I love Rescue Remedy. I've been using it for myself and for my dogs and cats for years and years. I can't say enough good stuff about it. Calms anxiety in me and in any of my pets who need it for whatever reason--thunderstorms, fireworks, vet visit, long car trip etc. It works, it's natural, no side-effects, easy to administer--what more could one want. I'm just a huge fan. I really try to avoid heavy-duty medications for my furry family members whenever possible so I look for natural remedies. So glad my best friend found this. I even carry a bottle in my purse. I'm a therapist and have recommended it to clients who experience anxiety. It's a terrific first step. If it doesn't work, we can move on to an Rx. But so many people have found it helpful for themselves, as well as their dogs and cats.

I used the drops and just placed them in my two dachshunds' mouths. They were quite agitated due to New Years fireworks In a few minutes, they calmed down. I did need to give them a bit more later on.

I adopted my Schnauzer mix from the Humane Society a few months ago. He's 2 1/2 years old, approximately 32 pounds, and full of energy. He barks at unknown noises and strangers whom we encounter on our daily walks or who walk by the house when he's looking out of the window. I mean, he REALLY barks! At first I tried the recommended four drops with no results. Then I doubled the amount and still had no results. Perhaps he's just too high strung for this mixture. I did notice that it contains over 25% alcohol. Maybe I'll take it for our daily walks instead! :o)

I have a cat that had been sick on and off for over a year. The vets had no idea what was wrong with her, but she was put on steroids that eventually made her better. She was on them for a long time but became a totally different cat. She was mean and gained a lot of weight. I told the vet it wasn't an option to use that anymore, so I slowly took her off the prednisone she was on (the vets originally said she'd be on it for life, but luckily she did just fine without it) and began using the rescue remedy to help with her anxiety and temper she had developed while being on the steroids. It was truly a lifesaver. She never really lost the weight from the meds, but I have my sweet cat back!

I'm moving across the country now years later and I'm buying a new bottle to help them with their traveling stress.

My 14 year old cat, Molly, lost her brother and liter mate, Harley,suddenly on September 15th. I found them both in a barn when they were about 5-6 weeks old and they have never been separated!! Molly alerted me to Harely's unexpected passing in the middle of the night. Almost immediately, she started to exhibit anxiety and enormous grief. Due to Molly having Severe Asthma, which requires evening breathing treatments to control, I contacted my Vet after a day of her excessive howling and looking frantically for him (they were always indoor cats). They suggested Rescue Rememdy drops. I did an Internet search, trying to find a store to get them ASAP and was able to purchase the regular formula with alcohol at Whole Foods, put a few drops in her water and they seemed to work immediately. Found that Onlynaturalpet.com had the nonalcohol pet formula and ordered 2 bottles and when they arrived, started to use them. It has been 3 weeks and I continue to add 8-10 drops in her fresh water bowl daily. When she has a difficult time, typically between 2 - 4am, I give her 4 drops directly into her mouth. It seems to have no unpleasant taste, so it is easily administered. I am pleased with how quickly it works to relax and calm an animal. Molly will remain relaxed for a few hours. My only issue with the product is that too much air collects in the Eye Dropper that is used to draw up the drops, making it difficult to give a few drops directly into Molly's mouth ... more of a guessing game as to how much she is given. Overall, the product is wonderful and will continue to have it on hand and recommend it to fellow pet owners.

It works just like it says it would. My Pomeranian started getting anxious when I left her in her kennel. It started getting really bad. So bad, that she was panting really fast by the time I got home. I had to leave in a hurry the other day and didn't have time to give my pomeranian the Bach Rescue Remedy, but gave it to her the minute I got home. Poor baby, she was anxious and panting really bad. I gave her the Bach Rescue Remedy right away and in about 15 minutes, she had calmed down. She was still panting a little, but not nearly as bad. Before, she would pant for over an hour before she calmed down. I was really impressed. I will make sure to give it to her before I leave next time.

I add drops to the water bowls and all three pets drink as usual, so apparently, no unusual taste. The two older animals take other "calming" therapies, so I can not say for sure they respond favorably to Rescue Remedy, but I know of someone who used it for their dog when thunder storms came in. For the reasonable price, the natural calming ingredients, and the easy administration of it, I say "nothing beats defeat but try".

Couple drops a day in the cat's water have helped de-stress him, made him more people-friendly and -- who knows if it's cause and effect -- stopped the UTI's that were prompting urinary disasters.

Just gave my nervous and anxious boxer one dose of 4 drops. Within 10 minutes he was laid back and not pacing, whining or any destructive behaviors. This made him enjoyable to be around. This was my last chance to try something other than rx hard core drugs. I hope it continues to work well for him.
