestation, and I simply treat any possible issues by feeding garlic and brewers yeast. However, this takes a little time to build up in system to be effective, and when I had some orphans that suddenly were having some sort of flea/mite/fungus issue I had to do something quickly to help knock it out as fast as possible. I treated the kitten, sprayed their surrounding, and washed all their launderables with this neem spray. I am very impressed and would really recommend it. Just remember to give your felines a 24-hour test if they've never been in contact with the oils in the spray - some kitties react to those herbs, so rub a little bit into a small spot on their skin (I like to use the back feet due to the short hairs, tight skin, and good circulation there) before really using the spray just to be sure the cat will not react to it.

I also sprayed my clothes and arms with it when caring for the kittens so I would not transfer the creepy crawlies on my body to my other animals.

Good spray - would highly recommend.

I used chemical flea controls and I hated the side effects, and I mean deadly side effects. I was in disbelief, but the Neem Oil product works better than the chemical flea controls. Gentle enough to spray every few days. LOVE IT!!!

We have used the store bought tick and flea control and one of our dogs had a seizure disorder. I sure wish we would have known about Neem while we had him. We use it now on our 2 year old Sheltie and it seems to works wonderful and no side effects!!

In the summer my Catahoulah get dry skin on his back above his tale. Thius oil moisturizes and keeps him from scratching all the time.

I originally bought this to put on my cats, well that didn't go over so well. So I started using it myself for mosquitoes. I am now never without this product, I keep it in my car and everywhere. It works so well and I like the smell. Plus you don't feel like you have a chemical-ly insecticide on, you don't mind going to bed with it on. Which is particularly helpful when we're camping. Love this stuff.

I bought this product for the first time in 2007, to run off the mosquitos, and in Florida, we really have mosquitos. It works beautifully. While we were in St. Louis, Mo. and all the outlying areas, my cousin ran into chiggars. I suggested he rub some on his bites, and they stopped itching immediately, and no more chiggars came near him. I highly recommend this product for pets and humans alike.
